The issue is not just the students I agree and seen students who came recently have made things mess but who to blame how can a country ask even 5.5 bands holders can get visa …..but major issue is the refugees who are coming they are paid for being refugee ….the taxes of Canadian are been given free to refugees …I came across a Afghan family they get almost 7000 dollars a month they don’t do anything they eat good pay for their grocers and enjoy life on the other hand Indian students pay thousands of dollars to come here giving share in the economy but guys from haryana punjab who are just 12th pass immature they are spoiling the name of the entire community as a whole it’s sad to see

I left Canada finally after many many years of debating for myself. It’s the best thing I ever did. I have a really good job, that pays me more than three times my monthly overhead. After literally struggling in Canada for 30+ years as an adult trying to keep a job amongst colleagues that hate you for everything that I was and wasn’t, had and didn’t have. I’m very happy that I left and can go to work peacefully everyday, without needing to feel like I’m a piece of crap that doesn’t have the right to exist. I came to Canada at age 12 with my parents. And was always called names, always under minded, overlooked, put down, bullied and never had a single job that also contributed to my pension. When I left Canada, immigration Canada emailed me daily for three months telling me to come back to Canada IMMEDIATELY lol. Because my home country wasn’t safe enough to live in. I’m from Belgium. It’s much safer, friendlier, empathic and prosperous than Canada ever was

a lot of people are talking like this but ya know what\n\nWe still have amazing and free health care\nEverytime I go to the grocery store I can get everything under the sun\nWe have a good main highway , I know its not perfect but for the most part I can drive accross the entire 4000km country\nI have a decent paying job, and yes rents expensive ~ but with proper budgeting it is possible\nWe have ocean views on each side of our country, all the first world stores and options.\n\nI think there is a lot of room to improve, but globally countries are all facing inflation, corrupt poltics, drug abuse .. and yes a lot of our mandates are way out of whack\n\nBut I still feel living in Canada is a dream, but not in the big city - thatss for sure !\n\nCook for yourself at home, get ride of all those monthly payments for apps\nStop travelling so much, find an affordable and simple vehicle you can pay off\nWork hard, work as much as you can, dont shop or buy expensive things ..\n\nBuild a garden, show up to your job, find something that pays you for what you know..\n\nThe dream is still alive in some of us ! I think seeing what the rest of the world is going through will be a reminder that its not just isolated to our country.

Germany is a mixed bag. Depends on who you meet and how emotionally resilient you are when you get here. Then you have the flat lottery, the moody Amt workers lottery, the friends lottery, etc. But statistics have shown, that the majority of skilled workers do not stay long-term in Germany. This place is one of the most modern slave states there is. Did you know you it is illegal to not have a health insurance and stay as a resident. The paperwork to get the Jobcenter to cover my health insurance is mind-boggling and lengthy. It takes a lot of years to get “integrated” and be at auf Augenhöhe and Lohnhöhe with the rest of the natives. If Germany really wants to let in 400.000 extra workers every year, it needs to do better with urgent more affordable housing, rent caps not just kindergeld. And with their oh so magnificent education, they could have more bilingual or trilingual workers at places like the Einwanderungsbehörde or the Bürgeramt to make it more welcoming. Legalese is even hard in my own mother tongue! But there are good things and people here too.

Do agree with your perspective. There are bad people in every group. But we can't ignore the fact that the Punjabi filth is the main issue here. In their case it would be better to say there are only a few good ones. I have personally seen a large number of them who can't even speak basic english and have a CLB 9 on IELTS. I don't even wanna start on all the things that we see daily on social media. Again I'm not saying that everybody else is perfect. Just the fact that Punjabis are the main issue here.

She says some good things, but showing that guy getting into her bed and thinking that made her life better, tells me she's not very smart. Being overweight doesn't help either. She will probably be back in Canada in just a few short years.

it's NOT free, after all taxes combined on an annual basis I'm paying around 60% taxes, carbon taxes, pst, gst, luxury taxes on cars over 50 k, all manner of hidden taxes, no health care is definitely not free. My health care plan in the US was 155 a month, my share, employer paid the rest, a good plan. But I took home 22% more of my income, which is massive on an annual basis, I was very rich down there, coming back to Canada it's sad, give the government all that money for what exactly? Can't think of one thing I ask the government for, but you know I'm self reliant, so self reliant people don't thrive in Canada. If I had lived in the US my whole life, same job/income I would be living a life multiples better than Canada.

I agree, if you don't like it here, you should leave. However, the challenges we face in Canada are not unique to our country. It's easy to believe the grass is greener elsewhere, but I'm willing to accept both the good and the bad, and I haven't lost hope that we can fix Canada from within. Of course, this requires believing that change is possible and being willing to contribute in any way you can. Frankly, I find your attitude defeatist. You're happy to enjoy the good times, but as soon as things get rough, you're ready to leave. It makes me wonder if our current situation isn't partly due to people's unwillingness to do more than complain and run away when things get tough.

