it's funny I moved to Canada a little over a year ago and I want to move back to Australia for some of the reasons you want to leave Australia and more. Housing affordability here is a pipe dream unless you like living near mountains and want a laid back life like the life in Perth, in Calgary. But Calgary's job market is not great and that pretty much extends to every province except Ontario and BC. Living cost in Canada is very high... compared to what I experienced in AU, this is more expensive than living in Sydney. (I live in Toronto but this extends to Vancouver as well.) The healthcare system is weak, inefficient and inconvenient. Bureaucracy is again very slow, inconvenient and in some cases so backwards. Banking is not great, super inconvenient, not people-centric, inefficient and very much backward imo.. work-life balance or quality of life is way better in AU. Infrastructure development is slow and not great at all for a world-class country and personally, I expected better from Toronto.. (I do understand why it is the way it is right now, some justified reasons but some not so much) Things I do give props to CA... Diversity and inclusiveness is not just marketing slogan like in AU.. I don't feel like an outsider here... Its incredible. Job market is here much better than in AU. If you're moving from a country like AU, you will feel how capitalism here is made to make more money out of you every step of the way. But also, you will see how you can use that system to make alot of money. I think Canada is a great place to live if you're an entrepreneur or business person and making money is a primary requirement. But if you're someone who loves quality of life and work-life balance and want to probably own a good house, right now CA is not there. Also this doesn't mean CA isn't great, its fantastic... but compared to AU, canada comes short in many fronts. Also I love the weather here even if we have a pretty long winter.

can't understand why people do things like this.... why on earth would somebody willingly go to the US to live there. Their country must be 100% on fire, under water while falling down a cliff into a shark tank

There are millions of undocumented Immigrants in the US that have been living here for decades… they file taxes, no crimes, and yes I understand they are not here “legally” but now these people are just entering the US and getting everything?? Work permit, social security…. Something needs to be done.

I understand the struggle of trying to come here and live the American dream. They want a safe place to take care of their children, to work without being killed for couple of cents, to have a roof under their heads and food every night at the table. Have clothes and shoes and school supplies for their kids. It saddens me especially for the kids and mothers that want the best for their kids ?

We seeing this cause them cartels are killing people in masses I don't think yah understand. If you don't work for them they hunt you down and kill your entire families. I'm Mexican, I live in Mexico but in the borderline between Mexico and United States and this immigrant behavior is just so embarrassing and unacceptable.\n\nTrump was a racist and I don't agree with the inhuman way he treated foreign people. This doesn't mean you have the right to enter to someone's house with out an invitación. They are so wrong, just proclaiming rights from other country they don't have, United States or even Mexico is NOT in obligation of helping them, we do it as a favor and they need to understand that. I feel bad for these people but I understand that America ?? should protect their country and people too. They should follow the proper process of entering to the US. A country should not just let people enter undocumented. I’m not American but I’ve been to the US for travel. The country isn’t for me. I don’t dream of living there. I’m happy I moved to Japan. Times are difficult for all of us not just them. Prices keep going up and I can’t imagine what it’s like living with minimum wage. But even for those with degrees it’s hard and I myself don’t have family, why have kids if you know you can’t afford them I can’t understand that.

people need to understand, yes people do try to cross the border to do not so good things but there is also people who just want to live a happy life. they wanna come here cause they feel it will be better. they just want a happy life.

I understand their situation, BUT, they need to do legally period . I came to this awesome country long time ago, though a legal port of entry, I never used a penny of Canadian taxpayer money, I raised my self up, , I work very hard, I live a wonderful lifestyle with my family, now, my country Canada ??, this country given a lot , but , I pay my fear share to the government, taxes.

I don't understand why these people wanna come into United States? Why can't they get jobs and make a living and farm? Where they live what's wrong with you? We only live on a Little Rock in the middle of outer space. Why the hell did they fix up their area? Why they got to hord United States for?

Every since this has been allowed to occur we suddenly don’t have jobs in restaurants that allows people to work without citizenship or green card. They are taking those jobs speaking no English and being used and overworked. They are easier to deal with cause they barley complain. So people(americans) are being pushed out big time. They starting with the lowest pay . Lower than what Americans would accept. I completely understand that wall?? I can’t even take a vacation without a passport to the countries and I’m not planning on staying at all. We can’t go for a few days without documentation.. let alone pick up our whole lives and cross one of those borders without being rejected. So explain to me.. what gives them that right?

