The government always scream about climate change being a threat to humanity, but somehow they always see to forget about CO2 production when they bring in half a million immigrants a year from much warmer and less industrialized countries, knowing full well that these immigrants will produce way more CO2 here than if they has stayed home. Climate change is just a scam to tax Canadians even more while pretending that they are doing it for us.

Who in the hell would now want to immigrate to Canada ? Outrageous housing costs which consume most of your income . One has to work at least two to three jobs just to try to keep from completely drowning economically . A healthcare system which is on life support . It is next to impossible to get a doctor . Emergency waits times at hospitals can range from 4 to 24 hours . Traffic from hell in all of the major cities .... particularly Toronto , Montreal and Vancouver . The crushing cost of living . A political leader who is a complete fool who has basically destroyed the country in just 8 years . As if all of this wasn't bad enough ...... 5 months of winter from hell . Living in Canada is now an extreme struggle in every way imaginable . One will always struggle . One will always work like a dog . One will very likely fall into extreme debt in Canada just to survive . One has to pay outrageous taxes on their income leaving them with about 50% of what they actually earn after they have paid all of the combined taxes on everything that they buy or services that they use . Forget about ever being able to save money . Incomes are about about 35% less than other advanced than those in other advanced countries for the same skilled job . One will never own a home . One will never be able to start a family . One will always freeze in the winter . Life in Canada has become an absolute hell . The Canadian dream is as dead as dead can be . It is no longer a country where one can earn a decent living , own a home and live a good life . On top of all of this it has an authoritarian government which keeps passing new laws to reduce free speech and civil rights .

I have been an immigrant to Canada myself for more than 30 years, we see grass is always greener on the other side trick you into going to another country. People leaving because 61% live paycheck to paycheck and what they own all belongs to the bank after they die. Cheers ?

Is that why we're relaxing the requirements?\n\nOr is it because the basic fundamentals required for life are so out of reach in Canada now?\n\nMost immigrants come from places already subjected to the corruption of housing all going to greedy private-interests intent on just renting the housing back to the people in a perpetual state of serfdom. Most immigrants should see what's happening in Canada plainly, and know to avoid it and move on for greener pastures.\n\nWe could always green our pastures, instead of just focusing on Trudeau's stupid pipelines and all else.

What frustrates me is that a lot of these immigrants are prone to vote Liberal or NDP. The problem with Canada is the leadership that they helped elect. Not all, but stats show this. When Canada comes back as a great country, these people will come back and then the cycle will repeat itself. This is why there should be a new law saying that in order to vote, one generation has to had lived in Canada for at least 20 years. Or else they'll just bounce back and forth and simply use Canada for its benefits, while we're the ones always fixing and rebuilding the country. I feel very bad for the people about to retire and now don't have enough because of the poor choices this government have made during these 8 years.

It’s been 5 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. (I’ve experienced it myself hence saying)\nYou’re a lone survivor who’ll always keep fighting. \nThe only person who can make money here is businesses and high paid jobs which are reserved to Canadians. That’s how Canada’s job market is. Canadians’ first and if there’s something left they’ll look at you. By the amount of money people invest here they can establish a nice business back in their country itself and earn accordingly on own terms. \nMost importantly you’ll cut yourself from all emotional supports like family, freinds etc.\nI was social person back in India who liked making new freinds and memories but it’s nothing like that here. \nAnd it’s the same life, no different.\nYou wake up, dress, eat, go to work, come back, eat, sleep. Mostly Canadians are nice but again some will systematically judge you and say nothing but you’ll see in their actions, the way they’ll talk in a twisted way etc.\nYes I’m not saying that Canada’s bad or it’s no good but trust me it will take forever to build a life here especially with the number of people moving here from round the world. \nIf you’re well off financially from back home Canada’s a paradise for you. People need to stop believing in this fake illusion and come only if they got a purpose here. As an immigrant myself living in Canada for 11 years, I had challenges going to school but I overcome and graduated. Some immigrants, specifically the middle age would love have easier path which is not always available. Housing is the biggest challenge to a new immigrants to Canada, because the little money ? you make goes to renting and car insurance, still I'm not moving from AB. I love the summer camping ? to Banff ?

Not surprising at all. Canada has always presented herself above the actual reality. From not accepting credentials from other countries to fake multiculturalism, to actual support of new immigrants - I have a personal experience of comparison to Germany , way better organised, way more welcoming at the time.

Because the fact is a lot of immigrants are here for refugee status purposes and they always have planned to return home. It's like with Ukrainians. Many of them are here until they feel it safe to return home. Duh. Others are here to work and send money home to help their families.

