There are a lot of fraud agencies in Punjab and Delhi and they let these guys come in with fake IELTS scores. Why is Canada not checking them at the point of entry? Deny entry if they can't speak English properly for example. That is the biggest scam going on at the moment and I'm sorry but I do not feel bad if Canada send these guys back to India. We don't want them either but atleast they were born here!

You know why? because rich immigrants who benefited from bribes, money laundrying, illegal business all go to Canada where lacks high competitiveness, such as U.S., so talented and skilled workers can't find a proper well-paid position inside Canada while paying unproportional living expenses. Obviously government benefits from easy money brought abroad. In a nutshell, it's a heaven for the rich.

How is the government failing immigrants? Why move to another country if you don't have money to begin with? If your goal when moving to another country is receiving governement checks then you shouldn't be moving countries. They failed themselves by not adequately preparing themselves for such a big move in life. Moving countries costs a lot of money, doing so without proper funds is just foolhardy and they are to blame, not the government.

Get a boat, plane or train ! Back home they go ! They have the right to re-apply legally,properly like everyone else !!! At a later date!!!

The truth they are not here for studies but for work…i dont even understand how they passed the English language assessment because some of them dont speak english properly. Please do not let anyone on a study visa with an IELTS score below 7 in each of the sections, also test the students at the border on behavior and other Psychology related issues. This will ensure proper candidates are allowed, who know English and can speak it comfortably. Also train the existing students on skills required to contribute to Canadian labor market that too free of cost, this is due to lack of proper course curriculum required for the labor needs of Canada and practical training availability. Immigration is not just a money making machine, there has to be a vision and proper planning before brining in millions of immigrants who will eventually settle here, but their productivity and integration should bring long term benefits to the economy as is expected from a great nation like Canada.

Illegal migrants should not be allowed to stay in Canada unless they are properly vetted. Canada is experiencing too many criminal activities.

It is mostly the fault of the incompliant and corrupt Liberal government for the massive influx of unskilled India workers/students. Under previous sane governments, there were manageable caps that controlled the influx and allowed for proper immigration of vetted and skilled workers, but the Liberals stopped properly vetting people and basically opened the flood gates. For a Canadian company to hire foreign workers, they used to have to prove there were no Canadian workers to do that job, so foreign workers were mostly used in seasonal agriculture work, but due to very shady government deals with big corporations Trudeau approved paying wage subsidy and turning a blind eye to Canadian workers so Singh Hortons (and many other big businesses) could have workers for a cut rate and the government tax dollars paid up to 70% of wages and welfare. Also Foreign workers think they can stay here once their visa's expire, refusing to leave. There is simply no need for Canada to bring in over a million Indians that are in hard times in their own country. Our welfare or culture can't stand it. Not sure if you missed it or not, but India's foreign minister at the start of summer, thanked Trudeau for taking all their criminals, and low caste people. But People need to follow proper immigration policy, and not buy a ticket to Canada from a India scammer guaranteeing citizenship, which has been the case as well. Many who come were clearly NOT properly vetted as they are dangerous criminals. Most of the “students” have no intention of returning to India and came to stay indefinitely & feel entitled to do so. They are not even proper students. Some of them who work 18 hours a day, told me that their home assignments are done by others and they do their assignments.