Remember that in a major event, ems could be down or unavailable for sometime. While this is never the first line of defense in an emergency, understanding how to manage medical emergencies (high infections, deep wounds, pneumonia, asthma attacks, shock, 2nd and 3rd degree burns, poisoning, radiation sickness, torn ligaments, allergic reactions, excessive bleeding) while you wait on help can be life and death. \n Food, water, temperature control are your highest priorities. If faced with a major event where services are limited for more than 3 days, having stored food as well as a way to cook, a way to filter and store water, and a way to keep yourself cool or warm can be life altering. \n\nPlease remember as we are entering or for some of us are already in uncertain times, having this foundation gives security as well as lowers stress. It allows us to feel more in control and gain a more positive perspective on not only our lives but the world. Yes and if these people truly believed in God and Jesus they wouldn't run from their countries but actually stay on the ground and stand strong in their faith that God and Jesus are going to help them persevere through all this. As a fully disabled American citizen with a child that doesn't even get $1,000 a month and there's no available housing at all where I live no waiting list to go on people on SSI disability don't get any extra housing help we're not offered separate housing are put on separate lists and low-income Able Body people or the migrants jumping the Border but I was born and raised here paid taxes and worked until my body literally couldn't anymore but I don't hear anybody bitching and screaming and crying about the fact that my son and I would be on the streets if it hadn't been for one of my family members stepping up and giving his housing after a lifetime restraining order issued during my pregnancy on my son's biological do do with domestic abuse situation. I'm also US citizen that spent time in the Wards in Houston and projects and other cities and if you don't think that we don't have the same gun violence drug trafficking human trafficking gangs take it over cartels taking over neighborhoods and communities than you're freaking lying to yourself and everybody else. The same s*** that's taken over these countries is taking over the inner cities have been for decades and these are the same communities that most of these people will end up in. No it's not about not being good Christians part of being a good Christian is reminding people to stand their ground and have faith in Jesus and God and their own home territory and not to give it up to the crime people in the bad politicians. You can't say you believe in God and Jesus Christ and then he's got your back while you're running and that's the truth in the reality that nobody wants to hear the more people run from these countries the more the bad people are able to take over and then we get complaints here in the states about the cost attacks is rightfully so. For those people screaming and shouting that everybody should go out pick up in my grant and bring them home to their house and feed them and take them and I challenge you to do the same thing for homeless before you even do the migrant do homeless American citizens go out and really educate yourself because I'm totally tired of hearing from Americans that the only people that live on the streets are people with mental health problems that need mental health treatment or people that are stoned out and that's where they want to be you guys are so f****** wrong and this is coming from someone that met homeless people spent time around homeless people and understand we have a society that wants to paints a very different picture than what's truly going on because then it allows for hey it's not our problem they want to be there. I will say there's two I'm sure a lot of people are attracted to come into the United States I mean it's kind of turned into the Devil's Playground don't you think I mean look at how ostentatiously people live the projects on the backs of taxpayers selling dope holding down dead-end jobs to make it look like they're working all while going out and getting their hair did and their nails done and their eyelashes done and pimping out their cars and all that b******* and buying all this you know high-end tennis shoes and f****** clothing and Handbags and s*** and then we have the part of the United States that justified of themselves all the time or it's okay to have this huge palatial house or have multiple houses I'll we have United States veterans living on the streets or people that truly have disabilities that have been a waiting list for 2 and 3 years for housing. I remind people all the time and they hate hearing this s*** Jesus never had a house as a matter of fact Jesus basically live like a homeless person after he was an adult particularly and God made sure he was provided for. I mean did you all forget the night they came to take them away they were asleep in an Open Garden it wasn't like they popped up tents or glamper camper sites had some little Adobe type cabins they were sleeping in. As a matter of fact if you pay attention to most of the stories about Jesus and talking about him sleeping he does a lot of sleeping Outdoors. Remember God is a father that's how he's been represented and talked about in the Bible and Jesus was a man without a doubt no biological transgender question ability there. People need to remember that part of being a fair and loving. Is also teaching and discipline and these children following rules. I don't believe hearing God and Jesus telling all these people run from your countries and not have faith that I'm actually going to fix things for you and go run to somebody else actually go run to the United States where all those stuff is traveling through. I never understood the logic of that it's like rats run from the country where they're making the drugs to the country that supplying the globe with it and we're all of these bad people have thousands of people in planted everywhere with guns and hookups. I don't know why people don't understand that we have dirty lawn forcement in dirty politicians that are in bed with the dirty drug cartels that's as much as they are in the country. You don't think that there's not decisions made in the United States based on drugs and I'm not talking about how to put it into them but how to keep them flowing. I have Fred still in Florida and we were all making jokes about how quickly Sanibel Island all the way up to st. Pete got Mainland access so quickly after the last major hurricane that took everything down and we all know what it's from is because that portion of Florida is used to bring a lot of drugs in from South America, Central America. So for all of you that want to post your personal assumptions about homeless people because that's all it is unless you've actually been homeless or spent time around homeless you really have no clue what's going on in the homeless population except what you've been told by the same political talking head media bulshit that's been lying to everybody about a bunch of other stuff too. Don't you get it the politicians don't want people knowing that a lot of the people that are homeless on the street are people that are disabled and aren't disabled because they have mental health problems I know that's the narrative they've been trying to stuff down people's throats.

