I use to work at grocery store or a supermarket my manager was Mexican but the owner is white and every time we clock in our manager would tell us “ look at everyone the same” some one that works with me in the store asked him what does that mean he responded with “ it means treat every one they way you wanna be treated”

I think the time is came to look ourself... There is no holy book teach us to figting each other or creat terror....the reason is behind that few people who never know Quran. I wonder if all this time when I constantly bump into employees if they're monitoring me as well.\n\nI'm half Native but don't _exactly_ look it because my dad was really pale. You can tell I'm not 100% white but I could pass.\n\nI do walk around with my own grocery bags because I take the bus/walk home, so I do look a tad suspicious I suppose, so that kind of makes me wonder. They seem very friendly when I speak to them or ask for help though so maybe it's a coincidence.

Recently I had a very uncomfortable time shopping for a sofa. I shopped for a couple weeks, looking around the many furniture stores in my neighbourhood. I thought I was maybe crazy but after a couple trips back to a few of the same stores I could tell a few of the stores didn't want to deal with me because of my skin colour. I hate racism and intolerance.

Having worked in lost prevention for years I can tell you that for certain black people are the most likely to steal. I worked at a store with cameras and casual security. We caught plenty of others before but most of the time it was a black person with baggy clothes.

I would very much like the muslims to tell us real Canadians what contributions that they are making to our country as a whole. How are they making life in Canada better? How are they bringing stability and growth to our country? They spend time teaching their silly little book to the people in their flock but nothing about Canada, our values, our hopes and aspirations for the country. We live in N.Y. about 2 hrs from the border to Canada and we love to go to NOTL for a quick vacation whenever we can - usually 4 or 5 times a year! We find Canadians to be WAY more chill than Americans and we love visiting Canada. One thing I'll tell you is figure out the insurance because we've had employees who didn't bother to do this resulting in them having none. When that happens, and you file your income taxes, the IRS takes a fine out of your return. The first year it's like $100, but it goes up each year. After a few years they can fine you like $600. Depending on how much you earn you may be able to apply for assistance in paying your health care premium or may not have to pay at all. I would encourage you to do that before you start getting fined...and welcome to the USA lol!

While I understand the anxiety the Muslim woman in the video feels, her accent is as Canadian as it can be which tells me she probably was born in Canada or came here as an infant. She's obviously had enough time to assimilate. She either has or hasn't. If she has, she's being discriminated against for no other reason than that she's Muslim, which speaks to a mindset that is being espoused by Stephen Harper. It would be more honest if he blocked all immigration of Muslims to Canada, but then the Muslims would really have a case if other nationalities were allowed in.
