As A Canadian I will call on my government to cancel buying the 88 F-35’s. We can’t trust America anymore. Our forefathers sold out our great aerospace industry like AVRO because we had A partnership with Americans. No more. I call on Bombardier to take the initiative and start developing our own military aircraft. I will NEVER step foot in America as long as Putin is running your country.

As a temporary politician Donald Trump is creating permanent problems. \nAfter his 4 years are up and he's long gone we're still going to be dealing with this.

As a Dutch European who was going on holiday to the States which i cancelled and re-booked to Canada ( and so did my travel companions ) i do stand with Canada and would rather spend my money there now ( the least i can do for what they did for us, no matter how little, every little bit helps ) Sorry to the good Americans, but i will not spend one cent in America or on\n American goods for as long as that Dictator is in power. I am a citizen of the United States and love my country and my family has a long history here. Had a great grandfather who fought in the Revolutionary War. But I am so ashamed of my President and so disappointed in my fellow citizens who voted for this awful man that right now I wish I was a Canadian.

As far as tariffs are concerned, Canada and Mexico have committed troops at their border since Trump initiated tariffs. Canada and Mexico are cutting down the flow of fentanyl into our country since Trump initiated tariffs. Trudeau is talking tough because he came off as weak the last time Trump scolded him. Trudeau is scheduled to meet with Trump in a few days. Why is that? Canada will meet Trump's demands on fentanyl and tariffs; and America will profit in the short and long term. Stop believing the fake news who does nothing but create fake chaos no matter what Trump does. These tariffs do not affect our country in any way over the short term. The only reason that the markets are tumbling is because the fake news wants to create panic when there is none. Same thing with Zelensky. You idiots are rooting for a war to continue because Trump is mean. Zelensky is ready to work for peace because the mean guy yelled at him. Wake up idiots! Why do people still watch CNN after being lied to over and over? Didn't they tell you Hilary was winning in 2016 and then lied to you guys again about Harris leading in the polls in 2024 lol. I get you guys are emotional and don't like Trump but the reality is that USA doesn't need Mexico or Canada but they need the USA. Mexico and Canada's exports are 70-80% to the USA while we only export 13-14% to them. This means most of their economy relies on the USA and only a small of ours rely on theirs.

The only one thing Trump is around for is to make everybody else his minions, that is what he works for to get his kicks from - all the Trump willie show is about that and that is his only card. He doesn't do politics or economics or any of that. He does his 'You Have To Be Minions' willie show, and he does fall out of his pants when people can't be tricked. - That is the one red line he can be identified for. Sure, there is danger as long as the citizens in the U.S. haven't got rid of this cancer cell. It is the modern Adolf Hitler. So make sure to get past him in the shortest time possible - with the smallest damage caused - by any chance. Observation and criticism towards this fascistoid psychopath is surely unavoidable, but it is also what he wants us to do: to spend all our time and attention on him. So let's focus most of our time and effort on building and strengthening what we know that needs to be there instead of this fascist. Improving Unity amongst us. And never bowing to any of the global bullies and fascists. I do hope that Canada, EU and Britain will work together, there is no reason Britain and EU cannot replace America as the main trade partners and I have seen plenty of other videos about other asian countries indicating interest in Canada's trade.\n\nBut this is much more than just tariffs, Trump has really gone off the deepend siding with Russia and undermining Ukraine, even undermining the sanctions, I wouldn't be surprised if he is already trading with Russia, using whatever bizarre pretext he chooses.\n\nThese should already be red flags to Canada, there is a long standing relationship with the UK and Ukraine, but Canada is only reacting on the tariffs, which detracts from what other action they might have taken.\n\nThe imposition of these tariffs should be the straw that breaks the camels back, I hope that if America repeals these tariffs that Canada will still diversify so that they don't ever end up in this situation again.

With an economy smaller than California by a long shot(Canada 2.3 trillion vs CA 3.9 trillion), I'm not sure what this is really going to do on paper...this is a negotiation...be patient...time to buy in the market when the prices are down...

Here, no more buy from USA, cancelled Netflix, cancelled amazon, cancelled orange, cancelled trip, cancelled most of Google I use MapQuest instead. And I do not want to do anything with USA as long as Trump and Gop are in charge. I hope Canada will take off any tariffs from China because no use to buy things made in China via USA. I will buy directly from now on
