Canada better get their shit in order. It would really be a shame should they become a territory of the US. Much like Puerto Rico is. It wouldn't be hard. We can just send a handfull of rednecks from KY up there and do it. But then again, I can't really think of anything good that came out of Canada. I mean ffs, they gave us Justin Bieber....that alone should be a war crime.

If these people are just looking for a better life, why don’t they stay in Canada?!
2025-02-23 0
Send them all back to Canada and tell Canada, you said your country is so much better than America, so why are these people leaving and try to come to our country?\nAlso ban people from Canada from coming to the U.S who said if Trump won, they will go to Canada. Ban them for four years. Let's make a honest human being out of them.

Why would they want to leave Canada? We non stop hear about how much better it is there from Canadians

Canada does not take in” illegals “ unlike the USA…..they have a better Immigration system like other countries do & they don’t have “ just because an illegal gives birth citizen status because of ‘just being born’ there” either…only the US one country out of the entire globe has “ birth right”….Get rid of the sanctuary Cities & States

So, Canada is allowing these people into their country to sneak into our country. They couldn't get to our northern border if Canada didn't accommodate them. Entry into North American countries most be much more restrictive. Does the Canadian officials really think that turning away foreigners that say they are vacationing for two weeks is going to cripple their silly economy? They are telling Canadian border officials that, then they have two weeks to find their way into the United States. Moreover, the buses leaving Canada must meet very high restrictions and more Canadian border agents must be on duty. I'm fed up with my country being a flop house for the world. With all the energy they have to come here, they should put toward their own shit hole countries to make them better.

Trump better not be blocking them, Canada is responsible for them before they cross..
2025-02-23 0
So they can afford a flight from mexico to canada? They don't need to much help then bc their doing better than most US citizens.
2025-02-23 0
Canada better start doing their job!!!!
2025-02-23 0
Better get your ass together Canada.
2025-02-23 0
So wait, do we have to keep these people now?? 500 or so out of 600 or so terrorists came from the northern border? Wait, I thought it wasn’t a problem in Canada? ?? I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re now allowed to stay in Canada. Enough is enough. Thank god for president Trump, who managed to do something about OUR border crisis from the US, because our lame duck government couldn’t care less. We could only be so lucky to have leadership like him. Pollievre better step up.

We have our own housing shortage that needs to be addressed for existing Canadians who are struggling. I'm glad we are taking a pause and redifining the structure of how and who we receive into Canada. Until we sort out the housing crisis, which is in every major city, there simply aren't enough homes to help those in need and address newcomers who aren't financially self sufficient. If those immigrating to another country, they should provide their new country with their own financial means of support, or be of a profession that is in demand, the sooner they get jobs and pay into the system, the better.
2025-02-23 0
Canada border patrol overseers need to do a better job in securing that part of the border on that side. They can stop those buses and check those planes for them coming into the US. They could do it and they could do better job in doing that they don’t want to do it. It’s not a difficult thing to do use their brain a little bit that they probably have that doesn’t make sense. They’re still coming in from Canada. They’re just not affected if they were then they wouldn’t be coming in or sneaking in by buses.

Ummmm, maybe do some homework, Cash, or stop watching Fox News. Fewer then 2% of illegal immigrants cross the Canadian border into the US. As for fentanyl, your primary sources are Mexico, China and India with Canada so low down the list of sources we don't even register on the charts. Less then 1% (t's actually about 0.2%) of your fentanyl supply comes from Canada to the US. In fact, the reality is that far, far, far more migrants, fentanyl and--worse--illegal guns, cross FROM the US INTO Canada. On the other hand, you get 60% of your crude oil from us and in some areas of the US, 90% of the houses are constructed with Canadian soft wood. Don't get me started on the water!! Sensationalizing Trump disinformation is only going to fuel the very stupid decisions coming out of your White House right now. Far better you all take a step back, take a deep breath and learn how to use some critical thinking to fix what are truly the problems in America: the entire Trump administration and all of its supporters for a start, gun violence, fear, poor education, the right wing agenda, removal of social supports, justice and genuine human rights, just to name a few. Rome (the US) is burning and Trump is standing on the hill, playing his fiddle and it ain't migrants who are adding the fuel...

