It’s caused a massive affordable housing shortage. It took me 4 months to find a place. I was in a shelter for 6 weeks. I estimate I sent approximately 600 messages on marketplace. I came across 2 scammers. I didn’t fall for their tricks. I was amongst many older women many were awaiting subsidized housing. It’s a domino effect. We are seeing food shortages. Certain items unable to find them. Houses aren’t even affordable for middle class now. We have skyrocketing cost of living.

He is the kind of international student we don’t want to leave. But he will leave for sure and we will be left with scammers and cheaters from India.
