Canada has more lakes than its human population. Just a large landmass does not make a real country. With only a fraction of the U.S. population of 350 million, Canada could be vulnerable in trade disputes. To be more influential globally, it would need about 150 million people, achievable only through immigration, which would inevitably impact cultural traditions.

The mindset that people give up there traditions come from the culture-less, for example go to Japan, Japanese people are cool, but they don’t want you to be Japanese, go to Italy, Italians are cool, but they don’t want you to be Italian, go to Canada, Canadians are cool, but they want you to be Canadian??? ?

Proud dual citizen Canadian here. Love the country, people and culture. However, the Liberal politics of the last 9 years have been a disaster, from high inflation, uncontrolled immigration, lack of pro business investments, homelessness, housing… this is to list just a few issues. The same thing has been happening in the US and Western Europe. Thank you God for helping elect Donald Trump. Many on this forum may not like the guy, but he was before, and will be good for the country, economy, overall people of the US and indirectly Canada. The Trudeau gang must go, a monkey could do a better job governing this beautiful Canada than that moron Trudeau. Do you all remember him saying…. “ the budget will balance itself”…. WTF… Really Justin???

Canada - Ontario was really great. I came from latinoamerica, and Canada was into real diversity. Now, I feel like getting pushed out of the province, not from Canadians but by Indians. I am moving from Ontario because of this. ? I love Canada ?? but I am getting tired of this. Is the culture, the manners, you name it. I don't want to hate certain people, but I hate the actual situation.

See, I know this is wrong. But we have to be honest I am an Indian but moved to America. I stayed in New Jersey and the environment we created there is absurd. We made the place dirty, uncivilized behaviour and the list is long. This is happening in Canada too. Canadians identify everyone as Indians but the major problem they have is with Khalistanis. They have become a menace, gun violence, crimes and a shit ton of things done by these people. There is always a reaction and it is unfortunate that the innocent ones has to face the reaction. We Indians only look at the good ones as an example when it comes to Indian immigrants, but the chaos and misconduct is created by the rest of the uncivilized Indians who are huge in Numbers. My experience girlfriend was Canadian, her mother owned a departmental store she caught and called cops on many occasions were our peyare caught on camera stealing, damaging the store and also peeing right in the corner of the store. I saw all these footage. The major problem with Canada is most of the Indian immigrants that went there were uneducated and directly went to Canada from Indian villages, it's a cultural shock for them and during the initial period everyone behaved in a uncivilized manner. Please understand the root cause of the issue. If I am a guest at your house and keep on causing harm to your home and if this keeps on repeating you will end up frustrated.

Liberals think it's racism if you don't let everyone into our country. The economy can't accommodate mass immigration, we don't have housing and it's a cultural strain bringing their historic hate to Canada.
|

Canada, you need to WAKE UP. Ive visited toronto and montreal for the nightlife scene and it was a blast before they started coming in mass. Cultural diversity is great but this is basically taking over a country without a single shot being fired. This silent invasion of mass indians needs to stop. I too am an immigrant but at least in my culture, we dont disrespect other cultures boundaries like that by shoving flags into peoples faces, putting loud music in public. Thats just gonna piss alot of people off. I have friends of all colors but it comes to the point enough is ENOUGH. Canada THINK FAST and bring back the energy

Stop Indians, both legal and illegal. They are like a snake, will live in your country but will criticise your culture, criticise your religion, bring their own rituals and castism and later their country will influence to open temples which has an agenda to propogate hates towards other and increase hindu network. Canada is a good example

