Tariffs means that US business will pay an additional cost to import the product which will then be passed on the US consumer through higher prices. So the only ones who will suffer are American consumers.

Which dumb ass doesn't realize that the end consumer is the one who eventually has to pay the tariffs, not the country where the goods are being imported from because it will get added into the cost of importing and down to consumers.

HEY TRUMP: Instead of starting up trouble with yet another country, try bringing down the price of eggs, milk, meat ,bread, housing costs, energy bills, etc. here at home!

It would only cost more for Americans if they are the only country exporting to America. If not their stuff would just be more expensive and less desirable.

VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS INCOMPLETE REPORTING: The President of Colombia clearly said he would accept deportees IF they arrive on a passenger plane as has always been done and which costs less than half of the expense of a military plane. The problem is the United State’s insistence on using military planes.