Funny thing , when someone hear about Germany and the shortage of labor they think they will be welcomed and find good jobs, fact is NO, they will apply and will be rejected many hundred times, wages are joke it does not meat life requirment, add the bureaucracy , endless waiting in foreign office and appartment shortage. Yet when the prices of housing was going up, many homeowners loved it, even though it meant that the poor, the actual poor and not you lot, were stacked like firewood into smaller and smaller rooms with no AC so it was hot in the summer and freezing in the winter and the slum lords are having a hey day. \nThe actual first nations people are homeless and being killed daily and are arrested for being poor daily but you lot think you have it bad. \n\nSorry, when non first nations people say that they will leave Canada because its not how they remember it when they were kids and its worse now so they will jump ship to gentrify other nations, I just shake my head and hold open the door as you leave the nation and wonder at your arrogance and egoism.

So agree with you Alina! We came to Canada from Ukraine in 2009, we were around the same age you are now. We came to Saskatchewan, settled happily in Saskatoon and we really liked this city despite harsh winters. Unfortunately, bcos of rising living costs, homelessness, and addictions issues happening in a city right now, had to move to a smaller city in SK in 2021. Realizing, we made the right choice while listening to friends who have to pick up extra shifts and find one more job to afford things they used to afford in the past with no problems. It's all about surviving now, not about living. If I had a choice, I would have stayed in Saskatoon, and wouldn't have moved to a smaller place just to be able to go on vacation. Too bad, you have to choose one or the other now. We are contemplating about our next step as well. It might be one of Eastern European countries, we'll see what the future holds for us. Certain things in germany makes it too attractive for some people. For me it's Ausbildung as I was never good at theoretical education but was an intelligent student at the same time. I can be better at physics when compared to a student with higher grades. In my country even top students can't secure their career so how can I. So this makes germany attractive for me but again learning german language is challenging for me.

love the nostalgic beginning of the video, indeed it is sad how many people are forced to leave Canada simply for a few common factors including cost of living vs quality of living. what is happening to Vancouver is sad too. I've been there for 15 years. Now for a few months in Eastern Europe. quite interesting to compare some things. I forgot how good it feels to not to wait for a check-up with a doctor for many weeks and cancel the appointment in frustration. There are countries where testing your health is much easier apparently. even though I rarely even go to doctors.

Ease of life in Germany is less when compared to other EU countries. In terms of cost of living it is better than EU countries. So it’s a choice . Can’t expect good life. \n\nAlso, expecting foreigners to speak German is insane. Imagine you go to a doctor and he wants you to explain the illness in German and worst part is they know English but wouldn’t like to speak .\n\nWhen Germany say they have shortage of (x)k skilled immigrants, can they accomodate them ? Can they provide kita places for their children ? and other minimum facilities ?\n\nMy opinion, if we know German things can get easy but not all problems shall be solved. We just need to live with them .

My family immigrated here in the 1950s out of war torn Europe for a better life. Things have changed so much since I was a kid in the 80s and 90s. Toronto was a safe city with a good vibe. Things were reasonably affordable. Trudeau didn't start a lot of the problems, but he massively accelerated them. Government is openly hostile to basically anyone who was born here. They sold out the country to wealthy foreigners. I make a decent income but I still can't afford a house. Taxes are killing me. My doctor is horrible, but I can't find a new one. Civil liberties went right out the window. The people are cold and sullen. Crime is getting bad. Life just feels like it gets a little worse every year. I've been mulling it over for a long time, but might finally be time to head south. There's got to be something better than this, because I'm getting older and life now just feels like going through the motions.

I agree with you leaving. I am a 3rd generation retired Canadian who used to be proud to be so. Now I am not, in fact I am embarrassed to say I am Canadian as it is nothing to be proud of. I think of how good things were in the 70's and 80's while I was young and now how bad things are today and it is truly depressing. Back then if you are willing to work, you could make a decent living, buy a car, a house and raise a family - today, good luck with that. The people in the west have had no say in the faulty governments we have had as Ontario and Quebec have put the final nails in our coffin when they elected that buffoon JT for a third consecutive term and then the NDP kisses his butt to join up and torture us more when most sane Canadians did not ask for this. I understand peoples idea of leaving Canada. That's okay, you can do that. I'll never leave Canada. It's my home, it's gonna be my home. Visiting foreign countries is one thing, but living in a foreign country is a different thing, especially if you're not born and raised there. Every country have the good parts and their issues. Good luck with your decision, and always remember your roots. Having travel to many parts of this world and experiences I'll never forget, never give up your Canadian citizenship. After trying to make up my mind to move to a foreign country, I discovered my home is where my roots are. This is where I returned to and this is where I'll stay now with no thoughts of ever leaving again.

