I have mixed feelings. Lets go beyond the immigration status of these workers. That has been talked about endlessly. The US economy would take a hit if this deportation plan goes through. The kind of deportation Trump has been talking about has gone beyond people that are here illegally. Trump has expanded it to include what he calls 'undocumented' migrants. That group includes people waiting for their asylum hearings, DACA recipients and protected status migrants/refugees, and people that have already had their asylum hearings, but are awaiting their citizenship hearings. \nAs for the narrative about 'murderers' and 'violent/horrible' criminals being in our country, it's like....wait...what??? Now, if you KNOW a person is a convicted murderer or horrible criminal, WHY would you allow them into or allow them to stay in this country to begin with? And, you'd kind of have to allow them to stay, otherwise, how the hell would you know how many of them are here?? Or who they are?? You can bet your butt that Pres. Biden didn't allow any people like this, that weren't in our prison system, yet 'known' to remain on US soil. That's not how it works! Not to mention, a large portion of the 13 to 15,000 number that Trump and the Right keep tossing out there, are from when Trump was in office! NOT during Pres. Biden's administration! \nIt's all been a lie manufactured for one purpose: to scare monger Trump's base. And it worked. Now Trump 'has a mandate' to put on an insane, cruel, probably hugely illegal 'show', of him rounding up large numbers of people and shipping them off to who the hell knows where..... whether they were here illegally or not. (he's already vowed to deport the 20,000 Haitians in Springfield, even tho they entered the country, LEGALLY, while TRUMP was president! HE is the one that signed their protected status into law!) Trump's deportation extravaganza is going to be ugly, brutal, bloody, grim and senselessly cruel, to a great many people that more likely than not, have no reason to be deported.

I can see services and consumer products going up and of course you will have another liar in the WH press secretary room blaming the Biden administration for it. Same old story. It will probably be a story similar to the border wall, Mexico will pay for it. Where's the wall and when did Mexico pay for the part that was built? Ah, let's not mention that all those privately owned jails and detention centers (many owned by wealthy reps) will be ripping off the federal government/you the taxpayer. They will overcharge for lodging, food, blankets, you name it.  \nRemember, you might want deport all the illegal immigrants, but there are international laws as well. The countries that you might want to deport those immigrants might say, no. we don't want them. So, then, they become the responsibility of the US Government. Those people will be in limbo, meanwhile, we the taxpayers will paying for housing, feeding, clothing, them and their health care. \n\nOh, we haven't talked about climate change.... migration to the northern wealthier countries won't stop due to climate change. It won't stop here or in Europe. But, no many people are talking about it or preparing for it. \n\nNow the Reps have control of the executive branch, the congress (both chambers), and the Supreme Court is in his pocket. So, there will be no one to blame but themselves if they don't fix what they say they will fix: Immigration, ACA, the Economy, and more.

Where was this reporting when it would have helped?????? He's been talking about this for MONTHS and the impact could have been easily extrapolated back then. WHY DIDN'T YOU TAKE THAT SERIOUSLY AND WARN PEOPLE BEFORE THEY VOTED??????

I truly love and am also sometimes very jealous of the parties & celebrations of my many Latino neighbors. These people throw down. I’ve been graciously invited to several over the years, drinking, eating, talking, dancing & learning until the wee hrs. Always an amazing & humbling time. Great neighbors, always looking out for each other. \nI was however a little shocked to go outside at 2am following election results to find a full on Latino trump block party. Flags, hats & all. \nI was offered but made up some excuse to deny having a shot of tequila this time. Looked fun, food smelled delicious. \nI just couldn’t hang out at that moment. It was too unnerving, and my heart was literally hurting. \nAll Love!! Just confusing & disappointing ?‍♂️?

I heard on my visit to Canada earlier this year for vacation the same thing, BUT you talked to Canadians who were obviously unemployed/with no skills and homeless (at least it seemed like that, my apologies if that was not the case. All immigrants should respect the local law and do not impose their culture in adopted land. I believe that Indians come to Brampton because they find their own kind of people there and feel that they will not feel any racism, mind you it happens everywhere. Racism in parts of Canada is very much there. \nI stayed in Toronto with a friend and noticed almost 99% of tenants there were chinese, and no one was speaking English. Would like you to interview there as well.

Wild. The last time I was in Toronto was late 2019. I've been going there since I was a toddler. People have b*tched about the cost of living for a long time, but I actually don't remember ever seeing a homeless person there or feeling unsafe walking anywhere in the city, at any time of the day or night. Perhaps my skin is thick coming from the metro US experience, or perhaps the city has, indeed, changed rapidly..... Fun fact: I remember people talking about moving from NYC to Toronto because Toronto was dirt cheap in the mid 90s...............

Now if you do the math they inject about 3.6 Billion dollars every year! Which makes International student one of the top 10 source of revenue for Canada! That is the hard reality check for anyone who thinks these Indians in Canada are all undeserving people.....they just compete better than most white Canadians in their home ground whilst quite literally in every stretch there are more facilities available to Native Canadians then there are for the people of international origin: International students' annual spending directly and indirectly contributed CAN$7.4 billion in tax revenue for the Canadian government.
