The U.S. has a massive economic advantage over Canada in any trade war—no debate. The U.S. economy is 10x bigger, and Canada relies on American trade way more than the other way around. The idea that they have 'leverage' is just political posturing. They can slap tariffs on select U.S. industries to try and cause some pain, but in the long run, they *will* lose. Their leaders just don’t want to look weak, so they act like they’re standing firm when in reality, they’ve already been pushed off the cliff. The U.S. can outlast them easily.

Fewer people are vacationing south. Prime Minister Trudeau mentioned Old Orchard Beach as one of those places. A place where my family since early 1900s travelled to. That’s how long just my family has been connected with the US and my American cousins.

I voted for Trump but strongly disagree with these Tarrifs.The administration has a limited timeframe to encourage foreign investment in U.S. manufacturing. I have been a pro-America citizen for almost 79 years, but our administration is dead wrong. Canada is the best neighbor we could possibly have, and we have slapped them in the face.