crap Punjabis (taxi walas) destroyed rich culture of Canada ; Trudo is not a good leader to foresee the cultural damage by over-immigrating a particular category people
|
| 2024-11-09 | 0 |
What a shame....we have such channels also....Canada is favourite destination of escapist youths of Punjab...they are unwilling to educate and work in fields...workers from other states work in their fields...the Khali-stani movement has destroyed the investment chances in Punjab...first set your house in order , educate and increase job opportunities..most important elect a sensible government...Canada is a decaying nation..drugs and woke culture is the order of the day....\nMOST SHOCKING IS...WHY DO YOUNGSTERS FROM PUNJAB WANT TO LEAVE THEIR PARENTS BEHIND AND RUN AWAY....THE CHEAPEST THING IS THE SEEK POLITICAL ASYLUM AND TAKE UP MENIAL TASKS....SET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER...
|
| 2024-11-09 | 0 |
Half of Punjab migrating to Canada is not good for country's well being!!! Studies r mostly scams! U ppl go there for nice car and nice house and freebies!!! Then ruin authentic Canada culture with blemished unruly punjabi culture and ppl originally from Canada can't voice protests because of woke trolls! Just admit study in canada is a front to immigrate there! Those crappy courses don't warrant travelling all the way to that country leaving home!!!!! Pathetic
|
| 2024-11-08 | 0 |
Well it's his woke and dei scheme that is hurting Canada and will continue to create a divide I'd hw is not removed...Canada...USA...Europe are mostly white nations and their traditions..way of live should be respected and assimilated by newcomers instead of changing its social cultural scape which I the end creates ghettos ( product of multiculturalism) instead of a true confederation. In no way is Canada ready to receive a way of welfare applicants although they will replace the international students not coming in duew to new changes. Will this never end...no more $ for foreign wars or immigrants doe the moment. Please use the money on real needs we fave now!..if we are the electors.. can't we also remove....?

When we immigrated to Canada we had to pass english exams, health checks and paid a lot of money. We came here and are grateful to be here. We did not come here to demand that our culture and religion be respected. We gave this up. If they can just walk across the border then all those who paid should get there money back.\nWe did not demand any help. We worked our buts off to make it work.
|
| 2024-11-07 | 0 |
We can't ALLOW this to happen.... Canada is already, basically,a middle eastern country.... CANADASTAN....this is now becoming dangerous...they are starting to bring their wars to Canada....we must return to our beautiful, peaceful culture.... remove TRUDEAU now!!

There is no mini Punjab, is Brampton, is Canada. When we moved to canada we decide Live as Canadians. We respect Canadian culture, citizens and neigorhoods why try change that?, if you missed a lot go back to your country! We have to keep clear this is not our native country, here are many cultures and them could no be agree with ours and yours. So live you culture in your house but not force everybody to stant and accept yours. Its just a matter of society respect.

Trudeau is Turning peaceful and cultured Canada into Battlefield , unfortunate Canadians will Suffer for Long now......

I don't know very much about Indian Culture, but as a Canadian, I Blame our government more than I blame Indian People. The Government allowed this to begin with, I can't blame Indian people for taking advantage, as much as any other culture or people that would be invited to Canada, to begin with.
|
| 2024-11-03 | 0 |
We just want a complete ban on immigration from India specially from Punjab and deportation of those who are already entered Canada by unfair means. One million Indian Deportation will solve Canada's 90% problems . They have destroyed everything in Canada including its beautiful culture.
|
| 2024-11-03 | 0 |
Very true, it's not racism. It's more your culture that we don't want. I had to yell at two indian women throwing a mattress away on the sidewalk! I told them that they can pull that shit off in India, but not here in Canada!
|
| 2024-11-03 | 1 |
I came to Canada in 2019 and Back in the day Christmas, and Halloween used to be so fun but now not anymore because of multi culture. Everything unique about Canada start dying. Just like the movie back in the day are so good. But now everything become woke.

After Hardeep Singh Nijjar's assassination on Canadian soil, Canadian Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister David Morrison, along with the RCMP, presented evidence to India in meetings held in Singapore. Supporting allegations that India’s government had links to the killing.
\nAlso Canadian RCMP Commissioner Mike Duheme said the force's Deputy Commissioner tried to share evidence with Indian police, but was rebuffed.
\nCanada also sought India's agreement to revoke the diplomatic immunity of the six diplomats (possible criminals) so they could be interviewed, but India refused. Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly said India's refusal to co-operate is why Canada declared the six diplomats persona non grata, which is one of the stiffest penalties Canada can impose under the Vienna Convention.
\n
\nAnd now a country with over a billion people is badmouthing Canada. Canada, one of the top 10 most peaceful and kindhearted and law abiding countries on Earth! How do you think this makes Canadians feel?
\nWith stuff like this, Canadians (including Asian Canadians) are getting more and more upset. It’s not hate. It’s not racism. It’s a normal reaction to an influx of any culture that doesn’t assimilate and blend to a country’s culture and way of living, including rules and conduct norms.

