I have tried to do the process thousands of time and it costs me thousand of dollars to take the English tests and finish many papers... and yet i have no chance of even getting closer of going to Canada...while i see here people are crossing the border easily!!

The thing that really pisses me off is that these illegal entries also gum up and slow down the process for legit asylum seekers and legit immigration petitioners who do obey the law. I saw a news report at the San Ysidro crossing where they interviewed a mother of three young children who had a legitimate asylum reason (which still has to be determined in court) who had been trying for over two years to enter legally. The system just didn’t have capacity because of the illegal crossings in the region taking up all of USCIS resources. This woman had no resources and was sleeping on the streets in Tijuana (not safe) trying to survive and care for her kids and she had the resolve to continue to doing things legally. \n\nPeople bitch about America being unsympathetic — what about people like this woman? You gonna say she should give up obeying the law and try to jump the border? What if you came home from work and found a homeless woman and her three kids eating out of your fridge? \n\nWalls don’t keep people out. They have doors. Go to the door and ask to be let in. \n\nIf the illegal crossings stopped, and America refused to answer the door? Then maybe you got an argument for harsh treatment.

You are required to go on paid leave for 28 days a year. 12 public holidays.\n\n8) Sexual minorities. OK hear me out, I’m a Jewish American but I have always been quite critical of Israel especially in the last 3 decades under the Likud government it’s nationalism and imperialism, with regard to its settlements and attitudes to Palestine. That said… Every time we’re close to creating good world sympathy for a Palestinian state, the power-hungry radicals of the Palestinian people always somehow ruin the progress, taking advantage of a power vacuum, and it’s stirring up the people once again that Israel Has to be destroyed off the face of the map. Then on top of that, during peaceful times with momentum for a two state solution, something always ruins it, in this case it was Hamas, seizing power over Gaza with the statement that Israel needed to be destroyed. Then Israel made sanctions to try to make that government fail, but, of course, as we know, it only starved the people and made them angrier and then they did this awful, unspeakable, brutal attack. Hamas is still attacking to this day. If Hamas wants to cease fire, they need to also stop attacking Israel and come to the table and come up with a two states solution and accept Israel. Israel is of course going too far as they often do but it’s a tough call as to what Israel should really be doing right now, while their constantly under attack and threat from their neighbors in a very active way every day.

You don't waltz into someone's home and try to make it yours, instead be humble, courteous and show gratitude for the accommodation. Canada has been my home for the past 23 years. I will consider myself as a successful immigrant, my son born in Canada is at leading engineering university. My wife fulfilled with her career. The answer is yes. Those students know that it is a ticket to stay. A foot in the door. They are a strain on government services, housing, food banks and most come here without proper resources that is one of the requirements for entry. Even if they pay more it shouldn't take spaces that Canadian should be entitled to. They take jobs that belong to Canadians, housings that belong to Canadians. In london ontario close to 12 thousand international students take up the affordable housing for people of london. This causes so much distress on the low income people try to find a place .Then greed of developers and landlords causes the rents to go up so much that those on fixed incomes can't afford there rents and rent evictions happen as landlord look to cash in . Time to stop this madness. Local government in london has done little to stop this issue either.

Most western places are becoming crime problems with the US leading the way. Who is committing most of the crimes in large cities? How tough are the authorities in dealing with crime? Compare serious crimes in a city like Moscow or Bejing to a Los Angeles or NYC. In the US there are numerous instances in major cities of criminal mobs entering stores and taking what they want and leaving w/o paying because retail theft has been decriminalized. Try running your small business in that kind of environment so we have businesses closing and moving out of the cities. That is why we have noise bylaws here in Canada, we don't want cars etc. honking horns constantly like in some countries. Same with loud speakers. I find church bells and someone on a motorcycle or a firetruck, while i'm trying to sleep at night bad enough. We had an ice cream truck here in eastern Ontario not allowed to play their music due to a complaint, which i think is overboard. But there is a reason for noise bylaws. Like i'm not allowed to blast Rock Music in my yard or apartment, i'd have the police show up due to a noise complaint. I think this is a wonderful idea. I truly feel most Muslims would be happier living in Muslim countries. Muslims who come to Western countries, and want to try to change them, are fighting a loosing battle and it just makes it so unpleasant for everyone. The two cultures do not mix at all, so unless you can, or want, to assimilate into the society….. it is always better to move to the place that fees like home, and has the values you want to pass on to your children. We live in Houston, Texas, where the culture is more conservative. Parents are not told how to raise their children, cost of living is still relatively good, and being Muslim (wife wears hijab) hasn't been as challenging as other places. \n\nPlenty of Muslims from all over, mosques, Islamic schools, halal food, etc too. \n\nMy parents moved my siblings and I from Los Angeles to Karachi, when I was 12. Not so much for religious reasons, more homesickness. After a miserable 15 yrs, I moved back to the US. \n\nI'm not trying to dissuade you guys. Wanted to share a few key things to help your transition:\n1. Pilot it out. Move to Istanbul for 6 months, then maybe Kuala Lumpur for another 6 months, etc. Test out each location. Inflation is everywhere. Not all Islamic countries are Islamic. But you have to experience it first hand. \n2. Take LOTS of money. A decent life outside the first world means you're loaded. \n3. Build connections where ever you go. The things we take for granted are luxuries elsewhere. Water, electricity, gas. Connections help you get what you need, sometimes for a price. \n4. Schools will be underwhelming. If you can homeschool, cool. \n5. If you start a business, go solo. Don't partner up with others. \n\nIn any case, hope it works out inshaAllah. Who knows, we may be neighbors!

All the difficulties in Western countries as a practicing Muslim. My wife wants to move to Canada & she always keeps pressuring me to take steps to move on to Canada but I am not that much interested for the same reasons you mentioned here. My sister lives in Saskatoon & she wants to help me with the relative points to move to Canada. I always try to make them understand my views. But they don't understand. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions and the various other benefits, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia.

That's why so many people are leaving Canada, it is because of economic hardship forcing them to try to find a cheaper place where they can have a better quality of life.

I’m Hispanic and I don’t appreciate this behavior from people coming to this country in this manner. It’s not sustainable and it’s going to throw the country off balance. These people need to go back and try to overthrow their government and restart the country with a better crop of politicians. If a country opens its borders to Palestinian refugees, they facilitate Israel’s objective of flattering Gaza and ethically cleansing the land to allow for further expansion and illegal settlement. Israel want to get rid of Palestine and all its people, chasing them out and killing those who are too slow. By standing their ground, the Arab world are forcing the west to see what they have supported and see what Israel are doing and encouraging them to change and to act and to stop the genocide. But it is also at the expense of tens of thousands of lives and an entire nations facilities. The Arab world are letting the bodies pile high until the west can't look away any more. I understand both sides of this and dislike both options, letting Palestinians die, and letting Israel take Gaza by accepting refugees. I can't say I support Saudi Arabias actions, but I also would feel the same if they opened their doors to refugees. Neither one are the right solution, and only we westerners can make this stop. And believe me, I am trying to do my part. I have signed. I have shared. I have donated. I have protested. And I will continue to do so until there is a free Palestine

Arab countries have said before they won't take them because they cause trouble when they have accepting them in the past. They have tried to violently overthrow Arab governments who kindly welcomed them. They even assassinated an Arab King and attempted to assassinate his son, so they already refused to take them, no matter how eloquently he speaks.
