The only reason Trump set tariffs on Canada is because he would look like a racist if he only did it to Mexico. I have a feeling soon Trump will lift the tariffs on Canada citing that Canada has complied with his requests. He will keep the tariffs on Mexico though.

So I guess it is only a trade war when the US demands reciprocal tariffs? It seems like injustice to be put on an even playing field when you have not been being held to the same standards. Canada, Mexico and most other countries have had tariffs on the goods they send to the US for decades; why all of the complaints now?
