Here’s my story, At the age of 48, I ventured to Canada in Sep 2022 ??. My goal was to settle there ?. I found a helper to arrange LMIA, and almost everything was set. I paid an initial amount of Rs $5000 ?. After 3 months in Vancouver, my experience was terribly sad ?. I decided to return to India ??. It turned out to be the best decision of my life. ? I am a old white man born and raised in Canada...our youth born in Canada don't give a crap about us old folks...then these young men and women that come to Canada for a education and residence show up from India...and bang in an instant I am noticed...do you know why because these young adults were raised to respect their elders...they are hard workers (some holding down three part time jobs) they pau their rent...they are polite and smart...with all this said they are also humans who have a limit. If they stay in Canada and contribute to our society here or go back to their own country using what they learned here to better off their communities in India...it doesn't change a thing...because they are so mature and i am proud that they call me a stranger UNCLE and exchange greetings to me all the time. I might not remember how to say their names but i am good with faces and i return the gestures willingly. It is true they have a hard time finding work that fits their educational title but they never give up and will work hard in any field with patience. I understand they are having a hard time but more Canadians should reach out and listen to them...they will teach you too. What a wonderful culture they bring to our country. To all the young Indian (Indus) women and men that come to Canada hold your heads up high and your parents should be proud of you.

Canada is like that job you get to use it as a stepping stone to go somewhere better. toronto is the most warmest point of canada. the density of the population in this portion is getting real thick. traffic gridlocks 24/7. difficulty with finding jobs. people dont trust each other even more. it's terrible. unaffordable housing that affects nationwide.

Why is the healthcare system considered great? It's truly appalling. I had to wait 8 hours for my son to see the doctor at a Children's Hospital for a check-up on his diarrhea, and the doctor only needed five minutes to complete the entire examination. I've never encountered such a terrible healthcare system anywhere on this planet.

The shelters for single men in Toronto are terrible, for the most part. The majority of people don’t understand the plight of the homeless and blame them for the situation they are in! It’s a judgement made out of ignorance of people, who are so far removed from their reality.\n\nIt’s not just bad in Toronto … other cities are facing the same problem. What’s causing this? We had to move out from Brampton bc it become terrible place to live. 3000 sq ft beautiful homes in nice subdivision. House next to us, 4 families in one house crowded like rats. Indian music playing laud in garage on Sundays. About 15 kids seating on top of 6 ft fence staring in our backyard. Couldn’t enjoy life anymore. Crime start to spike. Today people blame on Liberals, however that was during Conservative government of Brian Mulroney. Those immigrants destroy city. I hope they all leave Canada.

Biggest issue in Canada is infrastructure. Canadian infrastructure and urban planning is a copy of post war American suburbia abd the results are that it has made housing impossible as the current rules basically has abolished any construction of missing middle housing for the middle class in 90% of Canadian neighborhoods for housing. Infrastructure and services in medium and small cities are nowhere near major city hub making big city centers expensive not even mentioningthe terrible public transportation they have ( for a G7 nation is an embarrassment that their passenge rail service is 40 years behind Europe) . In addition foreign degrees even from English nations are not recognized and it takes years and resources to get accreditation.

Factual and overall very true. I was born in east Vancouver in 1951 and worked in the city for 34 years so I feel qualified to support your expose. Friends? Terrible place to meet people in general. It’s a Lower Mainland thing not Canada and not BC. I ask people weekly where they grew up and friendliest people are from small towns or possibly blue collar Vancouverites over 55. Home values and jobs have produced a generation of angry youngsters feeling hopeless.

I don't blame you, I was born and raised in Canada and its not what like what it was 20-30 years ago. On top of a crappy climate and endless gray days, terrible health services, falling standards of living no thanks to Trudeau. Canada's golden period frankly in the 1970s its been in decline since overall, there was a brief boom in the late 2000s/early 2010s under Harper but its all but evaporated.

Im a skilled construction worker who wants to build my own home but permits alone here in ontario are 250 thousand just to start. This is why houses are not being built and existing houses are worth more. The problem is the fees and permits. Terrible regulation of the housing building sector is what caused the supply of houses to be insufficient for any population let alone big groups of immigrants. ALSO HOW THE F.
