We needed your honesty here good sir! I can't go to India and do whatever I want and that should tell you how much Indians disrespect Canada and our country. It is not a small percentage of Indians it is cultural - Indians give off an attitude of I won't be assimilating to your Canadian culture. This was the case before the opened immigration policy but they stayed in line due to the risk of their residency. Today Indians are acting like social justice warriors, protesting and making demands all the while Canadians are suffering. Indians would never stand for this if non-Indians came to India and demanded anything as immigrants. Its a double standard in general they don't have critical judgement like you display in this video. Thank you for your candid perspective!

Good news.. Stay home.. Canada is suffering of immigrants now.. The immigrants are competing with the same jobs Canadians are seeking for, the hourly wages have been ranked because of the unfair job competition.. Canada is not India..

Good about time! No more immigration for now. Housing, jobs, health care, and so much more are in trouble cause we allowed to many in. I live in a building in Vancouver, just lately they fired good workers and hired these immigrants. So they were having fun on their computers and I was washing clothes, asked them to help, they wouldn't look nor give back my money I lost. Their excuse was it wasn't their job to help me. Just chill. There is no mass deportation. There is a ban to entrances as two large conflicts growing to the loss control point. In 1941 we closed boarders for immigration for a year. Same thing will be around going on now. Strangely, because, the amount of illegals we get is huge and small relating to the conflicts. Why deportation is impossible? It is. The child may get a letter of apology, good compensation and be sent home. Education in Canada is expensive. The amount of kids who can not run budget of studies is great, These fake students stuck in our kids professional growth. Canadian government has to adopt Australian model for immigration and student visa. I lived in Australia and in 2009 indian students protested against Australian immigration policy , Within 6 months of crackdown 1200 low quality colleges were shut down by government and thousands of international students including me were Struggling and left Australia but that was i think good for Australia. Same needed to be done by Canada. 70% of students come to earn money and do 2-3 jobs and Canadians are struggling while employers getting cheaper labor and making money..

It's about time they start looking after Canada. Mass immigration is not good , wrong for Canada. Don't close it completely but the numbers need to be reduced from one million plus to 250 thousand a year. Trudeau is disingenuous and in a fantasy world on most government issues.

Canadian born population is busy in drugs , doing labour job. Parents never saved for their kids education so they are working in Stores earning minimum wages. As cities get costly, they go far and far to earn livelihood, selling their homes to immigrants who bring and earn good money and then complain that cities are filled with immigrants. And then they blame , that immigrants took our jobs.

Time to move on I guess. Canada is rated quite highly in terms of places to live, the reason so many people want to immigrate here. Years ago vacation meant a car trip probably a few hundred kilometers from home, and that's only if mom or dad could afford it. Now if people can't go on a tropical vacation 3 times a year they cry. We had one car, not 2 or 3 fully optioned like today. Good luck on finding somewhere better, and make room for people who want to be here.

They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. well, if they were there for school, not sure how many completed it, or just went to work and whatever... If done or failed, go back, and apply properly, everyone sees worldwide how past few years of extremely lax immigration standards and enforcement is affecting ALL Western Liberal led governments, all suffering. Dont cut immigration down.....tell me how did Indian intl student makes up about more than 80% out of all international students. Why didnt the government put a cap or a stop specifically just for Indian people? Why didnt the immigration look deep before giving student visa just like a snap of a finger and see if they can support themselve for school and living expense. \n\nI am an immigrant myself but when i decided to come to canada as a student. I made sure i had enough funds to sustain myself here in canada for 2 years until i can get my work permit then a head to PR. I never ask for Cerb when covid happen, never ask food bank my part time job can fullfill that, paid my fare for using transportation, paid my rents and utilities on time and paid my credit cards. Awesome in addressing the elephant in the room, but this is nothing new in Canada. Over our extensive history of immigration our country has experienced chronic separatism, racism, exclusion and of course, bigotry. The *us-against-them* rhetoric is as old as humanity and not exclusionary to Canada. Euro settlers were racist against natives, then blacks, then Eastern Europeans, then Italians, Latinos, Asians, Arabs, Africans and so on. The blame? You called it. It's complicated, but failed economic policies are the root cause. People acting horribly does not help either. Having said that, as a proud Canadian here's a Pro-tip for any newbie emigrating to new pastures - anywhere in the world; Learn the new house rules and behave. Feel free to keep your customs, but respect your new home. Nobody is forcing anyone to stay so love it or leave it. Above all else, be respectful, a good human and a good neighbour. If you ever think things were better elsewhere maybe that's where you should be.

