They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions and the various other benefits, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia.

Canada is now full of non Canadian citizens of convenience- chinese, indians, arabs, africans, latinos - all there for the benefits. Last visit to toronto and Vancouver saw and heard only non canadians. Glad to hear they're all leaving. Population replacement is never a good thing. I think Canada is still one of the best countries in the world. Some of the countries that have high rankings of happiness have free university, humane incarceration, much better health care,m and everyone has a family doctor, and many amenities to make life more productive and healthy. I’m fine paying more taxes for those societal benefits but many aren’t. Society is what we make it to be honest. Staying put and digging in and contributing to good in your community is a great way to improve city life. I think you are far too concerned with what things cost to do that unfortunately. Thailand is cheap as hell but I could never tolerate the low wages paid to vulnerable, hard workers, and the profound poverty, not to mention sex tourism. Trashing cities and departing isn’t helpful. What happened to the Israelites in 1944, must not ever and ever and ever repeat itself again. Never and ever. I just watched the documentary about how this evil would treated the Israelites doing the world war. We don't ever and ever and ever want to have another Hitler in this world anymore. People are afraid to say the truth. As much as he is right about the fact that the world needs to do more to stop the killings and getting the necessary aid in, i cant help but think that we will never know whether the palestinians actually want to stay in that land or to escape the fighting until the borders are open. We cant speak for everyone and surely not all palestinians are of the same opinion. Open the crossing and let those who want to go away from the warzone go and those who want to remain will stay.

Gazans have been asking to be taken in as refugees until the war ends. No one in the Arab world wants to help. They should be able to leave war if they wanted, just like Russians and Ukrainians, however the difference there is that the West supported them and offered them refugee status. The Arab world is declining to do this, perhaps out of fear that they will never leave. Which mother would not willingly leave Gaza to protect her children during wartime? It's not that they don't want to leave their land, it's that no one will take them.

As an immigrant to Canada from a country that produces some of the most in-demand professionals, inventors, and artists in the world, I am appalled at North America’s ‘get rich easy’ culture. The States at least has a booming innovation sector that ensures it’s producing things others want to buy and can’t themselves produce. By contrast, Canada’s ENTIRE FREAKING ECONOMY seems to be built on getting rich easy without producing a thing of value for the world: how can flipping houses be the largest chunk of your GDP?! It sickens me. I’ll live and work there - at a job that pays six figures and came to Canada only because I moved there - for a few years, and then move. I have never seen a more dull and uninspired group of people.

Ban all immigration for the next 25 years. Unfortunately (not surprisingly!) Canada has once again screwed over its citizens in favor of votes. The biggest problem is obviously housing, and while Canada has never in its history built more than 200K homes in a year, last year in 2024 Canada let in over 1M immigrants which equals 8 years of housing construction, while the Liberals have an immigration quota for 500K immigrants per year. Canada has to ban all immigration including International students for the next 2 decades. It will take Canada 20 years to build enough housing to increase inventory and lower the actual cost of housing, essentially bursting the largest housing bubble the world has ever seen.

My parents immigrated from Britain in the 1959s after WWII and built a comfortable life! At 72 I live a relatively comfortable life although I have spent all my savings and I currently rent! I lived in Spain with my much younger Colombian wife who passed away in 2019. My pension income is sufficient for me to live since I returned to Canada and I have better than adequate healthcare and dental care! The short story is \nTurd and the Turdettes were elected because Harpoons and his band of buttkissing bootlickers were self-serving incompetents. Now Turd, who has never been competent to be PM, which his long list of scandals should easily prove, is going to compel the election of another incompetent self-serving politician. I lived in Toronto for almost 25 years but moved to Berlin, Germany, a few months ago. I found the last few years to be really sad and also scary. There is such a huge mental health crisis. The TTC is not very safe feeling. I have friends there who travel with dog or bear spray in their purses. The cost of rent is definitely a huge issue. A lot of friends can never move into a new place and I don't know anyone there who can afford to actually buy a home.\nThe positives are the food options (groceries and restaurants - some of the best in the world), the nice social life, so many things to see and do around the city, and the various beaches and islands.\nThe city is definitely looking uglier and uglier, though, with all of these boxy, glassy condo towers and now with Ford doing things like turning public space into a foreign-owned inaccessible spa.

