Let us be honest, Indian students go to Canada to become a PR or a citizen! Living standard for ordinary people in India is very poor! Like Chinese, Indians want to live in western countries and bring their relatives with them! Australia has become very strict with foreign students too! You cannot jump from student visa to PR or working visa! Overstayers in AUS will soon be deported too!

The *enormous* problem with this video is the idea that _living_ in Canada is the same as the US! If you want to sell your soul and live in a country with rampant crime, gun-obsessed citizens and essentially zero social safety net, go nuts! Canada has a lifestyle which is far more aligned with Nordic countries than it is with the US; polite discourse, care for the needy and elderly, and a far greater desire for work/life balance. Higher GDP per capita is _irrelevant_ *if you have a basically dysfunctional civil society to go with it* .

Not only is Canada bringing in mass amount of unskilled immigrants, but they are are subsidizing their wages, driving down wages even further as Canadians entering the work force can't compete for jobs when companies can pay well below minimum wage for foreign workers who will be topped up by the government. Our own taxes are being used to make our own citizens more poor.

Brain drain is definitely a big issue. I heard from someone that if you're a US citizen you are required to pay US taxes even if you don't live there and honestly I kind of wish Canada would do the same. If this country raised you and educated you and gave you all the opportunities you've had in your life thus far, you shouldn't get to just up and leave without paying anything back.

Most illegal migrants spend thousands of dollars to commit the crime (entering any sovereign country illegally is simply an invasion). If they dare to enter China or any of the Arab countries this way, then who knows, they would be in heaven or hell rather than back home. But in the matter of illegal immigrants, how are the victimized countries supposed to know their backgrounds? How can one be sure if they are not hardcore criminals, terrorists, spies, or even trained soldiers of enemy countries? In such uncertainty, how can the invaded countries be sure that an incident or incidents of such a large magnitude might not take place that, in comparison, the incident of 9/11 would look like the small incident of bursting firecrackers?But on one election promise, the president is, unfortunately, taking a complete U-turn that those students who do the master's and other higher studies should be retained and provided legal status to stay in the country as their contributions are needed to give the country the perpetual cutting edge in the highly competitive world and keep the country's status as number one. These scholars are feeling cheated that by spending huge amounts of money and contributing to the research and development during the studies, they have not only been taken for a ride but also become the main target of the deportation campaign as their status is available with the government. On the other hand, millions of undocumented workers are comparatively safe, as tracing and deporting them is not an easily achievable task. Besides, millions of foreign citizens are given entry into the country on flimsy grounds, and many of them do not even ever go to elementary school. I think even God would not be able to make out what the fuck this country has become on this issue. Almost the same is the situation with most of the EU countries, the UK, Australia, and Canada.

Do not feel sorry for Canada. I am Canadian. Canadians voted for the Liberal Socialist Government they have 3 times. The youth wanted marijuana legalized. The union governments wanted to tax the corporation to be the highest of the G-7, tax their citizens, attack investors, to fund their rediculous social programs, paid sick days, stat holidays, benefits, pension plans etc .....and now no one in their right mind would open a business or invest in Canada..... No, Canadians are getting what they voted for and deserve....Good Luck to them, I have found a new and friendly country to do business and invest in. Oh, and it has beautiful weather all year round. The Canadian diplomatic relationship with India is very limited since the Indian government agent killed a Canadian citizen in Canada. I think it is a very good decision for the Canadian government to issue a very limited number of visas for Indian Nationals.

Canada is taking active measures to prevent that but the onus is on the US to protect its borders.

I would think they are a threat to Citizens of Canada also If you have buses transporting illegals. The bus drivers can be charged with harboring a fugitives from justice. In the early 1990s I worked with a Canadian and he said it is easy to cross the border into the U.S. but getting back into Canada was a hassle even if you were a Canadian citizen, you had to show the proper documents, be searched if you looked even slightly suspicious (aka not white). Makes a lot of sense they were keeping undesirables out of Canada but weren't concerned about who was getting into the U.S.
