My family owns real estate and we're of Asian descent. I can say that we racially profiled every single applicant for our rental units. The first thing we look at in choosing a tenant is race, and the second is income/cash reserves. We've had Natives and blacks come in to take a look, and immediately rejected without outright saying so. We only rent to East Asians, some South Asians, and most Whites.

I don't know why all of Latin America thinks that the USA and Canada have the responsibility of taking care of the people from Latin American Countries. I say let them fix their own countries. Mexico for example, has every resource that the USA has. Coal, oil, natural gas, mineral mines of every type, timber industries, rich farm land, etc..... You name the resource, Mexico has it. Yet the corruption of the Mexican Government keeps the people poor. Well I say, fix it!!! Don't come here looking for a new life. Fix the problem in your own country by any means necessary.

Well, I am not going to generalize all people in the same category. There are good and bad people everywhere in the world but being first generation immigrant in Canada is really hard in every part of life. First, even you are fluent in English you will have an accent that makes big difference in your job hunting, making friends and get along with different people. Many times, I have been treated on the basis of how I look and on the basis of my accent.

Sadly racism is in every country in the world, if people look different, I guess some of us assume their values are different

well I am a Christian Canadian and I fear for my life because Islam is a political movement made to look like a religion and Islam believes in hating and killing anyone who is not Islamic and Canada is getting closer and closer to sharia law every time the law here excepts one of Islam's rules and all those people want to do is take over the world and Canada is rolling out the carpet and bowing down to Sharia law but I want to know is this still Canada or is it a Islamic State because it's starting to look like the latter to me.

it's not the religion.... it's the mac's convenience and the corner stores selling tropicana juice for 6 bucks a liter. It's the family oriented hiring policies and the rural area stores being bought and not offering fishing bait, ice or firewood but instead offering dollar store fishing lures for 20 bucks. it's the electronic stores that sell tape decks and old CD players. The stuff that really makes a bad impression is when a muslim family buys a Pizza Pizza or a subway and then changes the restaurant so that there is no where to be seated and the food is processed by someone who won't look me in the eye once and speaks a language that I can't understand to an employer about my sandwich and i will never know what the problem was. I feel like my spanish and native friends treat me the same as them. I feel like the scottish guy who hates me for not waking up at 5 in the morning is only mad because i'm not working as hard as him. I'm saying that maybe a lot of muslims don't want to be our friends and maybe some do... but it seems like they don't want to be my friend but will message a pretty white girl on every single facebook post with paragraphs of physical praise. i probably get a lot of facts wrong... but that world may be too far away for us to acclimate into each others societies. I'd like it though if we could all live in such a manner where we could feel like we aren't all gunning for a chunk of the world.

Canada First, America First, Britain First.. we are becoming a country filled with suckers. we have no more rights as Canadians, all of our rights have been given away while we are being are prosecuted. Look at every country involved in the migrants trade from Muslim country's and how ripping them apart. I respect Britain, and I wish I could vote for Trump.

Every American should see what's happening all over Europe with the muslim invasion. Especially in Sweden and Belgium. London is looking a lot like Syria as well. CBC, I'm disappointed. You have to be aware that the Implicit Association Test is a flawed test. Do some research, and you will find that outside of the soft sciences, it does not hold water. It is not a repeatable test. Get one person to do the same test every day for 30 days. See how things change. \nAdditionally, that written survey is craftily put together to get what it wants. for security and safety they should make it mandatory so that every person can be identified. suppose someone wearing a mask or someone who covers there identity wants to do some evil like stab or robbery or steal etc... now they can go in a store and take what they want or stab anyone etc.... its best to implement laws that provides security for people. also its not required for muslims to wear such cloths so why dont just try to obey for purpose of security and safety. i am a hindu and i love canada. why, its because we have an allstar groups of people that try to live in peace. we should keep this way of thought. also making some comprimises like this will go a long way for muslims with other communities as well. they should try to look at the fact that canada is not an islamic country.

I think its actually astounding how many people Hate Islam and yet no one has done anything to stop the religion. Its literally everywhere you look, in every country in every city, women having 6 kids, taking over schools and entire neighborhoods, the UK now mandating that Arabic be taught in certain schools, is really remarkable that people have *snapped* yet and fought back at whats happening, because Islam will literally be the dominant religion in many european countries by 2030.... thats 15 years away

If they want sharia law, why not move back to their own countries where it's already imposed? This is disgusting, they want to change every place they go to and adapt it by their own beliefs, but if you go to a muslim country you have to cover up and live by their own rules of course. I have to say, i was in East Ham the other day with my bf, kissing on the street and this muslim guy giving us ugly stares. I just looked straight in his face and smiled. -----
