Coming from an Indian who has worked in overseas for the last 10 years - I hate to see Indian tourists with their noisy behaviour , bad manners & indecent attitude towards women (especially those from north & east India)- Like someone pointed out Indian government should step in give some basic training to Indians travelling abroad.and ban those who misbehave overseas- for pointers just see the video of Indians tourists bad behaviour aboard a Thai airlines flight

Palkhi as much as I like watching your news your views here need to address real issues. I am a proud Indian who has lived in the UK for over 50 years. However I have to say whilst there are a lot of highly skilled Indian immigrants on work visas who contribute immensely to this country. however we now have a huge community of Indians those who have come over on illegal documents or on holiday visas and then never go back. They end up working in menial jobs or not working at all and perhaps this is an issue India needs to address. Sadly these immigrants will never be an economically contributing asset to this country or any other country and I am not surprised that the visa rate rejection is so high.

There are too many Indians everywhere you go in the world, too many still trying to get out of India. Working in Canada at a fast food restaurant gives someone from India (Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow....) a better standard of living than a middle class living in India. States like UP, Bihar, MP, Rajasthan... still living in 18th century. Gujjus were the first to got out and then Punjabis and then everyone, they damaged the reputation of Indians a lot.

There are enough Indians all over Europe, Americas and Australia. Many of them specially in the USA and Canada are illegal in high numbers. In Canada and USA, Indians have ruined their own reputation by getting involved into fraud activities, breaking laws of the host countries by bringing people from India and making them work illegally. So, naturally, the rejection rates are much higher for tourist visa and not for business visas as such. The solution is India should build infrastructure inside the country so that people don't need to rush abroad for a better life. Equality doesn't mean providing access to anyone who can potentially misuse the resource of a country.

Indian do not have good reputation in Europe. They come Europe and work cash in hand. Which put pressure on local employees. Most of the Asian countries doing same, so no doubt why European government are stepping in about visas..

In New Zealand and Australia they used to be professionals from India but now 4/10 working in supermarkets billing, getting the ? back, subway are Indians loud, speaking their mother tongue ..major culprits are Punjabi, Hindi, Telugu and behave badly, bought to think western woman are easy. Lots of phone scammers have already got the Green card in the USA. Scammers were given student visa by carriers and they work as couriers. Stealing from poor people.\nIn UK ALL of scam calls I am getting are from Kolkata. They steal poor pensioners without any heart. Heartless and cruel. Indian students miss behave, laugh and talk louder on the high streets, drop waste on the street. Truthfulness, kind heartless should be part of education system. There are several reasons. First off, a few Indians do certain scams that affect the country. Some students from india who apply for student visas dont go to school to study, but instead take advantage of going to work there. Indian dicipline, some countries like europe and singapore complained that indian tourists tend to be rude or dont have proper manners

Improve trade and cut H4 visas for US as i have no idea on other countries. H4 visa housewives will really depressed in a country like US. because of depression crime rate will be more.? sometimes you wont have any indian friends near by even it has more indian immigrants. Give jobs to indians who are living there for generations. They must have contributed tons of inputs larger foreign trade income etc... Ask their inputs and India should make policies supportive or non supportive to indians. Dont send indians. They will suffer. At the same time getting Indian visa is also not so easy. Ranking may also depend on number of tourists who want to visit. Indians these days in far reaching in numbers due to the middle class economic upliftment. It is not that India is equated with tiny unknown countries.\nNext as far as the visa rejections are concerned very few student visas and work visas are rejected. So educated lot are not rejected. Most of the rejected visas could be tourist visas, who want to go there in disguise of tourists who actually propose to go as domestic or business helpers. Of course the visa fee is high. That could be discouraging point for many who want to go for just earning and also a source of income for those governments to compensate wages to be paid to their white workers to handle umteen number of applications.

I have been able to visit Vietnam, Nigeria(office work) & Bali . Not much compared to others I agree. But the behaviour of Indian Language speaking Tourist in these countries is really really horrible. No matter how much these sold out News Anchor or our leader peddle false narrative that Indians are respected our passport etc etc. Indians are least preferred cause of the attitude issue. Even Nigeria whom we mock cause of look and color are more decent than us. Indian deserve this.

