Most Americans now hate Trump as much as Canadians do at this point. We are with your tariffs keep them in place for four years regardless as to what Trump does!

Greetings to Canada and the Canadian people. With this decision, you are exporting inflation and high prices to America, and the American citizen will feel it later, and then Trump will come to negotiate with Canada. Imagine if Europe applied the same principle. I almost swear that Trump will become a beggar in the political street for Canadians and Europeans.?

I wish I was Canadian. I'm embarrassed to be an American. How stupid can the people in this country be to elect a felon, rapist and liar?

My advise to Canadians is that they should as quickly as possible unite with other nations in protection of beautiful Canada . At least most Americans have lost the seriousness and the truth for a unknown duration .

As an American, I am so Proud of President Trump! If my neighbors in Canada had done what was right and stopped the flow of fentanyl from coming into Canada and flowing into my country, little Justin wouldn’t be crying right now in front of a camera. Hey Justin, how many of your politicians were paid off to allow fentanyl to continue flowing? None, you say? So it was just incompetence then? I don’t think that you care because you are on your way OUT! I hope my Canadian friends do better!

I was never a fan of Trudeau, but compared to Trump he is a breath of fresh air. Give it 3 years and 10 months and Americans will be back to sanity. Don't know if America will be in one piece though. After the three stooges have fired everyone, and taken away their social security, and our soldiers dying for no reason against our allies, and the VA system disbanded from helping past soldiers who made sacrifices for this country, while the dollar has lost most of its value, while inflation is through the roof....yes it will be tough. To our Canadian and Mexican neighbors, do what you have to do to inflict pain on the meatheads in America who think Trump is their savior. They need to be taught a valuable lesson.

Trump forgets, or never knew where all the American planes landed during 9-11. The Canadian people and specifically Newfoundlanders, fed and took care of people from all over the world. He would charge the people on the planes if they landed in he US! And ask for the mineral rights in their countries!

In California but 1000% Team Canada. I am actively seeking out Canadian products to replace those from red states. (Canadian Mist, Crown Royal and many others are excellent replacements for Kentucky whiskeys.) I hope (and expect) that Blue State governors are working with Canada and our other allies to put the squeeze on Trump-supporting states and industries. While I hold out little hope that Trump cultists will ever not be brainwashed, putting them through direct and maximum pain is the only possible way out. Canada, elbows up! Turn out the lights, raise the price of our oil and know that true Americans are with you every step of the way.

The really sick thing is that it was trump who signed the Free Trade Agreement himself in his first term! CNN, why are you not calling out Trump's lies? In 2024, less than two tenths of one percent of fentanyl entering the US in 2024 crossed the US-Canadian border. This was NEVER about fentanyl. This is about Trump financing his billionaire tax cuts buy imposing huge sales taxes on American consumers. It's a stealth tax increase tha.t is targeted at low and middle income Americans. Trump is a liar, a crook, and a moron, a rapist, and a traitor. Every line you guys utter should underscore those facts. If you can't do your job, then STFU and shutter your offices. As an American, I am embarrassed. I have loved travelling to Toronto, and working directly with my Canadian colleagues. These tariffs are plain dumb, and can only be explained by Putin's influence on the FOTUS in America.
