This is very scary. Again, what Trump is doing makes no sense - there is no economic or political sense to it. So what is he doing it for ?? To reduce our trade deficit? We have a huge deficit with Canada because we import so much oil from them, which our refiners require. On top of that we get Canadian oil for first cheap when compared to the global price mark for oil. This keeps US petroleum prices LOW! So okay if this is the issue, why not just find ways to improve the economics of U.S. oil production instead of smacking all Canadian imports with a 25% hammer ??? He has ulterior motives and it’s to weaken the American spirit and sell what he has on American to Russia. And our Congress isn’t doing anything !!!

I support TRUMP on his take on UKRAINE. You can’t talk tough from a place of weakness. If America stops supporting, Ukraine is finished and this talk about after Ukraine NATO countries are next is total nonsense(if Russia does then just activate article 5 and shut the f up). I think we might be making a mistake by saying that Trump is being played by Putin. I am beginning to believe more so that he is an agent of Russia with a sense of agency and the people being played are the people choosing to work for him.

Zelensky was willing to pay Trump $500 billion dollars (or 50%) out of Ukraine’s minerals. And was willing to allow Russia to occupy 20% of Ukraine’s territory. Trump and JD Vance are chastising Zelensky when all Zelensky wants in exchange of the mineral and territorial deal is a security guarantee that Putin will stop invading the rest of Ukraine.

Trump is lifting sanctions on Russia and imposing sanctions on allies, via tariffs.

Tariffs just end up hurting the final consumer, Trump needs to implement measures that promote American growth and American Industries but not hurting the final consumer. Also Russia is the aggressor and needs to pay for all the destruction it has caused so far and economic impact !!

America's economy was a juggernaut the day before Trump and his greedy band of thieves took over, and our strength was in our alliances with Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Our moral strength was in our unwavering support of Ukraine and opposition to Russia. In barely a month Trump has undermined and destroyed all the trust previous administrations (aside from his own) had built. By trying to rob our allies blind and turn the US into a kleptocracy, Trump is destroying the economy and our standing in the world at record pace. Maybe irreversibly.

Reading as much as I could of the comments below, it is with great respect that we as human can still care for one another even when we are from different countries, continents, backgrounds an so one. Evil will always try to do it's thing and we must come together to abolish it. Being from different countries in this situation is not much we can do. Maybe stop importing from America, at least till this administration is gone in 4 years.