I also came to Canada in 2006 as an immigrant with my 2 bags and started my new life with empty handed which almost all Indians had started on their time. Yes it’s very hard to adopt other cultures 100% for first generation. But have you think how this new immigrants have their own house and good jobs or business. Why their kids achieved higher education without any loan because their parents worked 7 days without looking around so called culture. They believe in work hard and focus on their family and kids and in extra time visit temple or Gurudwara just to keep live their believes. Do you know how many places where you find 3 times free hot food for everyone in Brampton at Gurudwara and Temple without looking at his originality. \nDon’t think the immigrants are coming here are poor in their country or helpless like refugees. Most of are millionaires in India but in Indian culture the stupid thoughts is to earn for next 7 generations so because of that greediness they work here 7 days and that’s why they are not homeless. As they have some values of their Indian culture they have not drug addictions.\nNot 100% Indian are good and loyal or honest. There are few which you can find in any culture or religion.\nSo in bottom line immigrants are here because of govt policies and invitations. They are not came as refugees. You can’t forced anyone where they have to stay and in how many percentage. Many people don’t live in GTA or ran away from GTA because they can’t afford house and can’t stand in competitive market. Government should skilled own citizen or make more powerful before invite highly skilled immigrants from other countries otherwise new immigrants will take jobs from original and that will be continued with us too.

Don't be violent. Don't be rude. Celebrate your culture by inviting your community to sample food, music, fashion, etc of your native homeland. Obey the law of this land. Volunteer. Pitch in and bring the best of your culture to Canada and all will be well.

Immigrants speaking about Immigrants. The last trailer thrash speaking crap about Sikh temple shows the Cultural value of the so called Canadians. It's how they are raised and that is one of the reason that most of the Indians live in Brampton. There are good people and there are people in all the world. If you think Canada is a Clean country and having good people only then look at the history and check out what your leaders used to do. So don't blame immigrants because the base of Canada is established on immigrants.

This guy is right for the most part. A gov't telling the world to come in and not integrate or learn English is a big part of the problem. Then there are Indians who exploit Indians overseas. The thing too is the bad people coming now get so much free stuff. The rest of the immigrants who built this country had no programs yet have to pay for the newcomers who are changing the country. So some things aren't the Indians fault. The rest of us who came and adapted now face discrimination from newcomers and our own people who say Canada has no culture. I come from a time when foreigners got along for the most part. Now so many groups that all hate each other. We came here to get away from the crappy people in our country but now they have followed us here and turn the good land bad.

Yes, white people came to the new world and conquered the natives. For the next few hundred years they built western society as we know it. They were immigrants from different places, but they were mostly homogeniously white, and more importantly, they had commonality in their social norms, holidays, cultures, laws and religion. Mostly English, Irish, Scottish, French, German, polish, etc. -- they blended well and eventually created their own unique shared identities in Canada and United States. Things were stable and people were happy. Immigrants continued to flow, but in smaller numbers over greater lengths of time. This allowed time for integration, learning the common language, finding decent employment and housing, ect. Then Immigrants from vastly different cultures started arriving and in greater numbers, and greater rates... Job availability, housing, educational/medical services, travel infratructure could not keep pace with the sheer speed and amount of people flooding in. Therefore, everything and everyone suffered, and it isn't stopping.

