I live in New York. Been wanting to leave for 10 years now because I wasn't able to have a social life here. I met a friend that is Canadian and thought leaving the the US might be better. I would like to give Canada a chance.

By illegally working in Canada and the USA, illegal aliens cause wages to reduce because they are willing to work for lowere wages. That might improve the lives of the illegal aliens, but it harms the lives of citizens and legal residents who depend upon those jobs to make a living.\nPlease stay in India (or wherever you live). I really recommend choosing to pay your utility bill in equal payments. Utility bills are less in the summer so you could get a surprise expense in the winter. You might have to contact your utility company to start an equal payment plan. Keep in mind that there still might be an amount left over at the end of the year.

The Ford EV one of my friends drive was made in Mexico. Another friend told me that her refrigerator and tv was made in Mexico as well. So, I think the general population is (including myself) a little ignorant about where the household items we use everyday come from. Germany is no longer having shortage of skilled workers. Recently many big companies have fired thousands of workers because of losses in their respective business (Can be googled). Be careful if you are planning to go to Germany for work. You might end up mending streets or cleaning toilets or working as a nurse for old people. Because these are the jobs, which nobody wants to do in Germany.

That can’t be good. Putting a 25% tariff on Canada and Mexico could cause a lot of problems. First, they might fight back by adding their own tariffs on U.S. goods, which would hurt American farmers and businesses that sell products to those countries. It would also make things we buy, like cars and food, more expensive, which isn’t great for anyone.

Canadians are friendly and apologize a lot to strangers but do not want any new friends. You can have casual engaging chats with people but don’t think that makes you on-track to make a friend like you might in the USA.

It might look like Canada has a lot of land but this land is owned and even other canadians cannot afford to live here. If a fourth generation canadian cannot get a job, then why should another country come here. We are trying to get our education system to improve and we cannot do that if there are so many people who have a better education from another country. we cannot afford to do this. Canadian life includes Canadian culture, we do not want to learn your culture, as we were born here. if you want to come here, you need to learn canadian culture.

After such a terrible ending it's really making me not want to bother listening to anything else from this author/channel. Does anyone know if all their endings are trash or just this one...? It’s interesting how politically charge anti-immigrant sentiment is blurring the lines between legal and illegal immigration and tend to showcase ethnic minorities. I wouldn’t be too surprised that the issue eventually becomes so overblown to include all visible minorities whom might be American-born yet targeted by the have-nots in white-America. This is akin to sentiment in 1942 Germany blaming the Jews for misfortune.

It is funny how you forget to mention the other side of things. You are supposed to be impartial, not side with one party or the other. While it might cost $20B to deport illegal immigrants, as of right now there are estimates between $150B and $450B a year of taxpayer money to keep them in the country. So even if you are not good at math, I'd prefer to spend $20B on every 1M, to stop wasting every year $150B. \nYour biases show a lot!

I understand traveling for years outside Canada for the last decade will put you far out of the Candian market. If you followed the traditional work-invest in Canada approach you might feel different. As a baby boomer, I am set and my nieces and nephews who have entered the market early, they all have homes. If you are just coming to Canada now, blame the Trudeau immigration plan that has overwhelmed the system. In 5 to 10 years we may have caught up, I will be gone but the current immigrants will be in good shape. Leaving now will just put you further behind in Canada unless you can find some place that will pay you an outrageous salary and no taxes. Good luck.
