We literally have 5 million Indians in Ontario alone looking to get into the USA to live and work. They came here to get PR so they dont have to wait 20 years in india to get a work visa. What Trash forgot to mention is that 263,000 illegal immigrants crossed into Canada from the United States last year as well! Let's build a wall and get Mexico to pay for it. Western Canadian here. Our current liberal government opened immigration to bizarre levels over the last several years I believe to get more liberal voters. Our country is in a bad way and don’t blame Trump for clamping down. Trudeau and now Carney are quite happy to keep the WEF plan going. We have our own housing shortage that needs to be addressed for existing Canadians who are struggling. I'm glad we are taking a pause and redifining the structure of how and who we receive into Canada. Until we sort out the housing crisis, which is in every major city, there simply aren't enough homes to help those in need and address newcomers who aren't financially self sufficient. If those immigrating to another country, they should provide their new country with their own financial means of support, or be of a profession that is in demand, the sooner they get jobs and pay into the system, the better.

I am born and raised in NYC. In Queens many businesses are now suffering with lack of staff and the owners or their family members are now doing the work they’ve been paying immigrants that don’t have their paperwork together to do. It is sad so many people trying to start over and get treated poorly! This is where I get my news on immigration, concise, thorough, and unbiased. From watching your videos it seems that NYC(5 boroughs) is the sanctuary city with the most problems, but I know there's more to it than that. Especially with how corrupt and biased our legacy media is.

Please don't lump the rest of the state in with those in NYC who keep voting for this insanity. The CITY voted for Cuomo and then Hochul, the rest of the state did not, but the rest of the state is so rural that the population of the city outvote the entirety of the rest of the state. This guarantees they keep getting reelected and increases over all state population which is used to determine how many congressional seats a state has and how many electoral votes, so more people would mean more political power.

I sincerely don't understand why people have an issue with people who came here illegally getting deported. It's not at all racially motivated or discrimination. Whether they are serious criminals or just entered illegally - it is not right for them to be here, or be provided services paid for by tax paying Americans. As an educated American citizen, If I want to move to UK or European countries I have to jump through many hoops, prove I have my own money to support myself, and possibly meet a language requirement. While I don't approve of giving low tips or being rude, a problem is we have an over immigration problem here with the same number of Indian immigrants coming here as in the U.S despite 10x less people and tens of thousands of less towns. They need to understand that rules and laws apply same to everyone. Getting degree does not mean immigration, internet is ubiquitous and they should have to read first before making decisions, what are rules, regulations and what to expect after getting degree.