Canada should be boycotted by all citizens of other countries, racist Culture???
|
| 2024-10-27 | 0 |
I heard on my visit to Canada earlier this year for vacation the same thing, BUT you talked to Canadians who were obviously unemployed/with no skills and homeless (at least it seemed like that, my apologies if that was not the case. All immigrants should respect the local law and do not impose their culture in adopted land. I believe that Indians come to Brampton because they find their own kind of people there and feel that they will not feel any racism, mind you it happens everywhere. Racism in parts of Canada is very much there. \nI stayed in Toronto with a friend and noticed almost 99% of tenants there were chinese, and no one was speaking English. Would like you to interview there as well.

Next videos is about Bulgaria, at least moving to. Not many live better there vs in Canada. Making money from a business started in Canada then investing in Bulgaria it's another thing which might be successful for you in particular. However you'll learn a saying from Balkans very quickly: never spit in the well you are still going to drink water from, maybe later (Canada).\nThere are several advantages though: climate, cost of living, taxes, food, Slavic culture. Particularly you can already read, understand Bulgarian language being fluent in Russian language.\nYou'll need a slight practice to achieve fluency.

I agree with the woman talking about adapting to the culture in the country you’re in. ABSOLUTELY CORRECT but do note that these Indians are not coming for free, on average close to 90,000 Indian Students come to Canada to study with an average 2 year program, and each one of them spends at least CAD 40,000 for each year! Now if you do the math they inject about 3.6 Billion dollars every year! Which makes International student one of the top 10 source of revenue for Canada! That is the hard reality check for anyone who thinks these Indians in Canada are all undeserving people.....they just compete better than most white Canadians in their home ground whilst quite literally in every stretch there are more facilities available to Native Canadians then there are for the people of international origin: International students' annual spending directly and indirectly contributed CAN$7.4 billion in tax revenue for the Canadian government. The study is based on study permit data from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2022, as well as data from Languages Canada to capture short-term students.

Immigration is ongoing Colonization. And Canadians are MAD, because you have allowed for people from countries with HIGH RATES of pro-sexually violent cultural views, and low standards of hygiene and politeness into our country. And you let them come here as students and take up first world spots for first world Canadians. And FYI, there is tons of sexual violence on university campuses…so that tracks.
\nYou let these people who are anti-dark skin into the country, and then you say because they are “racialized” they can’t be racist. That’s not how racism works, and I want my racists to be domestic, because then at least we share a cultural thread of unity: Canadian born and raised. Why are we being subjected to this B.S??
\nGOC has not created a way for us to report immigrants who are rude or abusive to Canadians, and who have over-stayed their visas. DEPORT THEM. When they commit crimes, instead of deporting them, you let them stay. They’re old women are also crooks and in on it. Imagine bringing the people who call and scam from Indian and Nigeria to Canada so they can just do it from here. Wild. And the Chinese (not Asians, I mean the Chinese)…are the colonizers of their part of the world, AND they cheat in schools. So you’re giving graduates spots to cheaters, liars, anti-Canadian, and racists. Canada never had a diversity problem, we had a supremacy problem, and we still do. And Canadian DOES NOT MEAN WHITE. So stop making this a race thing.
\nYou let them snap up our houses and our land and jack up the prices, and force us into homelessness and prostitution to pay rent, and into drug addictions because of a lack of purpose. So the GOC literally just implemented the same strategy they used to place indigenous people onto reserves, but now it’s for all Canadians. And make no mistake: high rents for bento-box “luxury”/rat infested housing are min-reserves that are not built for Canadian bodies or our aging/disabled population.
\nDEPORT THEM AND REFRAIN FROM GIVING THESE ANCHOR BABIES CITIZENSHIP. If they come here to have their babies, instead of giving them a Canadian birth certificate, you should be getting that certificate from their consulate. Cause at this point that’s just trafficking and financial fraud/abuse. We all know they come here to get the benefits and the domestic tuition, and a lot go right back to China. And it does seem to be the Chinese, Indians, and Nigerians (a lovely EDI mix) of thieves.
\nCanada has spoken, we don’t want them, we don’t like them; and they do not like us, they want us out of our own country. This isn’t a racial issue; this is a cultural issue. You cannot have these anti-West people in our western nation. They gotta go. And who cares about the international students anymore or the money “they bring in”. Universities are registered not-for-profits in Canada, so the for-profit argument can’t track.
\nCanada needs a RICO law so we can more easily seize their assets and expel them, and hold universities to the fire for this crap, and the government officials getting kickbacks. The GOC is the largest human trafficking pimps, and the universities are bottom bi***es. And don’t think we don’t know that the 30% cap DOESN’T apply to companies like Navitas who recruit for the universities, are housed in the universities, but are separate, private companies.