As a NYC Native Canada needs to get a better leader. Get Pierre Poilievre to be their next Prime Minister! We would appreciate it if they did!
2025-02-23 0
Governor Trudeau best secure that border. I don't care that your state of Canada has become an islamic terror hub, but you better keep them up north. If not you will be removed from your governors mansion and put in Prison.
2025-02-23 0
With Trump running this country why would anyone want to even come here? I thought Canada was doing better at their borders as people I know going through their get such hassles. Weird. I only agree with one thing with this president not letting anyone here illegally, getting rid of the gangs and criminals and holding them accountable for their crimes.
2025-02-23 0
If they are coming across the border in a vehicle Canada will not be able to stop them, they will stop at the US customs for screening bypassing Canadian border security. Canada has to do better stopping them from entering Canada to begin with. Stop the flow into Canada and it will stop leaking into the US.
2025-02-23 0
Wait if they're already in canada, why dont they stay their, its supposedly a better place to live
2025-02-23 0
Why didn't you mention the 200,000 illegals who came to Canada from the US? Or the thousands of guns that come up, or the tons of drugs that come up from the US?\nBoth countries need to do better. Love your show.
2025-02-23 0
thing is, Trump has the right idea about erasing the phony US-Canada border. What you do is look at all the resources, customs, inspectors, the massive amount from both sides on that border, ok?\nNow, it would be far FAR better than you take all of that and you now MOVE IT, all those choppers, people, money, time, resources along the North American border. the OUTSIDE perimeter of Canada and the outside perimeter of USA. \nNow, Canada does a far far better job stopping 1000s of Sikhs ad Chinese and whoever else before they GET INTO North American landmass. \n otherwise, yes it's difficult to stop once they are INSIDE Canada because that border is so long, so vast, so sparsely populated, wilderness forever, forests, it becomes extremely difficult by that time. \nErase the phony border.

I thought canada was better than america because they have free health care? They immigrated to a safe country, canada. They can't seek Asylum in america because they were in canada first
2025-02-23 0
Trump better send the Indian and Chinese nationals crossing from Canada to gitmo, that’ll teach them. Also end visa free border crossing with Canada.
2025-02-23 2
Why would they want to leave ??. Canada is far better off than The USA ??

Please stay away from Canada I moved here and I regret it every day. I'm a citizen through my parents and getting my certificate took YEARS which stopped me from being able to go to school or work which means years of my adult life wasted that could have been put to much better use for something that wasn't even my fault. I also lost good opportunities too because of it!!!! Not happy especially since I genuinely needed the money. I won't forgive Canada for that. Also everything here is really expensive and the selection is just not very good. Also work opportunities are not as good as in the US. Anyways I finally got my certificate and got my life started up again just over 2 years ago, but I still often think of returning to the US after just being here for 4.5 years. I now warn some of my US friends not to go to Canada just for the hype if they mention it. I also know of a friend who moved here and left after 1 year, they came to hate it here.

Canada's flaws are better then the flaws in the US...

It's disturbinv that one aaid healthcare quality is better in America. Canada'z must be in real trouble, because doctors in poverty-stricken Ethiopia aay American healthcare is the worst they have seen.\n\nYou are told it is the best in the world. It is terrible.

I lived in Montana for five years moving from Ontario Canada. I returned after five years because your legal system is a joke. Healthcare is so expensive living in Canada’s way. Better get free healthcare which to me is the number one top thing.Canada has free health care everyone in need can get welfare low income housing the disabled have disabled people a paycheque each month that covers their bills and food costs. I came back when I had my daughter her dad‘s in Montana. I am in Canada now. I lived there for five years and the people are very judgmental. I find and drugs are so much more accessible in the US. I found the racism just blunt in the US Like people don’t even try to hide it jobs in Montana at that time I was making three dollars an hour minimum wage when we were getting paid $10 an hour in Canada at that time so minimum wage is way higher

This is what USA thinks. The truth is, Canada has been on the list of better places to live in the world many years in a row. The USA has never been on that list.\nCanada is for people who wants to work and earn their living. We are not an easy touch like other countries.\nWe also don't dumb down educational systems so as to make it easy for governments to pull the wool over their citizen's eyes. Only the greedy do that.\nWe know that everyone who live here in Canada must shoulder the cost of the benefits of living here and to work together to prosper.\nChris Biggar , Proud Canadian

My observation of Canada is that the people are generally friendlier, the streets are generally cleaner, the food is generally healthier, the atmosphere is generally more chill, and the people are generally more intelligent. America has turned stupid because of social media pushing MAGA. We are now run by oligarchs who are trying to kill our democracy, and they are backed by a bunch of boneheaded Christian theocrats who are banning books and banning words and banning our free press. If you are INTELLIGENT, you would be better off in Canada.

I’m an old stock Canadian senior. The Canada I grew up in during the 1960s and 70s was not some sort of fictional story, it was truly a better society than we see today. It was the envy of the world. My dad who never finished high school had a decent unionized job in a factory, and on that one income could buy a house, raise a family and made a comfortable middle class life. Sure it wasn’t perfect, but it was much better than what we see today.

