I mean the guy isn't wrong. I work delivery and always have change. And he works directly for the pizza place so they should be giving him change at the start of the day. I'm an Indian immigrant and lived in ON. I drove through Brampton once and I vowed to never go back there again. But you see this is a vicious consequence of declining birth rates in Canada. I'm Australian and a few months back had a debate with a Canadian on reddit who visited Australia and remarked how shocked he was at how ethnically segregated Australia is and was preaching about how in Canada everyone mixes and that Australia should learn from Canada how to integrate immigrants. Well as someone who did a working holiday in Canada he was spouting bs, you have cities like Surrey, Richmond, Burnaby, Brampton and Markham that have become mini India and Chinas in Canada. Australia might have neighbourhoods that are segregated but we sure as hell don't have cities with 300k+ people that cater to one ethnicity. I’ve lived in America as a Canadian for multiple years, and they are quite similar, but I just generally prefer my country better, and I’m not sure why.

I'm a canadian in my late 20s and now I can't even afford a home. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against all the people that have came here, but there has been too many in too short of a time period. The government should've propped up the infrastructure to accommodate these immigrants before initiating this plan of overimmigration. Sure you are giving us a first time home buyer credit and only allowing individuals with a PR to purchase a home, but there is still an underlying issue of how born and raised citizens are now struggling. I cannot imagine how much worse it is for those who are coming here for an education. Not to include the lack of jobs, it is a tough job market out there as well, I may have to move to the US to have a professional career, which is not ideal because I want to stay in Canada.

I think the “no one wants to live in Canada” thing is such a stretch it could qualify as a lie. We still have a lot of people trying to immigrate here, and while I’m sure there are a lot of people trying to leave Canada, I don’t know any of them. Things aren’t great but it’s still Canada. When I visit America, I always just feel anxious about guns. I'm sure it's super rare to actually get shot and stuff, but it's always on my mind. Most of these negative issues have risen in the last decade and are true...I'm not sure why anyone would want to come here anymore, let alone stay here.