My work which is at a hotel just got a bunch of Puerto rican immigrants who are working and living at the hotel for free and they get paid and they treat all the other workers with disrespect and leave everything a mess and break rules constantly and can’t even talk to the managers and we’re all trying to be as understanding as we can be because I honestly can’t imagine going through immigration like that but still there’s no rules for them and meanwhile us other workers who are American and don’t get paid as much and don’t have the amenities that they do it’s just kind of a ridiculous situation in my opinion. There’s no structure or organization with it and it doesn’t make sense that we’re illegally transporting immigrants all over the us and giving them the free pass for most all things without even going through the legalization process. Like I can completely understand immigration and see nothing wrong with it when it’s done legally, but I don’t understand why we’re disregarding the people already in the long process of legally immigrating. I might just be very ignorant in the issue but that’s my personal take on the issue. It doesn’t make sense to me. I will say I have absolutely nothing against any person who’s an immigrant but just the rules and regulations surrounding the situation. I don’t mean to step on anyone’s toes or offend anyone.

Father, I ask that you please help them understand that they should try coming in legally.. As someone from Asia who lives with a comfortable life I guess I’m privileged enough than most people who live on the other part of the world. But still, I can never understand why people force themselves illegally. They can just go through legal process, I’m sure there are other ways. This will never happen here in our part of the world. It’s easier to spot who is not one of us. If you want to move to a new country, do it LEGALLY.

I understand these people trying to find a suitable place to live. However, social cohesion is already an issue, amongst other things. We can't just accept anyone in until we fix our issues

Why do people want to try to live in the US? I will never understand. You will have a terrible quality of life unless you are rich, and even then, it's still a dangerous sh*thole where people are not even guaranteed basic human rights like health care.

I don't understand why these people feel entitled to live wherever they want. I don't understand why they run from their troubles at home instead of confronting them. The South American illegal immigration problem is one of pure cowardace and stupidity. If your going to risk you life on a journey to run away from a broken country, when you could stay home and fight FOR YOUR HOME at about the same risk, that's cowardly.

People in the comments who are claiming they came a long time ago and feel so good about Canada are the reason the costs of living is continually raising. They didn't understand Canadians were already making them pay more but to them it was normal now, even themselves they raise the rents of the real estate they had time to buy for low prices and feel they accomplished the dream but at the detriments of the new immigrants.

Visiting family in Brooklyn when i live in the UK was a major shock to me, to see how segregated the neighbourhoods were was like going back 50 years in time. I'm light skin black and had people looking at me funny on Flatbush, i got back to my relo's and asked wag1, they tell me id be perceived as a Latino... Driving to New York, we go through the Jewish quarter and i see no one walking the streets except dudes with tall hats and squiggly hair... like woah bruh, now i understand why America is so stuck on race and division. It was mind blowing to me, i couldnt imagine how some of these ppl would feel coming here to the UK, theyd be best mates the local off license Sikh owner and talking about the coof with their Turkish barber in 1 day.