The problem is that educated workers that come here can't get in to their fields. because we don't recognize those credentials for various reasons. A degree from most parts of the world aren't recognized by any western country, not just Canada. Western standards in most fields are way higher compared to developing countries. Canada has always been a stepping stone for a lot of immigrants who move on to the states once they've gotten citizenship here, mostly for the weather we have here.

Big oversight here. Immigration credential fraud was/is a big reason many immigrants have had to re-educate in Canada. The cheats/bad eggs in the past who bought their diplomas or forged their credentials had destroyed a very welcoming country, hence the reason for this in the first place.\nAlso, asking Canadians to send out welcoming committees to new arrivals is another great way to irk Canadians who have always been way more friendly and opening than most.

My immigration process took 14 years in total until I could get here, it was a blessing and I had a lot of gratitude to be here after living in a warzone. Ive lived in Winnipeg for 10 years, a part of me was always happy and okay to deal with the cold because at least nobody would be killing you or attempting to on a daily basis, with rockets and bombs. 10 years later, I was wondering that the only reason we came here was to escape war, and not find a better quality of life. You can tell me “you don’t like it then leave” but i find it disturbing that many Canadians here don’t recognize how bad the situation gets, when governments don’t do anything to enhance quality of life and corporates take control everywhere and raise the costs to unbelievable numbers. Housing crisis, most can’t afford houses or even rent a nice apartment. Healthcare system is a complete dogshit mess, people here don’t recognize the importance of how much this industry needs to be supported by governments and citizens because EVERYONE benefits from it and stay alive longer. I don’t know man, I only see it collapsing going forward, especially when everyone is divided and the aboriginal issues are a constant trend.

I’m Canadian and I work with lots of immigrants because the government pays half their wage. My boss gets cheap labour and we work them hard. Most quit in less than a month but there are always lots more!! I love it.

Canada was always the gateway for certain immigrants to get to their goal country...we we too foolish.

I'm currently living in France and the system of life is so good than any European countries but I always try to immigrate for a country that speaks English because French language is too difficult ,therefore to study what you want, to have driver license, to work in a good place, everything become compulsory for you to have or know french good level B1 To C1.\n\nin this case you can't do any any progress, life is good really but integration is difficult. \n\nimagine almost 2 years after language, using bicycle as a transport.

I don't know why it's always about immigration numbers. But not about how to actually ensure there's a possibility for these immigrants to be successful. You sacrifice a lot to come to Canada. And many don't have the option to leave because they have used up their savings to try and make it in Canada.

The sad part of this is that it's the immigrants that we want that are dragging up and leaving, the ones with degrees in medical and engineering. The ones with skilled trades and abilities. \n But sadly all we will get to stay are the dregs of society that came here looking for a free ride and hands out! The ones who've spent time and money and effort to improve themselves and better their lives will always be the last to count, Eco-immigrants and freeloaders who've jumped the border while ditching their passports and real banking info just to get a $1000 a week free taxpayer funded handout and free cell phones and housing and access to our social assistant network , will never leave unless you run them out of the country.

It's funny how simple minded some people are. Moving to Canada is not just about Money but more on getting Citizenship because the immigrants here have trash countries back home like India, Nigeria, Philippines, etc. It's not always about the Money.

ahh, i always thought the US had similar system of Immigration to that of canada's, according to the time frame shown in the example, it'd probabaly be faster to go to canada, get PR, get canadian citizenship, and then go back to the states for higher wages than wating to go through the whole process in the states, you also get universal health care if you are willing to wait, sometimes a uncomfortably long time

The problem is not immigration. During the pandemic there was no immigration for a few years, yet the price of the houses increased by about 20% a year or more. The problem is demand and demand is hugely increased by investors. Investors don't live in the place and in many cases they don't even rent the place. At lease half of those seeking to buy houses are investors. Therefore investors double the demand.\n\nHouses are limited supply whereas investors are numerous and have access to unlimited money either cash or loan from banks. We have created a housing market. It means we made it something like share market where everyone can put their money in it and buy as many as they want. During the pandemic demand for toilet paper became very high and there were limited supply. Supermarkets limited one or 2 packs per customer because it would be unfair for some to stack most of the papers and others have none. Some customers wanted to buy tons and fill their homes with toilet paper and they did. House and land is limited too. Why can't we do the same for homes? Demand is important and always going to be there from those who want to move there and live in it. Investors buy many homes and bid higher in value than normal people because they have more money and they know the price will rise. They raise the demand sky high. Specially if they're foreign investors. They can buy hundreds of apartments or houses and leave it empty.\n\nAs I mentioned, we do need certain amount of demand for housing and that demand is going to be always there by people who want to buy and live in it whether they're local or immigrants. However, when many investors come in and they have greed, the demand becomes sky high and the price will become so high that only investors can afford them. Rent also depends on the value of the property. The higher the price, the higher the rent. So the issue is investors. Too many of them with too much greed.