I was born in Canada. I am now in Thailand. I worked 35 years for a large transportation organization. I am retired and loving living abroad. It is cold in Canada 6 months of the year. Climate change is creating massive forest wildfires every summer now creating horrid air quality issues especially in the west, which is the mist beautiful part of the country in my opinion. I traveled back for a couple of weeks in October 2023 and was in shock over the cost of everything especially considering the recent inflation problem affecting the entire world. I couldn't wait to het back to my life in Thailand. Here there is no racism that I can see. All races and religions are accepted here. I hardly ever wear pants, shorts and short sleeve shirts. I can golf 12 months a year and live very comfortably on my pension. I could not have the same quality of life in my home country and the medical industry makes care here very affordable and accessible. In B.C. I found it extremely difficult to find s family doctor after moving there even to get a comprehensive medical checkup. I love my country of origin but will never return as long as I have the choice. Canada is over taxed, over regulated and very expensive now. These are the facts that created my choice to emigrate.

Beheadings, raping women hostages, burning Jewish babies alive would enrage God. Big cities in Canada actually aren't higher in crime. The worst crime is probably western small towns. But even really nice cities like Fredericton NB have far higher crime than Toronto does. This may be changing fast enough that we will see a change, but Toronto is almost an outlier in the world on crime rates. So Pickering is an A- on crime. Fredericton is an F. You would never guess it walking around. Though the same report says Pickering is a D- on health, while Fredericton is an A-, which is ridiculous because you can't get a doctor in Fredericton, unless there is one in the family. So maybe the stats are bogus.

I lived in Pakistan for 5 years for medical school. As much as I appreciated it, I knew I could not settle there. You will appreciate all the little things once you move. You can get ripped off by utilities company over there. Unless you know someone in power you don’t stand a chance. The inflation there is much higher than here. Some days you can’t find any meat or other foods. Almost everyone is trying to rip you off. Also safety is an issue. I was young and dumb. I was never targeted but it happens to locals all the time. As a westerner they can spot you a mile away even if you dress like them. You’re complaining about the cold, wait till you feel the heat. Electricity goes out all the time. You need to know people and have family in these countries. You can’t get things done independently like you can in the west. Also there are very few jobs that allow for the standard of living you are used to. If you are willing to sacrifice 90% of what you have now then you might have a chance. Lastly, you will most likely have to put your children in an American school when you get there because they don’t speak the language and they will act like westerners. And hide your wife from YouTube for God’s sake. If you had a billion dollars would you broadcast it to the world?

I used to live in toronto and i actually liked it there, people are ok not as friendly but ok, the lifestyle was good with so many different things available to do, u never get bored there, good nightlife, good sceneries, good malls, good parties, hot looking girls everywhere, the food is amazing with so many options to choose from all around the world, all good...... but the big problem was that life was so damn expensive, i had 2 jobs and was barely making enough money to survive, that's why i left.

I would never speak for a whole huge group of people like this. I'm 100% sure many would like to at the very least temporarily move. I definitely would. When where you live doesn't look or feel at all like home for me it isn't home anymore. It's obvious that you have never lived outside of Canada. Canada is probably one of the last countries in the world that accepts people for who they are and has a decent level of respect for belief systems. I get that you want to raise your children in a better environment, but trust me when I tell you this... you are walking into a world of disappointment. Canada itself is about 15 years behind other countries when it comes to this downwards spiral you are speaking of. Sadly, you will find out soon enough that this utopia you want to find, simply doesn't exist and you will discover you have left the variable comforts and safety of Canada behind. I'm not trying to burst your bubble, but am simply sharing what I discovered when I searched for the same things. I think L. Frank Baum said it best.... if I ever go looking for my heart's desire again, I won't look any further than my own back yard. If you are lucky in life you will discover that the world doesn't stop turning for you, and that the world that you dream of for your children must be created from within. That being said, it is good to travel and trying different ways of living is a wonderful education for your children.
