Trump did a good thing. All you woke, soft hearted liberals don't get the fact that the USA has been allowing these other countries to eat off of us for free. Well, that' stops today. The President/PM of Ukraine will also learn a valuable lesson today as well. Never bite the hand that feeds you. All of our tax dollars have been donated around the world to other people's causes while we are made to suffer. We have a financial crisis right here in America that needs to be addressed. This is the start, and in the long term, we will prevail. Canada is like a little sister to the US. Trudeau is talking about fighting and they can't survive a war without our help. Neither can many of the other NATO countries. So, middle finger to him and any other country that opposes us. It's time stop being taken advantage of and for the USA to start acting like we are the most powerful nation in the world. Many of you don't like Trump's decisions simply because you don't like the person. Get out of your feelings and look at then big picture.

The US ordered cyber command to longer monitor Russisn hackers or to go after them. \n\nTrump ends the consumer watching agency that protected the US citizens from fraud and cyber fraud and the watching general who was tasked to monitor fake money scams like some bit coins which many are dark web money payments from crooks and money laundering. I wonder who this move helped? All of the inspector generals who were looking ok not the scam artist and corporate welfare wuuen Elon Musk. \n\nI was just hearing that gas prices are going up a dollar at least tomorrow, so you had better go and fill up. it's about all any of us can do at this juncture, is my guess. America…you’re getting taxed on all sides - Canada, China, and Mexico. These retaliatory tariffs are very strategic as well to hit you where it hurts the most. Your farms and food supplies are also going to get hit by lack of workers. I’m so worried for you. Fight back! This man is trying to destroy your country. Follow the money - where it’s being taken from (jobs, Medicaid, etc) and where it’s going TO (tax cuts for most wealthy, contracts for billionaires). The SAVE Act is trying to make it very difficult for minorities and WOMEN to vote. They are trying to basically take over so they can’t be put out of power, only the wealthy get educated properly, the poor go to military service, and they may even start looking at invading other countries. Ridiculously proud Canadian here. As much as it genuinely upsets me that things had to come to this, it came as no shock. tRump has always been jealous of Canada - our oil, natural gas, timber, minerals, etc.. tRump is ridiculously jealous of our younger, fAAAr better looking country AND Prime Minister. \nSeriously though, Canadians ARE a proud bunch. We just don't feel the need to flaunt it. But this..... The sense I make of it is that it sure looks like trump and putin plan on carving up our world BY STARTING WORLD WAR 3. Lots of war money to be made and Putin gets Europe, trump gets North America and China can have Taiwan for starters. As an American I look forward to this trade war with Canada. I've never respected Trudeau as a leader and I don't respect him now after a speech. Another note regarding fentanyl, as an American I do not see it as a Canadian/Mexican problem. Canada nor Mexico want to sell Fentanyl. Drugs are a United States problem. We, citizens of the United States are the problem. It’s time to look at ourselves instead of blaming the rest of the world. Lets stop being the worlds largest drug market.

People in Canada just have to do what they have to do. But there are ways to carry on without 100% of the US business and hospitality. We never had to look far for things as American companies had offered to deal with Canada of course to their profit as well. So now we have to look around for new customers, start new ventures. It doesn't have to be this way. Things were great for both of us the way it was. And it can be that way again once Trump is gone. This will be temporary. Trump is not forever. We both have realized now what both countries had and we can carry on when the time comes.