0.7% of Canadians are moving to the USA and we have a housing crisis here too. Kamala Harris had a plan to fix housing but now we got trump so what we have is tariffs, expensive eggs and the gulf of America. between Canada and the usa I'd wager that Canada is better in terms of housing

The US could have a better system than Canada, 10 to 15 cents per gallon of gas and diesel would cover you. However elective surgeries would be the responsibilities of the patient.

History is always favourable to the immigrants. Be it N&S America, India or anywhere in this world only difference is timeline. Australia was the dumping ground of the white criminals. India absorbed 40 million Bangladeshis, 10 million Nepalis much more bigger population than canada. Make yourself fitter for survival, learn to live within means but thrive for better. Whining is not the answer.

The strength depends on abuse of visa. Indians abuse rate of visa is very high. Illegal migration is high. In US Indians are number 2 in illegals behind only Mexico. Story is same in canada, new zealand, australia, UK and other western countries.\nwhen we abuse the visa then what do you expect !!\nSorry elite indians may think India is a super power but the reality is India is a poor nations and people are willing to do anything for a better life

Let me take your story further. There been a number of suicides amongst Indian students, some have been hooked on drugs, some girls have turned to prostitution and many girls have been sexually take advantage by their Indian / Punjabi landlords and employers. The situation is dire. My advice: Stay in India, the education is better, the social life is better, the food is better, the vibe is better. Money is not everything. Being happy is. Canada has cleaner air, water & streets but the cost is very high. It's a struggle not just for immigrants or students, it's hard for locals. To buy an average detached home (bungalow) in Toronto / Vancouver is over C$1 million. To qualify for a mortgage with 20% down payment, one would need an income of $200,000. FYI, that's a doctors salary.

I get it they need a place but do you think Canadians born here deserve better?\nWhen a homeless Canadian with mental illness needs a shelter they shouldn't be turned down, sadly not enough room is right but someone who is born and native to Canada should get dibs on tons of stuff, I heard canada will turn down new ones but if a refugee wants to travel back home please stay back home.

Canada ?? is losing it's reputation as a welcoming ? country for international students/migrants, particularly to Indians, due to high inflation, lack of accommodations, lack of jobs, Racism etc . This is mainly because of too many immigrants who have landed into the country after the Covid. \nIt is better that Indians think twice before embarking a journey to Canada ??.

Reading all the comments and thinking if the effort of staying permanently is worth it! I am from Iran, have been studying here for 2 years, and reading all these disappointed comments makes me think deeply! I think it would be wiser to compare the Canada to other countries “now”. Comparing Canada to its own past and thinking of moving to another country because it’s better, doesn’t make sense. I am sure many countries are going through the same situation !

Last time Trump was in power, he said he'd work on making it cheaper for Americans to get healthcare.\n\nWhat he did was make it easier for Americans to do what's called Health Tourism, and go to Canada for cheaper medication and healthcare.\n\nThis time around, he's claiming Canadians want to become American because we want the US healthcare system.\n\nIf that was the case, why would he make it easier for US citizens to go to Canada for healthcare and pharmaceuticals during his first term if the US healthcare system was better than the Canadian's healthcare?

Trump has made me love my country more than ever! Canada is better than America!!!

Come to Canada. Our Liberal govnt will accept all Indians including those who don’t know how to use a toilet but do it on our beaches. Better hurry, as they may no longer be in power.

canada has indians and they are canadian not transplants. go back to your 3rd world country and make canada a better place like it use to be.

Its corporate greed which has trickled down into all areas of life. Rents, property values etc etc. No government can fix it in a democracy because capitalism gives greed the platform. Record profits during covid says it all. Recessions give a partial temporary reboot and depressions are devastating and take a long time to recoup from. I live in a rural small town, retired, own my house and debt free . Low property tax and affordable housing and rents but in the Maritimes. Cities are the worst to survive in. I feel for all that are struggling but Canada is a great country and better than most but one must be willing to relocate to areas that they can afford to live in and still have steady work.

I also hear from blacks that they love Canada as black people are treated better there than here in America. Whites are a minority in Canada. There are more Chinese than anyone else there.

We have a better life in India . \nEarning 1 lakh in India you are happy which is equal to 4 lakhs in Canada still u r cheque to cheque in a freezing cold temp . \nHealth care is good but waiting is too much

It is specially difficult to afford life in the coutry they are in when most of the money they are earning they send it all back to India . They live working and looking for money to make life better in India . Many Indians are not really settleling or planning a future in Canada or USA their country that they think of as home is India .
