It saddens me that I don’t see our own teens and workers in food service and other services now. Where did they go? Before you saw a mixture of all races in the workplace. Now it seems we are the minority who paid taxes for years, and cannot reap the rewards of home ownership or good healthcare or savings because we are taxed to the extreme with everyone else reaping the benefits. We need local kids going to our universities to become doctors etc. Pay their tuition then post them to empty positions in their own province so we can have health care. Let our own kids in!!!

Eastern countries culture will never be watered down, yet we aren’t allowed to keep our westernised countries. I have no issue with being a multi-cultural country (Australia), however I take issue with multiculturalism. Immigrants of the past, would move to a westernised country and adopt the culture, lifestyle , mix with the locals and be proud to be one of them, that’s a multi-racial society. Multiculturalism on the other hand is Muslims and Indians etc that are known for not assimilating, instead living in enclaves and recreating their home country within our country. Why should these people who have zero interest in our culture , people and way of life be welcomed into our westernised countries where all they care about is using our resources? I am a third generation Canadian and i have been a successful investor and am a millionaire. Things are pretty great in Canada if you have money. I suppose leaving for a tax free haven is something to consider but people would be surprised how tolerable things in Canada are when you have money. For example, if the weather is too cold then go live in the Caribbean for a few months. If health care is a problem then go buy health care from private medical care or go to the US for healthcare. More people should try and become wealthy by taking advantage of how the financial pros operate on Wall Street. It is relatively easy but you do need to read a lot of reports and books. A lot of problems that people perceive in Canada go away when you have a bit of money.??

I'm 54 years old and i moved away from my beautiful Canada over 2 years ago. I knew when Eastern Welfare Canada voted in Turdo that he would destroy it and put us in debt like every Liberal government does. I hope everyone who voted this POS in office is enjoying the high prices and the struggles you are going through everyday, because its here to stay for the next decade as that POS will leave Canada after leaving office with 100's of millions he has stolen from us. Maybe next, you will use your brain cells and vote in something who actually cares about the country.

This guy helped a lot of Canadians during COVID when a huge number of Canadian health care workers abandoned their jobs. Or, is everyone forgetting that? We bring immigrants in, because Canadians don't have enough children to keep the country running and the pension system going. And, yet ... you want to send this guy away. I'm amazed at the ignorance of some people.

I feel bad for those who were duped into coming here to Canada. They had big dreams of becoming successful here, instead not being able to do that and being forced to live in cramped accommodations. I work in healthcare, and a lot of people who work in the facility in which I'm employed were brought here from the Philippines and India, mostly. Some were hired directly by this employer, while others came here some other way. Those with professions like being an RN were under the impression that it wouldn't take that long or be that difficult to get their Canadian certification to work as RNs here. Instead, they found out that the process for that here in Canada is a lot tougher and takes a lot longer than they'd been led to believe. So many are left not being able to use their education to its fullest, instead working as care aides until they can get the proper certification. I know that this has also happened with doctors and engineers and to many in other professions for which they went to school for years. It's a real shame.\n\nThis massive influx of people coming from other countries, though, has been really tough on those of us who were already living here. It's been way too many people, and we just weren't prepared. It's been one of the biggest factors in the huge increase of cost of living and, of course, it's by far the reason we have an enormous housing shortage.\n\nI'm not completely anti-immigration, but I think that it needs to be stopped, at least for a while. Let us deal with what's going on now instead of bringing in more people that would only help to make things worse, through no fault of their own. There's no reason that we need to have more people coming here right now. We have way more than enough people here right now.

Most of Chinese students would apply to top tier university and majors only, if they didn't got in they switch to other countries like AU or UK, US or just go back to china. However a lot of indians doesn't care about the college rating or even major, they just came here to work anyway.

There was an incident were a cricket match was going to be shown in the mega plex put they did not show it something happened that was not mega plexes fault that it was not being shown there was a group of Indian students who started screaming at the ticket counter. The 2022 -2023 batch on international students are a disgrace not saying g all of them are bad just most dont come to study just a back door into the country they see one of there family members went to Canada and they should to ?‍♀️. Lived in the US for 4 years and bought 5 rental properties in my home country. Now I'm retired at the age of 34. It was the best decision I have ever made. I am now building a business and want to expand to Canada for my actual retirement. The US is great to work but when it's time to settle down I'd rather choose a slower country.\n\nBut tbh it can also be achieved in a good republican state in the US but I am assuming there will be a civil war there with all the woke ridiculous stuff happening there. I am from Bangladesh. I did my masters here and working full time with a blue card visa. It will take for my wife and daughter to get a visa appointment in Bangladesh 24 months minimum. It is super sad and everyday I am getting more and more depressed. And the ambassador there does not even care. He keeps saying they have staff shortage and it has going on since the covid. Do you think I would feel welcomed? Of course no. To be honest, I would not probably plan to stay for too long myself.

Hey, to all you people from Europe, how about you take a look at what your own country did in the middle east, aswell as what America did. \n\nDid your countries not go there? Did they not shell the cities and houses there? \n\nAnd if you don't think it is your countries fault, but America's or Canada's fault, why has your country not protested their actions? I’m a Korean American who has lived here my entire life since birth. I have lived in many other places and the thing about immigrants is they ALWAYS share the same traits wherever they go. \nI live in an affluent area and whenever the immigrants from poor countries come in they all do the same things…throw trash and litter everywhere, the attitude of “I made it just like you therefore I deserved to be treated like a king”..telling them to turn down the music at 2am and not understanding why so instead you are met with argumentative resistance instead of them just saying “hey we’re sorry won’t happen again, we don’t want to be that guy in this neighborhood. Our apologies” but nope. They continue to do it night after night and the audacity to even get angry. The crowding of all of their families in disrepspectful ways such as cutting in line while everyone else is patiently waiting, if there is free samples of food, they will group up and annihilate whatever they are offering not even caring about anyone else but their own. Leaving a very bad image for us East Asians when people from the red flag dragon nation come in droves. Being extremely loud in public while talking about petty nonsensical things most times but they yell and laugh not caring whoever else is around. Even if the room is quiet they have zero situational awareness, never putting things back when they grab them from stores or gym etc. they expect someone to pickup and do this for them. The entitlement ?….if something is on sale they don’t understand to take just one or two, they have to take the entire box so no one else can get it. \nI his list never ends and they don’t understand why people don’t want them living in their countries. It’s not just Germany it’s everywhere. \nHow do you expect people to like you when you make it difficult to do so.

Girl, if you speak Russian, you should go live in Russia! Russia's economy is booming right now. Canada and the USA are dead. I live in Illinois, born and raised. My Russian wife currently lives in Moscow, Russia where she was born and raised along with our 24 year old daughter. I must remain here in Southern Illinois because I have a lot of rental property I must tend to, while my Russian wife is living the good life in Moscow, where life is extremely affordable and the cost of utilities and health care is extremely low, with no taxes! Western countries are dead. You are one of the lucky ones, being able to get out of Canada for good. Lots of Westerners are fleeing Western countries for a much better, more affordable, quality of life. Get out while you can!

US as a better place to go?have you tried to get a green card, checked the rents in cities Like San Francisco or NYC, their health care, non existing public transport, graduate debts at the end of uni, gun crime....??? Would you not expect to know English when you live there? Everyone needs to look at their own priorities.

Going Expat makes a lot of sense #DigitalNomadWorld I did it for decades saved major money. I became elderly came back for Excellent Covered Medical Care and cheap low cost living in the US. Like Canada there are still places that are nice and affordable.