First off Canada is not a systemically racist country I’m white I’m also poor and I’ve lived here all my life nearly everyone excluding the native population in a immigrant or a descendant of a immigrant my mom is Portuguese and I also have black family members we are no more racist than anyone else in any other country. Every country has a few homeless people and that number has grown immensely due to poor Liberal government policy when I was young there were maybe one or 2 homeless people in my home town and they were severely mentally Ill homelessness has greatly increased since pm Justin Trudeau has been in power and that’s something I can say I have observed first hand living here in Ontario Canada for 30 years - my entire life. Canadian tax payers don’t want to pay for drug addicts to get more drugs the Liberal Canadian government have set up “safe injection sites” and “ methadone clinics” that basically give these addicts more drugs that are payed for with our tax dollars again these clinics and safe injection sites didn’t exist when I was a kid and since then the number home homelessness has increased as well as the number in population addicted to drugs. Also you’re getting your statistics on hate crimes motivated based on race or ethnicity from CTV new a media outlet on the pay role of the Liberal government most people with any sense don’t pay attention to mainstream media here in Canada because it’s no longer journalism when you parrot a narrative that the government that is constantly attacking the fundamental values of Canada no controls I live in a complex that consists mostly of Arabic in Syrian people most racist comments I’ve heard has been between other families that have recently immigrated to Canada and it doesn’t happen often it’s usually just from unruly kids that are too ignorant to understand the implications of the words they utter at one another RBC is one bank in Canada if all the people working there happen to be white it doesn’t make a difference and is likely purely because they’’ve been working that same job for many years now we don’t give people jobs in Canada based on their skin colour people get jobs based on their performance and wether they meet the necessary SKILL requirements for that job there are lots of other banks in Canada that have different cultural diversities so far I honestly just feel like your just shitting on my county and that’s extremely rude of you eh. It is hard to find a family doctor these days a lot of doctors were fired for refusing to take the Covid shots I also refused to take the Covid shot and I haven’t had Covid through out this entire plandemic not once I hardly even wore a mask because I know when I’m being lied too I know how to spot when someone is experiencing duper’s delight when they think they’re getting away with doing something wrong Justin Trudeau and Christia Freeland frequently express duper’s delight when they refuse to answer questions or deflect questions your voice sounds like your from either Sweden or Switzerland how close am I I’m not surprised that’s also where the WEF “word economic forum” is from yes? I understand clearly, here where I live in the UK, my neighbourhood is all mixed. My husband is Hungarian, I am Chilean, I have Nigerians neighbours and next doors there are white Britons. It's more natural this way.

