That she might get in trouble for it. Then surely the city council, knowingly providing this money for the purpose of helping migrants, NOT GET DEPORTED, really needs to be looked into. Taxing the American's living in NY out the *ss, just to spend that tax money on stuff the citizens, DONT WANT THEM spending it on. Canada border patrol overseers need to do a better job in securing that part of the border on that side. They can stop those buses and check those planes for them coming into the US. As a US citizen, I am sad for both Canada and the US. We were great allies, and now that is gone. I wanted to move to Nova Scotia and start a new life doing my art and be a part of a culture I love. Comparing the US to Canada, I notice we have more freedoms here in Canada in spite of the high cost of living, and because of the freedoms we have more solidarity to call Canada our home. We don’t pack a piece when we leave home to run errands, we don’t whirl the maple leaf, we don’t adorn our buildings with the maple leaf, and we don’t wear maple leaf clothing. We don’t do any of these things because we don’t need to, because we are not paranoid, and that is why we don’t have the level of violence that is in the US. This land is our home, and it has always been peaceful for the most part, until now that Trump is touting threats of taking Canada as the 51st state. He wants Canada because we have the natural resources that the US needs. He will build a direct line to Alaska. He will drill all over Canada wherever he wants. He will kick Canadians off their land to drill. Trump will do whatever he wants because he’s a business man. He does not take others into consideration, just his own plans to meet his own selfish gains. What Trump is doing are illegal manoeuvres and he must be stopped. There has got to be a limit within legal guidelines to stop this insanity.

My dad is an Indian migrant to Australia. He came here legally and worked his butt off for 40 years. To people commenting in the section about how this is unfair and complaining about it. Legal migrants don’t want you in their countries either. It ruins everyone’s reputation. Indians have largely been known to be model citizens. Participants in the western traditions and economic development. By going somewhere illegally you break that trust and let’s be honest the only ones that travel illegally don’t have an education nor considerable skills. Hi everyone, I'm just going to weigh in some experience here. These people have given up on their government to fix things. They had it good before when Venezuela was wealthy not so long ago. They want that back. Who wouldn't. They want a chance at a better life . They have in most cases already sold all possessions for traveling money and bribes or security. They are scared and tired of traveling. They got told to come to America by someone. I wish we could afford as a country to take them all and it be ok and they build a good life here. I wish it was like that. The system we have needs work for certain. The USA is being overwhelmed by too many coming. We have to slow the roll . But it's a bad situation for all involved. They will look for an illegal way if needed to make it. Hence the cartels step in and offer a way in exchange for money or drug smuggling and the trouble gets worse. There is no simple solution here.