If you plan to immigrate you must respect our culture and act as nice or nicer than the reputation us Canadians have. The reason we are upset with some Indians is they have no respect. Some of them throw their garbage everywhere on the streets on the beaches on our walkways. I get in India the culture there may allow you to throw garbage in the streets and lakes and rivers. No wonder we have so many low-skilled immigrants in recent years. Thanks to this dumbest policy issued in 2020, we basically opened the door and welcomed visitors to get work permits whenever they want. labor shortage due to covid?\nShould have ended this stupid policy in 2022 when everything was opening up and getting better already. It is not right to put good and bad apples in one basket, the bad stands out here more than the good.\nI came from an area of very few Indians and been living in an area of high immigration for many years, so I came from a place of no prejudices. Not separate yourselves, segregating others based on predjudices, and sticking to what you are familiar with back home. You came for a better life, but live the same as the past. The guy became very combative, saying if his visa is expired, he won’t have to leave. One thing they cannot understand, Canada, united states, Europe aren’t the same they were during the 70’s, 80’s, some mistakes had been made. There are way too many of them in the northern part of America and they are all over the world. The premier minister modi, last year, finishing to talk to the Australian authorities, last words: if they can the young people of India to immigrate to their country, for education, research, since almost all the big ai companies are in his country, why they don’t do the research there good god, they prefer leaving opportunities behind, to work for Walmart, Canadian tires, Tim Horton ect , very smart. Canada is one of the best countries, I agree there are few downfalls, but on the other hand you can’t even in judge a book by just looking at it’s cover. If you are well educated, this country is the best to live in. Canada has already made their immigration policies stern, and are not welcoming everyone now. Do you think Indian politicians are doing good to keep India safe according to their duties? Don’t you think India has a drug problem too? Apply for a visa and come here, you’ll see many people settled, enjoying their life here. People have to face struggles when you move to a new country, it takes time. Get the right people for the right jobs, if you MUST bring in immigrants!\nThere are plenty of Canadian people who can do low wage jobs. Besides, low wage jobs are a good opportunity for youngsters to learn good skills while earning some money on the side to save for college. They are NOT, and I repeat, NOT for immigrants who have other skills to bring to the Canadian market.\n\nThe IT sector needs a serious overhaul. You need people to fill up roles in corporate jobs to boost production, because Canada is seriously behind in technology. Healthcare needs serious people too. There is no point in bringing promising doctors and healthcare practitioners who can improve healthcare services and the number of capable doctors here, but have them working low wage jobs instead to make ends meet. That is unfair to those people and unfair to Canadians who need good medical services in lieu of the taxes that they pay. Canadian Experience is a joke and a very cheap trick played by the incumbent government to swindle good, deserving people of their hard-earned money.\n\nEnough of bringing in refugees into Canada and destroying the economy by giving them handfuls of money paid by Canadians themselves. Well y all employees want immigrants cause they know, they r the most honest hardworking, non complainer nation, and they know the respect of elderly and talk with honest, bad and good every where, multicultural society are full of different humans expereiences, beliefs and values, and we learn from each other, have relationships with each other and have our genes mixed up ! I am an Indian and I am disgusted to see what fellow Indians have done to Canada! They come here with their total lack of civic sense! I was born and raised in Calcutta as we navigated daily through filth and dirt on the streets - not only because of the poor on the street - but bec of everyone else who walks around and thinks nothing of throwing their garbage on the streets, spitting and blowing their noses on the streets and even in buildings - stairway landings, or peeing in the open - in public spaces or against building walls, etc.. Narcissistic, selfish drivers who cut people off, break the traffic rules, grab parking spots, etc.. They come here and make every effort to Indianize Canada - to make this into India instead of respecting this country that has generously and (ignorantly!!) allowed them in!! If they want to live their Indian culture in an 'Indian environment' - then for goodness sake - GO BACK TO INDIA and clean up that country your call your 'matri bhoomi' - your Mother!! The presenter is right - Indians (and Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis too included here - all with the same mentality!) have dragged down the customer service experience in stores and restaurants. Indians are usually polite but they are not good at maintaining a high standard of customer service! Employees in Walmart, Costco, Tim Hortons (especially!), etc., are seen standing around, chatting with each other in their Indian languages instead of being professionally attentive to customers. The shopping experience is not pleasant like it was 25 years ago!! Your remarks are not harsh and Indians NEED to take it personally and be embarrassed into doing the necessary to make the changes they need to. We immigrated to Canada not to come to 'another India' - we came to Canada and would like to live in this country to appreciate it's uniqueness and contribute to maintaining it the way it has been! First and foremost the natives of North America are Red Indians . You so called “ (original)” Canadians are also immigrants . Your forefathers immigrated from Ireland and UK .\n So the Indians coming to Brampton are contributing to the economy there . Spending on education, housing and fooding. No Offence to anyone but when you applied to come here as a student or tfw you had to prove and swear that you will go back home once your studies or work permit is done , its a part of the cbsa and irrc questioning if your protesting you are breaking the rules and laws of your visa and you are subject to deportation because you lied to immigration and the cbsa , i lived in another country for 3 years during covid i could stay up to 3 years with my visa , my last renewal the officer told me sir this is the last renewal you will have to leave so that is what i did i respected the laws of the host country and went home , i feel sorry the students were lied to by the schools the government and THEIR own People telling them they will get pr give us 20k-30k cdn $ but thats not our problem .... vet the agencies yourself before applying , come here legally and there is no issue , but don't think our country has to give you pr or CITIZONSHIP just because you spent allot of money or worked here pr and CITIZONSHIP is a privilege NOT A RIGHT , when you had the interview with immigration and the cbsa what did you Promise i will leave didn't you ? time to start packing like i did go home and better your country with the knowledge you go from here if you dont break the rules you can always come back Legally god bless and good luck

