I have only been in Canada for seven months now, but I noticed a few things about its economy that led to this mess. I noticed that Canada has no globalized companies, meaning the government only makes a little money from doing business with other nations. Businesses here are lazier than their neighbor, the USA, or even in my country, Vietnam, which could be due to a lack of competitors. Cad also has the biggest forest reserve and largest oil deposit but is the lowest exporter. So I wonder how on Earth it stays in the top 10 wealthiest countries with such lazy activities. Up to this point, foreigners are the biggest income of Canada; this country is truly built on immigrants. To keep the country running, it must attract more foreigners. Without int' students, how much do citizens have to pay to keep schools running? If you view it differently, the government also sells the PR through SV Visa because, let's be honest, if millions of investors have invested, there should be something or at least one globalized company, but there are none. From $75k to $200k, foreigners can buy PR for every family member. It is considered affordable for Asian families compared to the USA or Australia. On top of that, another scam is a carbon tax, which means the government needs to learn how to make money rather than invent taxes and sell dreams to foreigners.

If you want to go to other countries illegally than you must want to simulate and respect their culture there or else don’t go there thinking they owe you anything

This is a well-thought-out globalist policy. The poor of the world must slowly, slowly be all brought to the rich nations. In this way, there will no longer be very poor countries, but the level of rich countries will decrease a lot in the next decades.

But that would be hard to think about, best just to blame the immigrants, makes life easy breezy. Can't see any problems down the line with that line of thought, right Britain? ********Important**********************Since I've been living in Canada for more than two years, the immigration protests you mentioned have occurred. To put it briefly, everyone moves to different provinces for PR, just like I did when I studied in Toronto for two years. The CRS score for PR is significantly higher there, and there aren't as many easy possibilities, therefore students there relocate. The protest is taking place in Prince Edward Island, where I moved a few months ago. They are protesting for the extension of their work permit and the opening of those easy PR draws, which are currently paused. I moved here in order to obtain PR, but I worry that this protest is inappropriate. Because everyone must submit a statement of purpose (SOP) when applying for a visa to Canada, and in that statement you clearly indicate that you will return to your home country after completing your studies and working there. However, if this statement is not clear, the visa officer may reject your application, stating that they believe you will not return home after completing your studies and working there. In order to avoid having our visa applications denied, we always attempt to assure the officer that we will return home. You have no right to request a PR, an extension of your work visa, or anything else if you have made this statement of purpose plain on your own. If you're thinking about moving to Canada, always make sure that the government is in charge. When I planned, getting our PR was simple, and now that they've changed the laws and regulations, they have rights as immigrants, so nobody should fight against getting PR and a work visa, etc.

I have been (mostly) a life long Liberal living in Toronto. I can honestly say, the Trudeau Liberal government has been the worst government at any level I have lived under - including Mike Harris and Bob Rae. Justin Trudeau likes to cut ribbons and make big announcements and spend time on the completely wrong priorities for Canadians. We need a government focused on the economy and the things it takes to build a thriving 21st century economy. Yes, it takes immigrants and those people will need the basics: a job, food, shelter and services. Instead we get dental care, pharm care, daycare - all these things we can't afford and that do very little to build out a thriving economy we need. We have lost decades due to poor planning of our governments and now we all must suffer. It will take generation to fix this, meanwhile our competing countries will all pass us. I will rue Justin Trudeau and his incompetent Ministers and enablers for the rest of my life.

For every hundred people who are looking for the same job there is sn employment problem. For every hundred people looking for the same apartment you have a rental problem. For every hundred people looking to buy the same house there's going to be a housing problem. For every hundred people looking to take the same thing as the other hundred people you have a society with a big problem. In many cities daycare is a big problem because of the number of new people coming into the country and replacing those who are already in line for social services. Language services replace the priority of local citizens who have to move to the sidelines in order for new comers can be equal but when too many people are coming into the country things will never be equal. Anyone coming to Canada must be fluent in English so as to not put a strain on local social services..

I’m an Indian international student currently in a master’s program in Canada and I think this video perfectly speaks to a lot of problems in the country. I chose Canada due to its high quality of education. I personally also think the country messed up with their mass immigration with no quality check of individuals coming from India. If a person is allowed to be in a foreign country they must assimilate into its culture and values or at the bare minimum not force your own beliefs on the people there. I find a lot of entitlement certain immigrant population feel quite ridiculous , it’s not racist to want people who come into your country to be respectful of it’s values. I would just like to say that not every Indian immigrant is the same though there are people who just wanted a different life and embrace the culture of the country that they had an opportunity to be a part of.

This video is full of bullshit. Like no human being is perfect, no country either. The actors exaggerated a lot. I agree Canada has problems but if you are counting problems then weigh it properly. Everything depends on person to person. Can’t apply same equation everywhere. If someone is earning good in India then why do you want to try any other country ?. Your comparison of Canada to the US is seriously misplaced. Canada is the second largest country in the world, next to Russia. Our population of 40 million ppl is low which is great. Canada is a very diverse country. CANADA is more than Toronto or Montreal. There are many beautiful cities in western Canada, Saskatoon is an example with a population of close to 400K and yes, it’s a city, not a small town. Personally I’d never live in Toronto, and as a life long resident of Canada, born and raised here, who has travelled the entire country. And visited several states as a former professional softball player. Travelled many countries as well as the Caribbean. I would also move to the West Indies, primarily the island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines or maybe New Zealand. If I moved from the west within Canada, I’d move to the Eastern seaboard, Nova Scotia is really nice. Both of you, your eyes are wide shut about Canada lol. When we came 28 years ago 1st time in Montreal there was very limited south Asian immigrants. Health care was top of the world..living standard was best with less expensive housing & other costs.. Now we live in Toronto & after 28 years its a totally different country. Health care is verge of collapse. 6 to 7 hours waiting in Hospital, 3 hours waiting to see a family doctor. No housing for new people. Car theft is high in the world. Lots of drugs in young people. No job for immigrants while local born young people struggling to find jobs. Only highy educated from local universities people gets job. Food cost higher than US, Europe. Large country but 80% people lives close to US borders. Northern part of Canada is empty. Racism getting higher & higher.. All these problems started after Trudeau came in power. During Harper time Canada was top of the world. Trudeau adoped reckless immigration policy. He brought people here without developing infrastructure like new hospitals, schools, housing etc.. Now most of students are living in stress here. 4/5 people living in one room. No job.. Education tuition fees are very high.. Therefore, new people coming to Canada must do their own research before come here. 99% political asylum cases are getting rejected & facing deportation. Students will not get work permit until they finish their course & get a job from employer.. Trudeau time is over. Conservative party will come to power next year & they will make immigration tougher.

I must says the Canada was the ideal destination a few years ago but seeing the opposite trend now, many people are moving back to their country of origin or either moving to different country where the living cost is affordable, things are not great here and now the Canada's immigration policy are changed significantly as well in which they only give to certain category of worker who meets their labor market needs such as healthcare, STEM, construction worker, traders, french proficient people and others.

They should adopt our culture! That lady said it all! I’m an immigrant in Canada myself, been here for almost three years. I always tell my wife and kid “we’re the outlanders, we MUST adapt to the local culture and customs!” I put soccer aside and started learning about hockey, I started listening to Canadian rock bands (great, btw), I read two biographies about Terry Fox, Arctic expeditions, geography, etc. Despite my wife still getting along mostly with people from our mother country, I refuse to be part of these clans!
