ABSOLUTELY CORRECT but do note that these Indians are not coming for free, on average close to 90,000 Indian Students come to Canada to study with an average 2 year program, and each one of them spends at least CAD 40,000 for each year! Now if you do the math they inject about 3.6 Billion dollars every year! Which makes International student one of the top 10 source of revenue for Canada! The process is not the same as it was in the 80s when they did not require renewal every couple yrs w high $ and rules to return to home country for a set amount of time risking losing your home/job/business etc. Some renewal process for green cards have sped up but still takes 6-1yr and a new green card renewal and new one for Mexico can take 1-3yrs for approval. So someone that’s been here +20yrs will have to leave everything they have built here to go wait quite a long time. Its not if you agree how they got here, its what they have done in our country since being here. They add to our economy, +80% pay taxes to never get any of those benefits and they open businesses employing people etc. If they have been here committing a list of crimes then no i don’t agree but majority of immigrants don’t do that. I've lived here 6 years and can't wait to leave. Salaries are just enough to get by. I work full-time as an analyst and am looking for a minijob just to save money, which I already live quite modestly. It's easy to come across nasty unfriendly people, neighbors, service people, people in government agencies. I hate people staring in the most unfriendly manner or givng attitude for no reason other than they are nasty people. Don't get me wrong, there are nice people as well, but the bad experiences outweigh the good. Beauracracy is overbearing, personalities are underwhelming, the food scene is underwhelming, learning German is a big burden when you work a full-time job (and now I need a minijob too??). The country seems like it wants to diminish the human spirit and ambition. I definitely regret moving here. Many housing companies are over charging rent. I found out the company, Deutschewohnen, who owns my apartment was overcharging me by nearly double!! I had to go through a year long court procession to get them to lower it to the legal price which I won. And now they sent me a letter last month saying they are raising my rent, which is illegal and I have to go through ANOTHER court battle with them. Of course it is exhausting to try and find another apartment. Some people search up to a year. What a joke. And not to mention the dating scene. I've been single the entire 6 years and I'm quite an outgoing, friendly, loveable person. Dating Germans comes with own weird experiences and I refuse to give them a chance anymore, for my own mental health. If you're POC, it's not uncommon to come across strange sexualizations and general lack of understanding other's cultures. A couple years ago I was attacked by 8 men while walking home at night. I ended up in the hosopital and there was an investigation opened. The police asked me why they attacted me, which I didn't know since it was unprovoked. They just followed me for awhile, surrounded me and started beating me. The police said it was probably because I'm Asian. Meanwhile, I'm not even Asian!!! I'm Latino. ??‍♂This is the type of ignorance POC have to deal with in Germany. Also, I only have 1 German friend and all my other friends are immigrants (which I love) but this poses it's own frustrations because many people move here, then move away after a few years when they learn they can have a more fulfilling life elsewhere. A Ukrainian immigrant here. Absolutely in love with beautiful canadian nature, cute little houses, especially townhouses in toronto, just so wholesome. As for life, you gotta be some sort of specialist like a doctor, or a proper construction worker, or a truck driver to have a decent life that goes beyond just getting by and eking out an existence. On my own i can make enough money for food and rent, but thats about it, and im happy about it, really, i get to be alive thanks to canada, but i really hope i could move out of here as soon as it becomes safe, or just move to a cheaper country thats a decent distance away from russia. I ended up being unemployed and i do feel like im in quite a real danger on eventually becoming homeless if i dont manage to procure a job, and you know how the job market is now. As for health care, i simply dont have access to it, at least i dont have a family doctor and have been trying for a while to get one. I haven't tried walking ins yet since i prioritize food over health now but i might someday. I just hope that whatever sickness bugs me is minor, i cant do anything about it. My teeth hurt too, but i cant afford a dentist, and ive found one Clinique in toronto that helps immigrants fix their teeth for cheap, they can help you with three teeth in total, and i've used up one of it, and saving the rest for real emergencies. I cant eat anything except for real soft food, and i know im not gonna get any help i could afford any time soon.\nOnce i get a job i will be saving as much money as i can to leave Canada, i don't know where yet but i'm doing my research and hopefully will find a place, and if not well, sucks to suck. I escaped Canada with my family in 2022. The dark truth of Canada became obvious during the covid tyranny. I refuse to support this tyrannical regime so I quit my 15 year career as an officer in the Canadian military, sold our house, packed our possessions and left. I now consider the not only the state a threat, but Canadian citizens themselves are a threat to me and my family. I cannot foresee ourselves going back to visit, let alone live.

As an indian living in Dubai. If I feel a place was overcrowded- I would leave, but for some indians its not the same and its quite sad some politicians thinking a densely populated city full of jobless people is okay. Its kind of the opposite reason why indians move to canada(because most of us dont like overecrowded cities-which tends to happen in india). The amoumt of jobs need to increase. The infrastructure needs to increase. Colleges and schools where people actually pay for all of it is necessary. And homelessness needs to be replace by education and housing policies for older canadians especially. Preserving the respect for the elderly. The list goes on- and yes it will increase the amount of jobs, if they build and educate. Also increase the incentive to be educated.

After the COVID outbreak, II quit my job and traveled all around the world, including 1yr staying in Toronto. During that period, I experienced firsthand the inflation and social challenges Canada was facing. After much thought, I came to the same realization as you—I need to leave my home country. Canada is one of the worst countries in the world, if not THE absolute worst for men. The intimidation game is beyond brutal, that's what you get with melting pot madness. And of course if you have all that intimidation, the result is mental torture. Maybe that's why you don't like it. It took me quite a while to figure it out. I've spent most of the last 12 years (I'm 44) in Ukraine.

Great video. Thank you! My experience was a bit quite different when I arrived there in 2007. I did have support in bureaucracy and German skills. My university gave me almost free courses and scholarship payed full time courses with living cost included. I did have the luck to meet good Germans friends that helped me and made me feel included. After some years, when I wanted to pursuit a natural career path is when I found difficulties. Being promoted more than senior engineer, a manager positions or a Professor position were out of my reach because of me being different. My earnings aspirations soon reached a limit and then decided to leave to California. I have full respect and love for Germany, but there I was not able to be what I wanted to be. Now I have achieved more abroad. However, I still miss some things from my life there.

As a white Brazilian, I would say my experience was quite good (I've returned home less than 1 month ago). \n\nApart of some obvious jokes about the 7-1, I've never faced anyone who made me feel unwelcome or undesired, quite the opposite in many situations. Being of German descent certainly made things better. Other white Brazilians I've met told me they had similar experiences.\n\nUnfortunately, immigrants from other Global South countries and non-white Brazilians probably have very different experiences, for the worse. I've heard many unpleasant comments from my German friends and colleagues regarding turks, Arabs, africans and other immigrants from the South of the world. It's certainly a problem for many skilled workers who are not white and could contribute for the country, but they can't thanks to racism.\n\nIn my view, apart of racism, another great problem in Germany when it comes to foreign skilled workers is the lack of digitalization in the country and the bad Internet. Many jobs require good internet connection and digitalization, which are not always provided by the Germans , unlike virtually all the other European countries including much poorer ones. \n\nHaving said that, Germany has many good-hearted, kind and welcoming people (except the racists, of course), and a fantastic culture.
