For me personally, it's not the people themselves (one on one), I've met very nice/respectful East Indians. That being said, I learned at as very young age, I'm talking 80's, is that when they buy a business, you're as good as gone. Despite what the gov't says, ahhhh, they'll assimilate, they'll contribute to Canadian society. It's bullsh*t, they buy a business, a manufacturing facility and they replace not only white's, but also Asians and so-on with there own. I've watched what I'd refer to multi-cultural establishments get sold and only a month later be completely employed by only East Indians, it's completely racially motivated. I mean, when I was young, one of the go-to jobs for young people was at a gas station...go to any Indian owned gas station now, it's them, that's it.

One word I have learned to despise ... diversity. Not really over used or highlighted in other countries. Not just Brampton. Milton, Mississauga, Toronto, Scarborough, Markham, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa. I don't feel at home anymore when every store I go to is manned by thick accents I can barely understand. Why’s the white population declining in cities like Brampton where immigrant populations are soaring? Go to an immigrant owned business, they don’t hire white people. Go to immigrant owned rentals, they don’t house white people. So why would white Canadians move to a city or area that won’t house or employ them? Even canadian universities are turning down more and more Canadian born students in favour of international students because they pay more. It’s sad to see Canadian born youth being rejected by their own country institutes. You would never see this in India or China or Pakistan.

I moved to Canada as a child with my parents 41 years ago. It isn't just inflation and cost of living that is the problem. It's the dramatically increasing racism and discrimination, even against people who have been living in this country longer than the racists discriminating against them. Seriously? This is not the Canada that I came to as a child, grew up in, or have lived and worked in for many decades. I made the mistake of working around the world for a short time and picking up an accent that wasn't even mine originally. I had a Canadian accent before finishing elementary school. To come back to be asked to go home or 'we don't want your sort here' is not just simple racism, but hatred that makes me regret ever having agreed to taking on Canadian citizenship. My kids and grandchildren have Canadian accents and were Canadians from birth. But should they leave and return to the same crap??? What disgusts me more is that the PM dares to include immigrants with refugees, under the banner that 30% of the population are immigrants. Under the law, refugees are temporary migrants and usually nothing more. To bundle immigrants who came to Canada through legal means of applications, brought hundreds of millions dollars into Canada with them of their own hard-earned money from their own countries, to have it taxed out of them, and their families deliberately put into poverty so Canada can fulfil its 19th century-PM Macdonald immigration policy of, and I quote from a Canadian federal government website, quoting PM Macdonald directly, about breeding out the Indigeneous people, is beyond sick! The refugees get a free ride at the expense of hard-working Canadians, 90% of whom came from immigrant stock! What happens when Trudeau says these deceitful lies about legal immigrants is that the racism and discrimination increases dramatically. Canada used to be a good country, but when a person has to keep explaining where they got their job experience from and if they have any Canadian experience for every time that they look for a job in their lifetime in Canada, something is very wrong with Canada. Most jobs in Canada are blue collar and very few are white collar, yet Canada still continues to deceive the world into believing otherwise. Canada is a great vast and beautiful land, but only a small percentage of it has any infrastructure, roads, or homes sufficient to house what is a decreasing fraction of society. Refugees take preference over immigrants and citizens alike. The lie about the homeless is getting bigger. Most homeless Canadians today are veterans, elderly, disabled, mentally ill, poor, and professionals and trades people, yet Canada brings in countless professionals, claiming that their education and experience will get them into the professions that they are coming from. It's all a scam! Canadian education is not the best and yet people with better educations and job experience are being forced to spend all their money to go back to university or college to get jobs that they rarely will be hired for. Canada is not short of doctors, just short of professionals who hire professionals without using discrimination, hatred and racism for their HR kit! Many taxi drivers are doctors, engineers, and so on. So, please stop lying to the world and tell the truth. And no doubt this entry will be taken down because it offends a Canadian who doesn't want the world to know the truth.

There is no career progress and it is so expensive for everyone, they want you to work low level jobs, because a weird rite of passage like if speaking English was unique to Canada or the world is not trading with each other for the last 20 to 30 years . Complete stagnation in terms of economy, inflated house prices compared to similar markets like Texas, the country has been so reliant on natural resources that the job market is not competitive and an island. If you want to do trades go ahead if you want to work in finance, tech or anything white collar do not go to Canada. If hard working Canadians don't have money to afford groceries and are using their credit card for everything believe me as an immigrant you'll have less than that you'll be an economic slave.

Jobs are everywhere but employers know that immigrants are more disciplined, hard working and appreciative of the opportunities provided, when compared to the average Canadian-born citizen. America is a good example, Indians and Pakistanis are the most successful ethnic group, everyone else is behind. I am a old white man born and raised in Canada...our youth born in Canada don't give a crap about us old folks...then these young men and women that come to Canada for a education and residence show up from India...and bang in an instant I am noticed...do you know why because these young adults were raised to respect their elders...they are hard workers (some holding down three part time jobs) they pau their rent...they are polite and smart...with all this said they are also humans who have a limit. So brutal. I have a 15 year old looking for her first job and all her friends ate too. Guess what.....all those jobs we used to get as we entered the workforce are gone. Every single DQ A&W grocery store McDs etc jobs go to foreigners. So where will all the high school kids work? They are becoming despondent and depressed. It's really sad. I have lived in canada my whole life. \nHere are the main hurdles:\n1. Cost of realestate and cost of living. You need white collar wages just to be able to rent, not buy, rent an apartment in most major cities. Cost of homes is insane as well.\n2. Jobs often pay low wages below what is needed to afford to live unless its white collar or trades working overtime hours. The jobs that do pay well often get hundreds of applications making your chances lower.\n3. Dentists cost an arm and a leg. The cost of it is insane unless you have a really good coverage plan from your job. \n4. Healthcare moves at a snails pace. Not good if you have a serious illness or disease.\n5. The climate overall sucks. Its not cold. Its ridiculously cold.\n\nMy advice: Be made of money. \nSeriously though, have a huge savings and have a long term financial plan. Getting jobs that pay a living wage here as newcomers here are HARD to get because they always want Canadian work experience. University education from other countries other than the US, UK, or Australia don't count here. Be prepared to live very humbly unless you are just made of money.\n\nI dont even want to live in canada anymore. I am almost 40 and have very little to show for it despite working full time jobs with overtime my whole life. Looking at going almost anywhere but here. The housing crisis and cost of living are the dealbreakers for me. You shouldnt need to be making $75k/year just to afford to RENT a decent apartment. Theres something wrong here.

Housing prices are so crazy that I just rent a room and six months per year go live in developing countries of Asia. My income in Canada is only 25K as a single retired person. No home. No car. No partner or family responsibilities. No job. Cook at home only. No alsohol or drugs.\n\nSo, there are solutions. GIS and living out of a suitcase. But I still think that spending $850 per month (33% of my income) is too high.\n\nBut besides money matters, I feel like a stranger in Canada as an old straight white man. Wokeness is extreme here. I was bornin Canada and lived there for 45 years up until last November. I left to South East Asia and it's so much better out here than in Canada. I only go to Canada for 3 months back to White Rock just outside of Vancouver for the Summer. Canada is now just a Summer Vacation place for me.