If you’re navigating the permanent residency (PR) process for Canada, Australia, or Germany, preparing for winter and understanding residency requirements are key aspects of your transition. Canadian winters are particularly harsh, with temperatures frequently dropping below 0°C, while Australia and Germany offer a range of climates. Picking the right winter jacket can make a big difference, especially when moving to regions with unpredictable weather. This guide covers essential insights on winter preparation and the PR process for Canada, Australia, and Germany.
\nPreparing for Winter
\nWhen considering permanent residency in Canada, Australia, or Germany, understanding climate differences is crucial. Whether you're working with Canada PR consultants, Australian PR consultants, or Germany PR consultants, preparation for varied climates will help ensure a smoother transition. Here’s what to keep in mind:
\n1.\tExpected Temperatures: In Canada, cities like Vancouver are milder with wet winters, while Toronto faces colder, often icy conditions. Regions in central and northern Canada have extreme lows, such as -19°C in Regina during January. Germany has varied winter climates, while Australia’s milder winters can still feel chilly in certain regions.
\n2.\tChoosing the Right Jacket: For newcomers, warm, waterproof, and windproof jackets are essential for Canadian winters. Parkas, puffer jackets, and wool coats are ideal for different climates across Canada, Germany, and Australia. Parkas offer heavy insulation and water resistance, while puffer jackets are versatile and suited for layering. Wool coats add style but lack water resistance, making them suitable for drier German winters.
\n3.\tTypes of Insulation: When relocating, especially through global talent streams in Canada, Australia, or Germany, picking jackets with appropriate insulation—down for warmth or synthetic for water resistance—is recommended for your first winter abroad.
\n4.\tBudget Considerations: Budget options start at around $50, while high-end brands such as Canada Goose or Arc'teryx offer premium options for harsh winters. Mid-range choices from brands like The North Face provide a balance between quality and cost.
\nNavigating the PR Process and Requirements
\nEach country has unique pathways and requirements for permanent residency. Consulting with professionals who specialize in Canada immigration, Australia immigration, or Germany immigration can streamline the process, especially if you're applying from India or seeking a provincial nomination (like BCPNP or MPNP for Canada).
\n•\tCanada PR Process: Canada offers various pathways for PR, including express entry, provincial nominee programs (e.g., BCPNP, MPNP, NBPMP), and spousal sponsorship. These programs have specific criteria, such as work experience, language proficiency, and educational qualifications. Consultants can guide you through each step, from document preparation to application submission.
\n•\tAustralia PR Process: Australia's PR pathways, like the Skilled Migration Program, allow skilled professionals to work and live in Australia. The Global Talent Stream in Australia also targets specialized talent in fields such as tech and medicine, easing the immigration process for qualified individuals.
\n•\tGermany PR Process : Germany offers options like the EU Blue Card and employment-based visas, making it possible for skilled workers to obtain residency. Consultants can assist with the application process and explain requirements like work contracts and proof of language proficiency.
\nStudying and Working Abroad
\nCountries like Canada, Australia, and Germany provide work and study opportunities for immigrants, making it easier to gain local experience. Programs for study and work facilitate cultural adjustment and open pathways to PR. Immigration consultants can help identify the best routes to achieve your career and residency goals, whether in education, employment, or both.
\nImmigrating to a new country means facing unique challenges, from adapting to climate to understanding immigration requirements. Proper winter attire ensures you stay comfortable as you settle in, and expert immigration advice helps navigate complex residency processes. With the right preparation, you can embrace your new life abroad with confidence.