Im from Tamilnadu and while abroad i worked in shell for a shutdown i saw north indians workers spitting pan just before the englishmen and I, as an engineer from the same nationality as these backward people have to feel 2nd hand embarrassment for what these people do.\nMany in kerala and Tamilnadu behave well and have good manners. Unfortunately the majority of north Indians are like this excluding some guys who are very well behaved than me. Not out of hate but out of frustration.

I really hope these rejection news is real and support H1-b freeze, we indian Americans unable to find job in IT due to over saturation. Mainly due to telugu people by the support of agency create fake resume, fake experience and even agency help them with attending phone interview. Thus legit Citizens unable to find work

The passport ranking is because of how Indians behave in general. If I was a nation I would make sure I don't let too many Indians in. And I would also make sure that the process is difficult enough to dehumanize them as they try to get to my country. \n\nAs an Indian I am happy that this is happening. At least now we will all work towards building this nation up to serve all our needs instead of fighting with others to let them into their house.

Indians are peddled this dream that everything outside is a heaven since early childhood. They see pictures of skyscrapers in Manhattan, London and Frankfurt and think everyone is living like that outside. These people are further brainwashed by immigration agencies and disguised human traffickers to put lakhs or even crores on the line for just going outside. They sell their lands, properties and other assets just to be able to go out pursuing a misleading dream.\n\nThis is a problem especially in states like Punjab, Gujarat, Telangana, Andhra and Kerala, where most of the people still believe that it's better living outside than inside. These are not people who don't have anything in India but rather well-to-do families that have homes and assets and families in the country. \n\nThen comes the added Western bias and negative media image through propaganda. \n\nIndia has much work to do - if the country keeps complaining, nothing will get done.

Stay in your country and contribute your work in nation building. I am indian myself and at any cost i would prefer myself to stay in my country and I'll contribute my little effort in nation building, not to roam around the glob for money greed. Why Indians are desperate to escape India inspite of BJP’s golden rule? Can’t modiji create more jobs, clean living and no corruption? Tourist visa visitors are also working cash jobs in US. Some don’t leave. Huge number of illegal Indians that crossed border will be shipped back.

It’s the fault of Indians , most of them breach the conditions of their visas especially students from Punjab who take unfair advantage here in the U.K. They work for more than 20 hrs which is allowed under student visa. It’s your duty to study only rather than working some shit job. Deliveroo and other food delivery apps also get plenty of of Indians who are students so do not blame the prime minister or foreign countries , teach your children how to behave properly.

Come as a tourist or hidden in a truck, work as a take away driver. \n\nMany Indians say dual citizenship leads to dual loyalty, if U.K. or USA open up their country to India. Except the 5% of the rich 95% will emigrate for economic reasons.\n\nOnly solution is for India to grow exponentially with our per capita income rivalling that of the west.

Not so with India and its 1.5 billion population, many of whom want to migrate only because the neighbour's/aunt's/uncle's son also went abroad. Announce a liberal visa regime for Indians one day, and within a year, your country would start looking like Chandigarh or Ahmedabad. While most countries are ok with some diversity, no one wants to be overrun by foreigners, even if the foreigners in question are Indians who are generally law abiding and hard working. And then there are the 'smarter ' types who fake documents and produce bogus certificates to get visas and even pay human smugglers to take them abroad if their visas are rejected. It's for all these reasons why India's passport is ranked at 85. The only reason why India doesn't fall even further is because there are bigger basket cases like India's 'friendly' neighbors who are sitting tight below.\nIf India wants equitable treatment, it should first make itself the best place in the world for an Indian to live and work in. The more you rely on the others for visas, the more likely they are to refuse you.

The question should be , why Indians are migrating instead of working in there country ? you always blame the west for colonial mental and yet most of you are migrating to western countries , go to Russia instead and find a work , you always praise crazy putin then go to Russia !