I think you ladies are way out in left field and you really don't know what you're talkin about. Unfortunately for some people it doesn't work out for whatever reason usually because they do not want to assimilate very well. I grew up in Ontario to a french-canadian father and an Italian mother in my life in Canada was so perfect said if I had to dream up a better life I could not have done so. I grew up playing all the sports and enjoyed all the different sports and the changes of seasons. My parents had a summer home on the st-lawrence river and every summer we water-ski swam fished, play golf in the morning and barbecues every night right on the water. Even though my grandfather was in the hotel business I was all about sports and enjoying everything about it. I grew up in a town of about 50 thousand about 40 miles from Montreal. When I wanted some great nightlife just drove a short drive to Montreal and it had everything did anyone could want in Nightlife. I have lived in United States for forty years and I can tell you that it really isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Heaven forbid should you get some kind of catastrophic illness you are screwed. I knew a woman who work for travelers insurance for 30 years at the best insurance a money could buy had suffered a couple of strokes and was on the verge of going broke had she not died when she died. People think that insurance continues to pay his long as you're ill and nothing could be further from the truth. This lady was going to have to sell her house to continue paying for round-the-clock care had she not died when she did. United States middle class is getting wiped out. I've seen enough poverty and hardship in this country to last a lifetime. I find greed to be running rampant in this country. When I grew up in Canada there was always the grass is greener on the other side and when I did move over to the other side the US that is I can tell you unequivocally the dead grass is not greener on the other side. There are more millions and millions of people here that are one or two paychecks away from being homeless. And we're talkin 2023. Now let's talk about violence. There is a mass murder in the United States every single day of the year. And a mass murder is defined by four or more people being killed by one person at one time. Killing these so out of control in the United States that now even six-year-olds are shooting their teacher. I find a tremendous amount of built-up Anger from people. Food is very expensive and shelter is also out of control and non affordable to most people. Again I find United States being able to paint a much Rosier picture then does really exist. And there are more con artists and thieves , Crooks, con-artists, bamboozlers, cheats and scammers then anywhere that I've ever been. And I will say this is it it ain't getting any better and I don't see it ever getting better. I find it is everybody out for themselves no matter who they cheat. I live in Southern California and I can tell you that night life where I live is non-existent. Understand that LA and Hollywood they always have to glamorize everything to sell it to tourists. Just remember that things today are not what they were 40 years ago. Middle-class people in Canada would also be just middle-class people in the US. But if your life means anything to you as far as safety and raising a family then Canada wins hands down end of discussion. People that say Canada is boring is because they are boring. That's what I found to be pretty standard across the board. Life is what you make of it. But I will say that you gals definitely need to move away if you don't like Canada. Do not let the door hit your ass on the way out. And just for your information Canada ranks annually as one of the top countries in the world to immigrate to. Canada is the second largest country in the world by land area and next to Saudi Arabia has the third largest oil Reserves in the world. Canada has huge amount of freshwater which most of the rest of the world seems to be lacking and having spent my Summers on the Saint Lawrence River one of the Great Rivers in this world. I wouldn't change my twenty years in Canada for anyplace else in this world and I will be moving back shortly.

Why not just move to Bangalore? or Mumbai? or Hyderabad? or Delhi? or Gurgaon? There are lots of jobs (even non-IT) in these cities, and you don't end up spending an absolute dumptruck of money. I can understand the appeal of going/working abroad, but when you don't have the financial base or the merits for it then why do it? Just to live like a beggar with massive levels of stress?

North America, Oceana and Europe are a dumpster fire. They used to be good (education, universal healthcare and cost of living) until about the early 2000s. Unfortunately for the new immigrants, they are sold a lie. They believe they'll be millionaires and don't understand how socialism has taken over. The taxes are crazy, the cost of living is insane and the younger generation is way too woke.

This video is filled with lots of inaccuracies and the co-hosts don't seem to have an understanding of some of the subjects addressed in the video. A balanced approach would definately be much more accurate. Don't relay on this Information, Canada is a great place to live in comparison to most other countries.

To all parents and students who are dreaming to study and live abroad please, research about college and see the credibility. Students who are coming after high school going abroad for higher studies please go after bachelor for your PG course. Even a tough guy and girl at such a tender age may not be able to take mental burden. In India we are all protected and guarded and never worked till Bachelor . Have some work experience stay away from family for at least 6 months and see if you can cope with change. This will help you to understand and learn to adjust on your own. Life is not so cheap to give away like that. Hope it helps .

It's all about perspective. First of all people come and leave every country on a yearly basis. 2nd You are right about the healthcare system it definitely could be much better but it beats living in the states where you could be wiped out with an expensive health challenge that insurance won't fully cover or just covers 75% and leave you on the hook for 25%. That still can be hundreds of thousands of dollars. 3rd you mentioned that it's cold, and you noticed that being black with an accent made you stand out and seem different. Well you have to realize you moved to a different country so you will be different to the people who live there. I don't mean to sound harsh but that's just common sense. As long as you have the equal opportunities and are being treated equal in regards human and civil rights then I don't understand your reason to point out the obvious of being observably different in a foreign land and experiencing different weather or activities. It doesn't make sense to move to a different country but expect the same things you experience in your previous country. I immigrated to Canada from the states and it was a bit different for me as well but I had to come to the realization that I wasn't in North Carolina anymore and I shouldn't expect the country to change for me. That's not how the world works. 4th and final point. Ontario is expensive, so yea you can't get ahead there. Move to Alberta where cost of living is cheaper, Calgary has the most sun out of all the cities and it's typically really cold only for a couple weeks in the winter with decent summers.