Diversity wasn't our strength, Canadian values were. Don't ever let anyone tell you canada doesn't have culture. We had a bright culture of men bejng men, woman being woman, kindness, kindness to your fellow neighbour's, pride our national game of hocker. Love of winter and al things nature related. We are the north, and that was the culture we built in for generations. Immigrants need to to adapt and learn our culture that's why you can't let in That many from ones country all at once. They never assimilate they just make pockets of India everywhere.

Dominik Tarczynski Poland law & Justice Minister is what we need here in Canada because of our mentally challenged and unhinged government who dont care about Canada and its home grown people, we have to totally tear down the immigration department and STOP MIGRANTS we dont need them they surpress the economy, housing , jobs and dont respect our culture and heritage its the immigrants WAKE UP we have to put a permanent freeze on this we have to rid this Government and make Canada great and Re-Christianise Canada and nske strong families Stop sexualizing children in schools Stop transgenders and make stronger laws against them snd specializing if the children we should learn a thing or two from Poland , CANADA STOP IMMIGRATION NOW!!
|
| 2024-10-25 | 0 |
From my perspective: we should not be allowed to run for government positions or policies, education should not have separate schools for different cultures. What i mean for government if yoy make things easy to take power we can destroy this country easily or place our own power we have other countries that did the same in history that are now no longer same. If your moving to Canada you should adopt to be part of its rules, laws, cultures. I moved here and happy to be part of this country and to be a citizen. I will share food, music or art but dont involve others
|
| 2024-10-25 | 0 |
Only if those immigrants will adapt and respect canadian culture. We will have np. But majority especially Indians they stay indian and now canada looks like ?. They can't respect canada like they were given then opportunity to live and work in canada. But idiots dont want to adapt. And you have arab refugees that are protesting they forgot how canada help them. And you have black africans who keep stealing cars and crime rates are very high.

As FRENCH, I think it is more an issue with policies set by both governments!!! You know you bring students IN and why don’t you build houses and encourage construction???? In France, many students (mainly Africa, and French departments like Guadeloupe, Tahiti or Martinique) come to study there (for free and we are proud of it!!!) BUT - unlike Canada - we do NOT have the same issues as Canada (our healthcare is NOT under pressure and our housing prices haven’t really increased that much as compared to Canada for example!!!) to me, the students are NOT to blame!!! It is the fault of the deciders (at different level) who have FAILED to set the right policies!!!! The schools are also to blame as some (not all) are so obsessed with making profits out of the higher international fees, which by way, subsidize Canadian students!!! So in Canada (not in France or Germany), the money that allows schools to function come from international students who BRING LOTS OF MONEY for the Canadian economy!!!! in France, it is different as the universities are FREE and are fully subsidized by the French government… but yes;) you have to speak French fluently to attend them!!! \nSo dear Canadians, do not blame foreign students thanks to whom your universities thrive and remain existant!!! Without them (namely the Indians too), the Canadian universities will struggle to find money and funding! Remember, the system in France is TOTALLY different!!!!\nAlso, reading from comments, I notice that many here have NEVER alert their own country!!! Stop blaming foreigners if YOU, YOURSELF DID NOT even get the BALLS to dare studying in places different than yours (like Germany, France, Sweden, Japan…)!!!! Blame and NO BALLS!!! “Grosse gueule mais Pas de couilles” as we say in France!!! Go to Europe if you dare, deal with another language, other cultural codes (we French are big complainers and are very very rude when behind wheels!!!! And we hate people who cannot speak French properly … like North Americans) and We will see how good some of you will do!!!

Why now ? Is the Liberal Government afraid the balance tilt in favour of the opposition party ? \nWhy to ban educated people, who share our culture and values, with good command of one of the official languages, to enter the country ? \n ....after importing by the millions those who are the opposite and are not interested in building Canada, but taking advantage of us and our generous system ?\nToo little too late trudy... even if you get the election by fraud again. You guys have already lost in the hearts and minds of Canadians ... for ever
|
| 2024-10-23 | 0 |
This is a total failure of the Trudeau government. It shows their interests in Canadian safety and interests. \nThe people who took advantage of Liberal Government stupidity are the Indians and especially Indian Punjabis. They took it granted and now they believe Canadian citizenship is their right. This huge hail of immigrants from Indian punjab created a lot of problems with the Canadian system and culture. They took all the jobs that Canadians had a right to. Cut the long story short . majority of these are not students. They just took advantage of a stupid government in Canada. Deport them all.

