Why do Muslims always fall back on the old 'this is how I/they/we interpret the Koran's teachings'? How can something that is meant to be the perfect word of God be interpreted in so many different ways? Surely God would be a pretty clear communicator? We need to have a little bit of compassion for Muslims who are struggling with this. Imagine that you were born into Islam. You didn't ask for it.
