A couple of icks:\n1: “we hear that there’s lots of Indian people here so we come here” that’s lazy, and coming here to use our land without bothering to learn our customs or meet with our native people.\n2: “it’s like a mini India”\nAgain, that mindset contributes to stealing our native land and using it for your own to take over.\nI don’t care if you’re from Russia or England or any white dominant country either - you can’t just take over entire sectors of land as a whole population from another country. I feel as though they found a loophole and mischievously are abusing it, and over time they took over everything, just like scammers. Just like white colonizers. Which we DONT like to appreciate and we say we wouldn’t tolerate that in this day/age - but look at what’s happening. And to protest that you should stay here forever automatically because of a student permit when our population is overflowing - imagine doing that in any other country. Like China. Or Russia. Go on. Just imagine.

They want to protest but refuse to be interviewed to share their views on what's happening and why they need to leave. If you're there to protest and fight for your rights, it makes sense to take advantage of the interview and clearly express what you're fighting for. Ignoring someone who wants to understand your perspective suggests you may have an attitude problem. This could be the reason you're being targeted—because you're unwilling to do something as simple as explaining what you're standing up for. Kudos to the only man who accepted the interview, even while someone was trying to take the mic away from him. In the end, I hope they can find a solution for both our Canadian and Indian brothers and sisters, and that their countries will prosper again, creating more opportunities for them.

When I was in college, Indian students were my nightmares for group work. My name is Jamie, every time you go for a job at gas station they never hire no body else but Indians. I was born in this country and have never had this problem back in the 90s. How would you feel if traditional Canadians took over India, changed Indian culture, complained about Indian ways, made demands to be treated better than Indians. So there's been an increase on Indian vs Indian crime. As a Canadian child (early 1970's) I collected money with my candy on Halloween for people in Bangladesh. We have food banks and shelters and assistance programs for those suffering misfortune and our society WAS designed around public sharable services and programs. When I was a teen, a Guianese immigrant co-worker told me Canadians are stupid for providing handouts to immigrants and he laughed at me for buying his house with my taxes. In recent years there has been an influx of new residents whose focus is how they can take advantage, what they can get for free and those who try to cheat the system and cheat others. The scams and cheating that sends thousands of Indian students to Canada for an education at a school that cant take them is the same kind of scams starting here. The fraudulent proofs of income banks were receiving for house purchases has resulted in an artificially inflated housing market. I just bought a house and my Canadian born Indian neighbors literally gated and locked me out of $6000 of my land, while we were on good terms, because the felt like it. We were a society built on honor, trust and respect and while I wouldn't say its all the fault of Indians, there are by no means a small percentage and its getting worse.

The problem is Indians are not come to share, but to take over. Why not consider to have better birth control, so a big country like yours would be able to provide all citizens with lots of ...gold.

That is my main concern: many immigrants are not just keeping their old culture but forcing it on native Canadians of all descent. \nFor refugees, it absolutely boggles my mind why you might want to recreate the very situations that you are fleeing from. \nFor Indians specifically, I’ve noticed a tendency to hire only other Indians, excluding Canada from Canadians and I don’t appreciate it. After all, Canada welcomed you. \n\nI think many Canadians had no issue with any culture of nationality. Growing up here, I never saw any hatred or racism, despite what that idiot Trudeau says. In the last 10+ years that’s changed, and the resentment is growing exponentially now.