Indian here. She was mild to complain about too many Indians in Canada. I completely sympathize with her. Nobody wants their country to be over run by too many migrants. Keep things real, no woke shit. Yes to cultural integration, no to cultural highjacking.

As a indian i agree canada is losing its culture its becoming more indian culture
|
| 2024-10-21 | 0 |
You come to Canada in huge numbers. It's not immigration anymore, it's invasion. You are culturally aggressive, you don't want to assimilate, and will not assimilate. You came here to build a second Punjab, you have different values than ours, many of you are dishonest, demanding, ungrateful. I have an impression that our government wants to replace our population. When I go to the park with my dogs, I mostly see women in saris and men in turbans and hear around a foreign language. I lost the sense of familiarity and don't recognize my own country anymore. And what is sad is that India will stay India with its culture and tradition, but our culture will be dissolved. Canada as we know it will disappear.
|
| 2024-10-19 | 0 |
Indians have to go, they don’t respect the Canadian traditions nor culture like the old Europeans did once they first entered Canada after the war.
|
| 2024-10-19 | 0 |
Thanks for sharing, I believe the immigration system here before granting visas should test every newcomer’s understanding of rules and Canadian culture along with all existing requirements. And the consequences for breaking some of the basic rules must be severe so that no one breaks them in first place. And we certainly need the quotas, Canada does not have the infrastructure to host a billion people.
|

Oh, Brampton’s over 80% non-white, and now it’s a 'mass immigration crisis,' is it? Interesting. I wonder how the Indigenous people felt when waves the Europeans came over and started making themselves at home. You know, back when mass immigration also happened, except the native population didn’t exactly get a warm welcome either—more like the opposite.\n\nI mean, isn’t it ironic? A country built on immigration now complaining about… immigration. It’s almost like history has a sense of humor. But hey, at least now we have the internet so everyone can share their thoughts on 'who belongs' in a land that wasn’t really theirs to begin with. Funny how that works, right?\n\nOh yes, Canadian culture and values—those timeless, ancient traditions that go all the way back to… the last couple of centuries? I mean, forgive me, but when exactly did Canada, a country that came into existence through colonization, suddenly develop this pure, distinct culture that’s now under 'threat'?\n\nLet’s talk about Canadian values—like diversity, inclusion, and… oh wait, that’s only good until people from different backgrounds actually show up. Then it’s suddenly a 'crisis.' Classic.\n\nAnd what exactly are we preserving here? Maple syrup and hockey? Because, newsflash, multiculturalism is Canadian culture now. It’s the same 'values' that were conveniently forgotten when Indigenous communities were being erased. But sure, let’s act like a few more immigrants are going to dismantle the grand, rich, centuries-old tapestry of... Tim Hortons and politeness.\n\nHonestly, if the presence of more people of color is that threatening to 'Canadian values,' maybe those values were never that strong to begin with.

It is always difficult for a new immigrant to find friends immediately but most OECD countries such as Canada would be the same. Clearly there are some cultural issues to understand, and perhaps language problems but finding employment can be a first step to solving this as well as joining those support groups who have a similar background to yourself. If you leave Canada I don't see how this would be any different in the new country you choose to settle in.

Canada is corrupt and feels more Asian in character in culture.

I'm an immigrant as well, but not from India. I experienced culture shock when I arrived in Canada, but I managed to adjust to the “Canadian ways.” While I haven't fully adapted since I wasn't born and raised here, I've been living here for years. It's important to respect and be polite to Canadians. It feels like they are welcoming us into their home, so we should be respectful, mindful, and considerate. Most Canadians I've met are very nice and polite.
