The commentary here sounds so much like U.S. citizens griping, it's almost funny, but also sad. But I've also been to Canada four times since the 1980's, and each time I am just wowed by the many ways in which Canada seems ahead of the USA. The grass truly is greener on the other side of the fence... just be aware of what you have, and that you have an amazing country, too. Comparing the US to Canada, I notice we have more freedoms here in Canada in spite of the high cost of living, and because of the freedoms we have more solidarity to call Canada our home. We don’t pack a piece when we leave home to run errands, we don’t whirl the maple leaf, we don’t adorn our buildings with the maple leaf, and we don’t wear maple leaf clothing. We don’t do any of these things because we don’t need to, because we are not paranoid, and that is why we don’t have the level of violence that is in the US. This land is our home, and it has always been peaceful for the most part, until now that Trump is touting threats of taking Canada as the 51st state. He wants Canada because we have the natural resources that the US needs. He will build a direct line to Alaska. He will drill all over Canada wherever he wants. He will kick Canadians off their land to drill. Trump will do whatever he wants because he’s a business man. He does not take others into consideration, just his own plans to meet his own selfish gains. What Trump is doing are illegal manoeuvres and he must be stopped. There has got to be a limit within legal guidelines to stop this insanity.

Basically, for the past four years, Biden, Harris and the Democrat Party have spent hundreds of billions of US tax dollars flying illegal immigrants in and basically leaving America’s borders in Mexico and Canada wide open to mass illegal immigration. In the past few years, the Democrats have spent billions throughout all of our federal agencies via misappropriated US taxpayer funds that were earmarked for American citizens or American infrastructure and development, then used these misappropriated, taxpayer funds to provide housing, food, education, medical care, and in most cases, luxury hotels. Just within the past two weeks FEMA spent over $500 million to provide luxury hotels for illegal immigrants yet a few weeks ago they were still claiming that they didn’t have enough money to help American citizens who suffered catastrophic loss during recent hurricanes and wildfires. The simple fact that Democrats got more upset that Elon Musk bought Twitter than they are, that their own political party in government for the past four years, has literally been holding them at gunpoint and forcing them to pay taxes so that they could steal it or launder it into their own campaigns and pockets is literally disturbing! WTF!!!! If any of those other federal agencies are ran or funded the way U.S. AID were, with the massive corruption, misappropriation, fraud and theft of taxpayer funds, then I hope DODGE goes through an completely audits, every single federal agency in the United States. No wonder the Democrats are freaking out the way they are, if the Republicans got caught this bad with their hand in the taxpayer cookie jar, then you know the Democrats would be screaming a different tune. Hi everyone, I'm just going to weigh in some experience here. These people have given up on their government to fix things. They had it good before when Venezuela was wealthy not so long ago. They want that back. Who wouldn't. They want a chance at a better life . They have in most cases already sold all possessions for traveling money and bribes or security. They are scared and tired of traveling. They got told to come to America by someone. I wish we could afford as a country to take them all and it be ok and they build a good life here. I wish it was like that. The system we have needs work for certain. The USA is being overwhelmed by too many coming. We have to slow the roll . But it's a bad situation for all involved. They will look for an illegal way if needed to make it. Hence the cartels step in and offer a way in exchange for money or drug smuggling and the trouble gets worse. There is no simple solution here. Rough on everyone.

Yeah, Canada is not a real country. By the way. It happened during 1931. When Canada got the chance to become a country, Quebec didn't want to be a part of it so therefore it was not an official country. That means the people's right Constitution didn't go through. For those here on the Chat that don’t own rental property I’m here to tell you that this is 150% REAL. New laws, slow courts, uninterested judges, unfair policies have caused landlords to suffer at the will of deadbeat TENANT. 1year Before Covid hit, I had one tenant starting to slow pay, during Covid not one cent after Covid not one cent! TENANT works a job, but still doesn’t pay the rent back-and-forth to court, continuous legal fees on my end. We just got her out the beginning of 2025!!!! ? trust we were ready to set the building on fire if we didn’t get that eviction letter this year!! Rather lose the entire property than to allow a person living inside it to live freely, and here’s the kicker she totally destroyed everything \nhoarding and intentionally damaging the floors and walls. Now we have to gut the entire unit to make it presentable for another tenant however, just not excited about renting to anyone else anymore. This experience has completely taken the wind out of being a landlord. And yes, this person was properly vetted, credit check and everything.

I remember in Matamoros 4 or 5 years ago a group of migrants stormed the bridge. I was crossing to work on a daily basis at the time and had to cross the BM Bridge because Gateway Bridge was where these clowns staged their protest. Barriers were erected, guns were locked and loaded and these scumbags put the CHILDREN in their group at the front, as some kind of shield. They disrupted the lives of a huge part of the city because so many of us cross on a daily basis, to school, work, etc. I've got several stories of how awful they were in the slum they set up in front of the bridge...

Being an Indian and who lived abroad (legally) for half a decade i will only say this you shouldn’t be migrating to a country illegally,if you are there illegally you should be ready for getting treated as someone who broke the law.The Indian government statement read its just protocol which is actually true.As a fellow indian i do feel sorry for the people who got deported but again you weren’t there legally,You should have expected this to be a possibility when you took the decision to cross the border illegally.