I m afraid to say but there no place to go right now on earth. Right now all world is burning just. Immigration, the rise of far-right parties, dictatorial regimes, deteriorating public order, etc. I m livin in poland and this country safe and good but we are not making much money like americans and like other high level countries.

Immigrant is not a race or nationality. The only immigrants protesting are some Indians though. If they have skills and weren't trying to exploit the system, they have a good chance of staying in Canada.

Oh now being the eminent election coming, he finally thinks he needs to limit immigration now that we are already screwed. Too late Trudeau. The Trudeau government has been bending the rules concerning immigrants studying in Canada. The loudest of this group are foreign students from India. The conditions of their student visas include that they must have the ability to support themselves while they are studying in Canada. This is common with students from India, they lie about their financial circumstances to get the visa, then they come here and complain they need financial help. Why would Canadian tax payers foot the bill for a bunch of fraudsters. If they are found to be in violation of the conditions that govern their eligibility for their student visa, then the laws should be applied and they should be deported immediately. If they can't obey the laws and obligations necessary to obtain and keep their student visa, then it's a no-brainer. The world is taking advantage of the good will of Canadians, enough already. Send the liars and scammers home.

It amazes me why people do not understand that Canada will never stop immigration. Students come here to improve their knowledge and better their career opportunities, not to do low-wage jobs even after having a better degree than most Canadians don't. I suggest students come to Canada for a good degree program either a bachelor's or master's and then find a job in their line of education because you can see the draws happen at least twice a month.