It's sad to see how governments around the world have abandoned their people and their culture with an agenda that clearly is shared amongst the elites of the world. If you step back and analyse countries throughout North America and a good portion of Europe, its evident there is a common goal they all share. Whether it's the WEF or NWO, there is a group orchestrating the demise of civilization. My wife and I are planning on moving far away from Southern Ontario in the hopes we can still find the essence of being Canadian in the east coast. Beyond that we will travel to the Orient in winters... for now. Somehow Poland accepted Ukrainian refugees with open arms. And why yes, some commit crimes and behave in unbecoming ways but vast majority learned to speak polish,work polish jobs and uphold cultural and social norms. Having lived in migrant-rich places in UK and Scandinavia, this is simply not the case with migrants from Islamic countries. Their culture, heavily influenced by religion, doesn't have the same values, promotes seclusion from unbelievers and using unbeliever's resources at will because they see non-muslims as beneath them.There are Muslim women in Sweden who are there for 20+ years and speak NONE of the language. The epidemic of sexual abuse , property crime and gang violence, the statistics about learning the language, culture, statistics about employment, even personal interviews are good enough proof that majority of these migrants aren't willing to uphold our rules, our culture and are NOT going to be suitable citizens of Europe. Why should we be paying for people who gleefully admit to not wanting to work and feeling entitled to social benefits? Only France and UK were colonial empires, the rest of Europe had NOTHING to do with the state of Middle East.\nWe sympathise with people wanting to escape from religious fundamentalism, from fear of retribution for their identity and there are separate programmes for them. However we have every right not to want Islam and it's rules and it's fanatics anywhere close - religion is a remnant of the middle age and religious fundamentalism, be it Christian of Muslim is nothing more than an excuse to be hateful and bigoted. Europe has worked hard to free itself from that kind of mentality, to have majority of people who genuinely believe in things like gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights, disabled rights, right to healthcare, equality under law and so on - vast majority of which are not compatible with what vast majority of practicing Muslims believe. They don't like us, they don't like the way we behave and dress, they don't want to live like us and follow the same rules- why are they here if not for the resources? If they were there for human rights issues, they wouldn't be bringing the opressive faith that is the source of the human rights violations in their homeland.

But where will you go? The States? England? France? Mexico? I’m OK in Montreal. If I were to move I would go to Uruguay, Costa Rica or Spain. Things are expensive everywhere in the world. The good thing about Canada is that we don’t have to spend tons of money in Defence. What I don’t like is that our Government is using my money to fund a war in Ukraine.

Born and raised in Canada but left in 1999. I have only been back 3 times and although I retired in 2015, I have decided to not move back, maybe never. I am absolutely heart broken about it because I love the country I grew up in. Been traveling full time ( no home base ) since retirement and we keep looking for a place to call home. We are ending a 2+ year stay in South America and are now headed to Japan, just for the heck of it, change of scenery. We are not too keen on hot and humid but we still want to visit SEA. My family goes back so many generations in Canada. I left for 15 years and was forced back during Covid. I am thinking omg ..what has happened to my country. .? I hear what you’re saying and I feel it too. I am sure I will leave again soon and hopefully for good …such a sad thing for me to say but it’s the truth .

Respect - good for you for being bold and taking the leap into the unknown/ new adventure. With so many countries now offering a digital nomad visa, that fits your business, I think you could do the transition successfully and lower your cost of living as well, plus also have many amazing adventures. \nI lived abroad in Spain, and I am in a completely different life stage than you, and I returned to Canada as many things are easier being in Canada as a Canadian (and some other factors specific to my own situation). No regrets, it was great even if I started my adventure 2 months before COVID hit and changed things.\nEnjoy your new adventures and I will continue to enjoy them vicariously.

I am sorry to hear this. I am in the same boat. I moved here around 37 years ago and found this country much better compared to my old country, especially when the army killed students. I decided to stay in Calgary, Canada. What makes me sad is seeing Canada going down the drain. While seeing everything getting worse, my old country becomes a prosperous, advanced and powerful country. My classmates back there were mostly high-level leaders, and some of them became elites. As the best student in the class, I could not get position even close to theirs. Only good thing is that I have been making a lot of money due to my strong technical knowledge and the capability to do difficult work. I hope I can at least maintain the same living standard when i am old, but it looks less and less certain. If I realized this at your age, I would have moved back.

You shouldn’t have to explain why. Anyone who doesn’t see the obvious of what’s happening must be blind. Good for you. You’re doing the right thing. The key is choosing the right re-location.

I was watching your video and it hurts me with how things are nowadays with everything skyrocketing in prices and the job market is not doing well, at least over here in Florida. I live in Miami and it's an expensive city to live in but the economy is not doing well here but overall I do love the city of Miami as I was born and raised here for the majority of my life. If you ever decide to move to the USA to the state of Florida, Central Florida is affordable and the cost of living is better than South Florida and the environment is more mellow. There aren't any opportunities in Germany. A bunch of locals think they are the smartest. My best friend has 10 years of PM experience in manufacturing (Canada, China, Japan). The first thing they do is complain that his German is not good. Dude has C1. Then just hire a local guy to run the factory. Actually they do. Can see the result. Made in Germany is worse year after year.?

Too bureaucratic, no foreigners in the higher echelons of management, latent xenophobia (even in medical field!!!), overpaid but bad public transport. The only good thing is that the wages are OK, not too low but still comfortable. I would advise people to seek their future in the Nordics or NL.
