Caribbean restaurants are notorious for having poor service, irregular hours, poor hygiene, long wait times, inconsistent food etc. I've seen them come and go by the dozens and it's sad bc so many of them have really great, whole food (nothing processed) for a decent cost but the reason they can't stay open has more to do with work ethic and business management than patronage. \n\nWe have a huge caribbean community and the locals love the food too but once u get attached to one of these places, they disappear a few months later. Jamaicans especially, Trinidadians seem to be able to make the business side work better.

I've had stereotype experience too in stores, jobs interviews, clinics, restaurants, kiosk, even hospitals. All places are all biased and this all depends on one person who wrongly judged another person. Sometimes favoritism plays a part of it too.\nIt's like no escape from it.

I went to canada with my family when i was 6 years old i thought it was so beautiful the native americans treated us with kindness my dad bought me some moccisens there. A chinese immagrant restaurant owner was nice to us the white people many of them wrent very nice this was in 1969 in the summer but i loved the wilderness and wanted to go back and see the indians. I was a dreamer. Unfortenately and through my own fault after i got out of the military honerably discharged . I got a dui again it was my stupidity but i payed my fine did my jail time and got educated about not drinking and driving. It is not a felony i the US but it is in Canada so canada gets ahold of my driving records maybe they hacked in. And said i could not go into canada. I noticed they let george w. Busch in though oh well i dont think canada even pretends fainess under the law . Any way they are now letting elligals into canada and giving them a hotel room . The duplicity is absurd personally i no longer want to go to canada for anything i think the wall should be put on the northern border. I am a hotel management Grad In India. Brother, I have done internships 12 hours straight in 5 stars unpaid. after 3 years I am a restaurant manager now. Still, after all these years my job profile consists of standing 10 hours on foot and working. It's the same in India. People think that living in foreign countries us good and relaxing and you enjoy a lot. Well this is not true. I have one of my friends who told me the way he lives and works and studies in Canada. Believe me, you won't like to hear what he told me. He does two part time jobs starting from morning to afternoon at 3 and does another one from 4 to 8 and he barely gets 4 to 5 hours to study. At times when there are exams or tests in the college, he has to skip the work and go to the College but when he skips, he feels from deep inside that for today I don't have even this amount of money and believe me, staying in Canada or any other county is not as easy as eating a plate of rice and on the first time when you go to look for a job, you will get it at McDonald's or any type of restaurants. And the work my friend does is to cut meat at McDonald's in Canada.

Main reason easy to find Gujarati foods and other vegetarian food. Tons of pure vegetarian Indian restaurants in Brampton.\n\nGreat feelings come when you are tried and don’t want to cook and at same time don’t want to eat in restaurants then home-cooked food is always available to your neighbourhood for just 6-7 dollar.

The U.S a country of over 4 hundred millions people need to be more careful about these frauds because we have more than enough people now. Nobody really cares about your complaints, so dont call into a company to yell and scream, just cancel the service and go with another company\n9. Go with your gut feeling, sometimes you do not feel like leaving the house, just don't.\n10. In general, try to be with friends and go to places where you feel safe.

What a great show. I wish there was a black celebration centre in every big city in Canada. It's wonderful to share this information with my children although it is not enough. Also, Jamaican restaurants are always empty in BC. I always wonder why the food is so good and the restaurants are empty. The chairs need to be comfortable and I like it when there is already a table or two of people (it's like a testimonial without words...) You could perhaps let a table of people eat for free if they stay there all day - it would help.

So I'm from a town in Ireland with a small hotel, a few years ago the government bought it and moved immigrants in overnight (literally in the middle of the night). It is still run like a hotel with cleaning services and restaurant but the occupants also receive government income. (meanwhile we are seeing an increase in local homelessness every year) Anyways I recently heard a story from someone who works for social services who collected a woman and her few kids from the hotel to drive them down the road to the new four bedroom house they were being given. When they arrived at the house the woman asked what days the cleaner would be over, the person driving said that she wouldn't have a cleaner anymore this was her house so she would be responsible for minding it. The woman put her kids back in the car and demanded they take her straight back to the hotel. So yeah, hotels may not be the greatest immigration solution.

The Illegals stay for free in the hotel. They receive restaurant payment cards for 3 meals per day. They work for cash on the local construction site never contributing to the Canadian economy.

Everyone knows very well and don’t want to say that there is a multi billion cheap labor industry in the US ( restaurant, hotels, hospitals, construction, nannies, landscaping, farming etc etc) that want to keep immigrants illegal in order to manipulate, exploit and then control their vote! it's not the religion.... it's the mac's convenience and the corner stores selling tropicana juice for 6 bucks a liter. It's the family oriented hiring policies and the rural area stores being bought and not offering fishing bait, ice or firewood but instead offering dollar store fishing lures for 20 bucks. it's the electronic stores that sell tape decks and old CD players. The stuff that really makes a bad impression is when a muslim family buys a Pizza Pizza or a subway and then changes the restaurant so that there is no where to be seated and the food is processed by someone who won't look me in the eye once and speaks a language that I can't understand to an employer about my sandwich and i will never know what the problem was. I feel like my spanish and native friends treat me the same as them. I feel like the scottish guy who hates me for not waking up at 5 in the morning is only mad because i'm not working as hard as him.
