We (Americans) don’t want this either. Musk and trump are illogically running rampant. We (a good portion of us) want them gone, this was clearly a mistake on us that voted (or didn’t vote). We know trump and musk are liars, ignorant, and corrupt. We as a people have to figure out how to get this nonsense out. And for the record no I’m not a liberal and no I’m not a conservative. I see the pros and cons of both sides and both sides have beliefs I agree with and some I don’t.

As an American, I can tell you that we all don't agree with our new President! We love our country and our allies! Donald is tearing things up down here. People were so afraid of electing a woman President, that Donald Trump got elected after it was already proven that he is a womanizer and a criminal. Don't hate on the American people. This is how a leader should speak. He speaks with sincerity and with clarity. He doesnt speak broadly just to an entire audience. He speaks to each group of people that this is concerning to, and making sure we understand the magnitude of this situation. He adjusts how he speak to each group, and also to our sad president. Thats the vibe of the message he was giving me. Many different types of languages and emotions are spoken at the same time.\n\nI love our country, but I do not agree with how our currents presidents policies, changes, and tear down of our government/agencies in just 2 months. I cant imagine the months to come. People are already struggling, and are divided so much more that Americans are not siding with each other, but siding with Canada and Mexico who have been so patient and understanding with us. We need to stand up against our president to stop this isolation and division. We are already divided in our country. I can't stand to see we are starting to be divided globally. This will litterally shrink our economy and our opportunities. Not only that, it puts our national security in peril. We need to do better to work together in harmony.

I normally don't agree in Mr Trudeau, but he nailed it. You Canadians should be proud - As mr Trump should be a shamed. USA is from now an ally to Mr Putin and his world of scumbags. Being the US's neighbor wasn't a choice. It's geography. For decades we worked together to create a safe and friendly border. Then a broken and rotted manchild fooled the ignorant into voting his toxicity into power and all that work stands to fall. I'm sure there are many Canadians that agree with me when I say, how I wish we could simply paddle our land over to the EU AWAY from the crumbling US, which will soon be welcoming the likes of putin and Kim Jong Un with open arms.

As a US citizen, who voted for Trump three times, i never thought id agree with Trudeau. \nThe US cannot win a trade war, the US versus the world. It's simple mathematics, and in the geopolitical realm, What Trump is doing is going to push countries away from US influence. \nI'm all for putting the US first, I'm all for cutting the federal government fat, and I'm all for making sure we the people come first, but I'm also smart enough to know that anytime the US has gone into isolationism, it's led to global conflict.

Zelensky was in no position to make demands. Trump wants the war to stop, zelensky wants firepower. I don't agree with tariffs. But Justin is a socialist. He agrees with interventionism. So he's to blame for rising costs as well. They're both at fault. He's in favor of universal health care. I voted for Trump, but it's hard not to agree with Trudeau on this even though I find this guy to be extremely unpleasant. There's no reason to start trade wars all over the world and in particular with our neighbors. It's one thing to threaten tariffs and a very different thing to actually apply them. If you do it has to be accompanied by a lot of diplomacy so that the other country is not overreacting, but Trump has been super combative prompting our neighbors to respond in kind to save face. While past deals may not have been great for US, this is not the way to handle our differences. Billionaires like Trump and his friends will be fine, but the majority of ordinary folks in the US and Canada will suffer. Very dumb, indeed.

Please know that many Americans don’t agree with these tariffs placed on Canada either, that Canada has always been a good neighbor, always will be. These are sad and dangerous times for many US citizens with this present administration wreaking havoc on our beloved country.

It irritates me that Trump attacks canada for fentanyl and illegal immigration when its the other boarder that is the vast majority supplier. Trump has not given a resoanble or justifiable reason for these tarrifs in my mind. Its a shame as some of Trumps ideas and plans I agree with but so far the vast majority of his action has not been. I have been visiting canada frequently for my outings, if I go oit for dinner or entertainment ive been making a 1 hr drive to do so, vs a 45 minute drive to seattle. I will continue to soend every leisure dollar in canada untill this tarrif trade war is corrected.

I'm a canadian who usually agrees with Trump but in this case I feel like this makes no sense. Not sure exactly why Trump is doing all of this but deteriorating relations between us and impacting our economies in such a way makes no sense to me. The stock market is plummeting, jobs on both sides are at risk, prices on both sides of the border will go up. Btw my job won't be affected by these tariffs so i'm not speaking out of anger or fear for my job.

As a Korean, I stand for Canada and Mexico. Mr.Trump is messing up USA badly and treating USA alliances as an enemy. Through the trade war Mr.Trump started, many USA citizens will suffer economically and crash other economic market for the rest of world. I totally agree with Prime minister Trudeau.