I have visited a number of Agents here in Kenya . I always find young people working in those agencies who are the ones giving you advice on ways to immigration to Canada. they tell you of how you will find jobs easily and how you will become rich. I wonder why themselves don't wanna go to Canada if they believe its a heavenly place.

I think she appreciates the health care as well with my talks with her over the years. She and I've been thinking this lately that Canadians have either changed or that Canadians are more friendly stereotype is going down .I think with more immigration, the cost of living and frozen pay and higher and higher taxes Canadians are increasing discouraged with politics and Canada in general. You noticed many of the woman mentioning health care and social programs as well? Police... We have a lot here as well maybe more so because of pay. The police are well looked after and paid well here. I think politics are getting more polar and more divisive here as well. The liberals have really really done a stellar job with two terms of sheer WEF CCP hogwash to destroy the country. Another general stereotype is that Americans are obnoxious and unpleasant isn't true as well. I'm in tourism and find most of the Yanks to be friendly and polite and GREAT TIPPERS. Ha many US servers don't like it when Canucks go over there because they're stingy. I think if everything works out without saying more, your country, like it or not , will ultimately start the big liberation finally of humanity hopefully for the better. You folks generally have a bigger love of freedom and you're ARMED. You have the mindset and the LEVERAGE to change the system. I live in Toronto and I am not rich. I am regular person. \nIf you are an immigrant and especially if you are considered from visible minority group aka not white, DO NOT leave Toronto at all ! Work hard and make it work for you. I am sure the majority people from your coutires in Canada are located in Toronto and its close cities. If you chose to live outside this multicultural heaven called Toronto then expect to deal with deep racism. Tuition fees in Montreal are way more cheaper than in Toronto or other parts of Canada. I lived in Montreal before and I went to university there. Montreal is great for education, aba rent are cheaper than Toronto but not for living there if you are visible immigrant. You will never feel you belong down there. Where as in Toronto, you will feel you belong to it within 30 mins max of you arruval. Toronto's motto are : you belong here and we have been waiting for you.\n62%of people in Toronto weren't born in Canada. You will find your community from your country in Toronto and the people are well established. I’m in Canada and I would say that’s misinformation. That’s happening in only two provinces Toronto and Vancouver as cost of living has risen. The rest of provinces are affordable and jobs are readily available. High skill requirements is kinda true and lie at the same time. Not all jobs here require high skills. Some jobs just require basic skills and those are the highest jobs available. New immigrants all they need is to get the immigration papers straight and move to affordable provinces to start a life. You don’t have to start a life in Toronto or Vancouver the most expensive provinces. People will always need to immigrate. I can assure you many people that have migrated are more successful than these few mishaps that happens everywhere even back home. Moving to Canada from Kenya is the best decision I have ever made in my life. Canada is one of the best countries you should ever move in.

I just think there is alot of problems where kenyans are concerned\n\n1. Rely on fake agents and their short cuts. There are accredited agents from developed countries who source in africa and asia but not the other way round. These are sometimes listed on official government websites. \n\n2. Don't fully undertand skills. They think acdemic papers and some random corporate jobs equals skills. Lets call skills, trades and ICT expertise; carpenters, plumbers, nurses, teachers have a better chance than some bank manager in Kenya. \n\n3. Rely too much on youtubers with random clips on things they need to train in like nursings and such over a short period then land in Canada and get a job. It doesn't work like that. First of all, has canada said they need Kenyan nurses? Immigration in developed countries is based on policy. So even when they give visas, they know what they are doing and who they are letting in and for what jobs. \n\n4. Do not go to official government websites to confirm random research and advice\n\n5. Hi, I am also from Zimbabwe, and I have lived in both Australia and Canada. I left Australia 2009 because I felt the place was not an open society. In Canada job opportunities can also be tricky for immigrants. I moved back to Australia after 10 years in Canada. At the end of the day the choose is yours but the grass is not always greener on the other side. Calgary is just identical to Perth. I would advise you to live in Toronto. In Australia I live in Melbourne now.

you may be overestimating how immigration of immigrants makes the city so much better. this policy also brings some negatives in terms of number of poor people, number of people overwhelming the 'free stuff' from govt, forcing a housing shortage which drives up price, give left govt unlimited power to increase taxes on everything..... so forces change, but not always for the better - tho some positives.