This video is spot on! My parents and I immigrated to Canada when I was in high school and I loved it at the time. My parents always complained about work and money and wanted to go back to India but I didn't understand why they were so negative. After I started working, I moved to the US to pursue more work opportunities and now I have been living here for the past 10 years. I always consider moving back to Canada since my family and friends are there. However, I don't see myself doing so for some of the reasons you mentioned in the video: high cost of living, overwhelmed health care, and the cities are a bit boring for living or traveling. The US is by no means perfect and has a lot of the same issues that Canada does (high cost of living, taxes, healthcare) and its own set of problems (crime, uneven school quality, political divides). However, for the time being it's a better fit for me which is why I continue to stay here. Ultimately I feel that everyone's experience is a bit different and they have to go through their own priorities to figure out if a move to Canada makes sense. This video is super helpful in providing context for people who are considering moving though!

Just more than a year living here in Canada realizations:\n\n1. So cold. Not everytime you can be so productive because the weather is a big hindrance\n2. As an immigrant, you will start from scratch. There will be great opportunities, sometimes really fast promotions or salary increase but workplaces are always short staffed that the amount of work is not worth it with how much the salary is. \n3. Some people still have preferences and you will really feel discriminated.\n4. People are polite, I am very impressed but so individualistic, it's sad. Growing in a country with a very collective type of community, you will really fee the void once you try living in Canada. you can't fully relate to everyone, be free to talk to them about everything because you rarely have common ground or understanding. I feel bad for the Canadians, its so hard to build relationships here in this country. Some of them might never experienced living that everyone of their schoolmates understand and laughs at the same meme because all of them have the same backgrounds and can relate.\n5. Housing prices are so high, it is so surprising for a country with big land mass but with very few population. Like how can be the house this expensive when winter is long, houses are wood and not stone and groceries, mall and other recreational areas are far?\n\nOverall, it's like a big scam going here in Canada. The biggest thing positive here is how powerful the currency is and the country being part of G7 and neighbor of US. Also it has very well preserved environment, scenic views. Aside those, others you can live without.

Canada is graduating more doctors now than ever before. The problem is that the good ones leave for better salary and opportunities. What we're left with are the crappy doctors who could not land a job in the private sector if their lives depended on it. Hence the results of our present system. The thing I don't understand is that you have citizens who have been living here for generations, fought and died in wars to protect our prosperity, paid taxes, etc but yet an immigrant will get a GP before them. Something is wrong with that! Nothing against immigrants btw, it's not their fault. But on an ethical level this should not be occurring. Here in Quebec you will also be discriminated against when seeking healthcare if you are not white and French speaking. So don't come here if you don't fall under that demographic. You will be poorly treated.

