Immigrant families who are here should probably have conversations with their children about the possibility of being deported together and what that could look like; now is the time to have a plan, not the time to sit and wonder and wait for the inevitable. Its the responsibility of the adults in the families to have thought of all scenarios prior to relocating their minors and putting minors at risk of rape, assault, trafficking, and orphanhood. While I am praying for these individuals and have great compassion for them, the priority needs to be those who are paying thousands and waiting years to come in legally. Fair is fair. America and Americans first.

Seriously? Americans come first. And the asylum process ain't clear? It's the process politically persecuted individuals used to use. And many of them crossed multiple countries on the way to USA why don't they stop and reside there?

This post over-simplifies the situation. The reason Indians get rejected is because Indians abuse the visa system. How many Indians come to the US/UK on student visas and immediately start to look for work? How many sham Indian-American IT outsourcing companies rent their H1-visas to the highest bidder? How many Indians simply overstay their visas?

Lot of Indians don't have talents and they are draining the resources here in US. They are getting loans in India and come here for Master's and then try to get jobs in tech depriving some of the Americans here the opportunity.

For the 50 lacs Indians who work in USA directly for American clients, it feels so great not to work in India and give commission to greedy capitalists like Narayana Murthy. Client dollars come directly to their pockets and with 1 dollar = 87 rupees they reach their retirement nest egg faster and achieve FIRE (financial independence retire early) in their 40s. And yes work for 40 hours and every extra hour is extra pay. No 70 hour work per week exploitation allowed in USA.

I waited 7 years to bring my wife over here. We have a son and he is an Americsn citizen. My wife sees the degradation of our cities with so many immigrants coming over here and we try to avoid JFK and LAX like the plague. They will end up draining the limited resources that should be for the future child of Americans. My wife doesn't understand why America doesn't take care of it's own.. I agree with her 100 percent.

Canadian here.. Canada has its pros and cons.. Come hell or high water I LOVE CANADA... I am home sick for Canada and will be moving back to Canada in 2025... The sooner so much the better.... These are east Indians coming from the UK. They had US visas from the UK. What is Canada to do when they are in transit passengers from the UK and given fake or real but seems fake US visas. All international intransit passengers dont go through customs at their stop over country. Its an international fact. I'm an American, married to a German, and we live in the Southern USA. We spend over a month each year in Germany and Europe. I will say that when it comes to making friends, Germany is far easier than in the Southern US. People here are closed off and absorbed into their own little world (there are exceptions, of course). I've had some bad experiences in Germany but overall have found the people to friendly and welcoming, especially in the North.

I’m an American citizen who was born in the United States (Hawaii). Everyone has the right to support or not support President Trump’s plans for mass deportation. The interviewer asked this Mexican American woman her opinion and she’s entitled to her opinion. There are a lot of Hispanic people who agree with Trump. I don’t think she’s turning her back on her family by saying “it’s okay” if they get deported. I think she’s respecting and supporting the rules of Immigration laws to have legal documentation to live in the United States. Rather than disrespecting and ignoring Immigration laws the way her family did. I think in a way she’s saying “it’s okay” her family gets deported because they deserve to be penalized for breaking Immigration laws for entering and staying in America for 20 or 30 years illegally which is valid and understandable. It comes down to the phrase “You commit the crime you do the time” whether it’s family or not. I believe she has a leg to stand on because she followed Immigration laws, received her Green Card and is living in the United States legally. If a family member of mine committed a crime and were put in jail or deported back to their country I would say “it’s okay” too. You reap what you sow.

These Indians need to face the fact that Canada doesn't want them, neither do our American neighbors. There is no point in running to the U.S. as they will capture and deport \nthese people. Deportation is coming, whether done by Canada or the U.S., the west does not want them. Do these people not have pride? Go home.

The most will be US. It’s just gonna force Mexico to look elsewhere not to mention Mexico was back by the US dollar to an extent, and it also has the back of the euro force along with the Chinese currency Mexico forced to be reckoned with not to mention all the car companies that are being Located in Mexico cars that enter in and exit Mexico in the car market not to mention Mexico now has the biggest cobalt mining probably in the world if I’m not mistaken Mexico is now in demand. Mexico knows this now but it’s not stronger than the US but if the US no longer cooperates with Mexico in Mexico, no longer cooperates with the US well it’s gonna be pretty sad not to mention the amazing history they have Like when Mexico along with Brazil defended the US when they were crippled by Japan and when Mexico went to help liberate during the Nazi invasion in Austria, Mexico has a great history of warfare and defending this country as well.