US is far better for individuals who wants to grow and work on themselves. I lived in US for 2 years and I got the best education learned a lot and met one of the most ambitious people. I always was motivated to do more. US boosted my education and career. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay there due to immigration issues. I moved to Canada and I am here for almost 5 years now and I am still struggling just to make ends meet. Every day I am looking for ways to get out of here back to US or elsewhere. Legalization of drugs, prohibitably expensive housing, poor access to health care, lack of availability of well paying jobs, massive intake of immigrants, overtaxation and fewer businesses opportunities. Canada was great place to live back in 1990s and early 2000s. Everything is going downhill after 2018. Immediately they need to fix immigration, taxation, healthcare, housing, drugs, and support small businesses.Else, Canada will continue to be the place of broken dreams.

I've noticed that immigrants from shithole countries like Nigeria and India will always complain about every little thing but they NEVER EVER move back to Nigeria or India bc those countries are shitholes!

I was an immigration consultant up until this June 2023. I stopped as I don’t believe in our immigration system anymore. It is not representative and how the government shows itself to be. I would always question skilled workers that have a great life in their country. I cared more about my clients than taking their money. I guess I don’t fit the mold as the majority of consultants will Try to get as much money from you as possible. Good video

Oh and don’t forget that one particular province still has a sizeable proportion that wants to secede. Toronto does not represent the rest of the country. Quebec has a first right of refusal if the person doesn’t speak French. But usually Ottawa deports the ones that have integrated perfectly into Quebec society. Ottawa doesn’t want Quebec to leave and thus has played the immigration game to increase its supporters via new arrivals. There has always been two countries in Canada, and the English speaking one has always tried to drown out the French speaking one. For over 150 years, French speaking immigrants were banned from entering the country. You can thank the American revolution political refugees for that.

As an older person who migrated decades ago after protesting in my old country, I encourage young people below 45 to FIGHT for your countries. Fight bad goverments. 7 billion people on the planet cannot move to the few western countries that seem to work and appear attractive on the surface, it’s not possible. The taxpayers in those countries are feeling it. Look at the folks sleeping on the floor in NY! The homeless citizens don’t have places to sleep but politicians are lodging new border crossing migrants in hotels at taxpayers expense, creating resentment! \n\nFight those oppressing you in your countries. Black America “fought” to eliminate Jim Crow so we can even move here. Black America and the White allies who struggled for civil rights ARE the reason the west has even been tolerant of the amount of immigration in the last 40 years! \n\nThere is no peace without a fight… even after the civil rights fights including the million man March 60 years ago? by MLK, the struggle against racism continues. \n\nHe left because of his children but will find out in 25 years time that they will want to connect with their roots even after succeeding in the West. \n\nYoung folks, take African, Latin American, Caribbean and Asian countries back from oppressive greedy corrupt rulers to reduce the need to leave our places of birth. I “fought” oppressive corrupt regimes with other like minded folks when I was younger before leaving! I wish we were more that were interested in protesting! Now folks are giving up without a serious protest, distracted by entertainment and the illusion of utopian countries which is not true. They find out too late! \n\nWestern politicians and governments need to stop cooperating with oppressive governments in these areas if they truly want to tackle immigration. Freeze their stolen loot like we did to the Russian oligarchs, force them to return the loot into their various economies and create good middle class jobs! \n\nThe west works because most work is assembly line in nature, glorifies slavery. A doctor has a target of about 15 to 20 patients to see per day and rushes you out of his office because the corporation he works for only cares about money and KPIs! You really aren’t allowed to interact with patients and provide personalized service. A pharmacist has to fill anything between 200 to 350 prescriptions, give a certain number of immunizations and see a certain No of patients per day. There is no time for niceties! A corporate professional May work remotely but has to deliver on so many projects he is up till 10pm and only gets up to eat. We have beautiful homes, drive nice cars etc but MUST work like the clock in an assembly line fashion! Most of us pay so much of our income as taxes we end up with less than 70% as paychecks! Things aren’t always what they seem!

All I can say...Live and let live. You will never be able to stop people moving around even if you tell them your own life experience. We always think we'll do thing differently. I myself been moving around and living in different Western countries, and despite the difficulties, I don't regret anything. There is no such thing like a perfect country and even if it's your country of birth....Just try to be satisfied with what you have....But now it's true the golden age of immigration to western countries is gone. Unless you are qualified, it's a serious gamble to immigrate to try your luck.....

I moved to Canada in the early 2000s as a young single lady. I had zero responsibilities or commitments to anyone back home, my expectations were not high, and i was on a journey. Canada is good when you immigrate on your own and have nothing to loose back home meaning no properties etc.\nI enjoyed living in Canada. Of course challenges will always be there but i always found a way out of them. I will forever be greatful to Canada.?

Immigrantion canada has become extremely biases towards indians punjabi and hindu immigrant. Plenty of skilled workers from french speaking countries were randomly refused even tho they fitted all the criteria for immigration (canada as always is trying to kill the french culture in canada) canada cant even give its biggest minority equal rigths its a shit country and quebec wants out of this toxic racist country
