So, trump hits american companies buying stuff from columbia with a tariff. Columbia does not pay the tariff and it is not going to affect anyone but the american consumer who the american companies, who paid the hidden tax he just imposes on us, the consumer, won't actually pay in the long run because that tariff just becomes part of their cost of goods that they will add to their sales prices.

This is too funny ?. Just keep issuing even more tariffs is only going to come back to bite us in the butt to us consumers. We get a lot of imported goods from other countries, the costs for us to purchase everyday things you enjoy is going to go up as well. I don’t understand how people don’t understand that.

It’s funny how he shift from the issue of how tariffs affect people in the US to the subject of migrant deportations. American consumers pay the tariffs. The companies pay the import tax and then pass the cost to the consumer. Why do people try to manipulate and tell folks something different.

When did the readership of cnn get so frikking stupid. The US is the biggest consumer country in the world. Tariffs will only hurt Americans, all of your costs will go up. You pay tariffs, we don’t. For Columbia, your coffee, tropical fruit like bananas, flowers are going up. For Canada, your gas prices, housing costs. Mexico, fruits and vegetables….basically your inflation is going to sky rocket.