You are wrong about Canada protecting and caring about homeless and in-need people. The reality is that even though you don't see all the homeless people, there are tens of thousands of them in each city, more so in the warmer climates. The UN has already been on Canada's back for the abuse of homeless people and the cruelty towards them and those with mental health problems. Canada is a fraud and has been deceiving immigrants and visitors for over a hundred years. Many of the homeless people in Canada, especially in the past 20 years and from the start of the pandemic, continuing to this day, are now including people with good educations and many years of high-level job experiences, as well as whole families. These people became homeless because of massive job layoffs and lost everything. Contrary to the popular Canadian ideology, homeless people are not lazy slobs who don't bother to work and need to get their acts together. Many of the homeless shelters are filled with dangerous people, bed bugs, and diseases. Many homeless people choose to find alternatives to sleep safely. Many homeless women experience terrible sexual assaults that rarely are reported and rarely ever taken seriously by the police. Most alternatives to shelters are limited and there are so many restrictions that qualifying doesn't always happen. Many have had their ID stolen, so they are unable to get jobs, rent homes, or even have a day to shower and clean their clothes. Most donations of clothes, blankets, and sleeping bags are disregarded because most homeless people don't have the means to carry things. Their nutrition is terrible, through no fault of their own. Many food banks will not give food to those without a home. Many soup kitchens will only help periodically and not for every meal. Canada's treatment of homeless people and mentally people is not just disgraceful, but criminal. The general attitude of many Canadians, as taught to them by deliberate government propaganda, is that if you are poor or were abused or a victim of crime, is that they did something to deserve it. Rents across Canada are beyond the reach of the majority of Canadians, yet, Canada refuses to set up a council house system like the UK. There are no emergency homes and no emergency assistance even close to what the UK and other countries across the world provide. Canada's continued abuse, ill-treatment, crimes against humanity, and genocide of the First Nations peoples is not a past history, but an ongoing history that is not about reconciliation. It is about shutting them up so that they cannot speak and get true justice, instead of just a federal government settlement of a meager amount that has only increased the addictions of victims, who have no one to help them or a place to turn. Canada lies about trauma help and treatment for people for having been victims, or have developed PTSD (this is a brain injury and only a mental health problem if the person becomes suicidal or is unable to do the basics of essential living), and worse, Canada lies about this in relation to kids. Alberta has a place that they claim is for treating trauma in kids. However, this place is nothing more than a low-level counseling center to reunite kids with their parents, who have been removed by law. Any child requiring help has to deal with just basic counselors, who are not trained in helping traumatized and PTSD kids. In relation to the First Nations peoples, if the teens have mental health issues, and if they have to be temporarily hospitalized by their parents, social workers and doctors will force joint custody with the parents, to treat the kids or remove them so they can carry on the government's crimes against the First Nations peoples. The crimes continue. In these past few months, a baby was left to die in a basket at a nurse's station in the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta. The mother was allegedly treated like garbage and her child was allegedly called a specimen. But this is not the only case of such abuse of First Nations pregnant mothers and their children. A case over a decade ago allegedly also took place, and the number of these cases in this hospital alone may possibly be much higher, and other hospitals may also be hiding such crimes. An infant, who was the victim of attempted murder by one or the other parent, was put in the care of relatives by social workers, who were totally unaware of the crime, but the one parent, who was put in the hospital's mental health unit, mentioned a version of what had happened, and when the relatives found out, they were allegedly reassured by the hospital that they would deal with the matter. The relatives believed, understandably, that the hospital would report the crime, but it never did. Allegedly the hospital covered up yet another crime. The police in the city, allegedly informed at some point, one of the relatives that no charges could be laid even if the child remembered as the Canadian health services do not believe that children below the age of 4 can remember anything. It was when I heard about this that I realized that the reason Canada has gotten away with the crimes against the 1st Nations, immigrants, Canadians, and who knows how many other victims, through the mandated alleged use of forced assimilation and the alleged Soviet-style education system, is because of this fake claim that children and even infants cannot remember things. This deliberate lie to those relatives allegedly by the police, shows clearly that Canada is following the dangerous path in a more stealthy fashion than the Nazis did to the Jews and others they rounded up, arrested, tortured, and/or eventually murdered. Your perceptions are limited by your obvious lack of real knowledge and real experience. Please, if you are going to make such a video, live in Canada, all over Canada for at least 30 years, then comment, please!

Being born in Canada I was proud of our multiculturalism and believed Canada was the greatest but as an adult I don't understand why people would want to live here. I pay over 40% of my income to the government for all the things that make Canada great but it is just not that way. My taxes help pay for programs that I am not eligible for because before taxes I make too much money but after taxes my take home is the amount that qualifies for programs but that's not how the system works. I need the program because I help pay for it but can't use it because of having money that is not considered to be mine. According to the CRA the money I pay the government in taxes does not and has never belonged to me but that same government labels that tax money as mine in order to deny me the programs I help pay for. It is a good idea to leave Canada if you can. There is no future for the working class except servitude to the government.

Very good video, I wish I knew it all in 2014! Taxes, OMG this was such a nasty surprise when my grocery bill was higher than what I saw on a price tag. Funny that a lot of this is true in Switzerland as well. Switzerland hates overachievers but values team work. Always respect your team, help and be polite are absolute dealbreakers. Other aspects of cultural norm also works. Remember how Canadians were closed when it comes to personal topics, Swiss people are reserved and it takes time to get closer to them but they can also been direct when it comes to a civil state, at least this happened to me. \nFunny fact: when I arrived in Switzerland I had Canadian views of a distance and annoyed people by saying 80km is close, but when I explained I used to live in Canada they understand I need time to adjust. \nI lived 5yrs in Toronto and never get issues with winter, but I hate summer heat not winter.
