I don't know the reason as an outsider why the USA government has let all the illegals in to this country I never will, but at a guess one of the reasons might be because a lot of the Americans are on drugs right now and can't work, so they still need workers in the factories to keep the place going so they just employ cheap labour from other countries to take the place of people that can't work not to help the people of the USA to keep the country going.

The problem is simple. If its an issue of cost of living, while its true that it is very high, its very high across the industrialized world. That is because the causes influencing cost of living are not related to inside Canada but are being influenced by foreign actors which Canada has no control over. The Ukraine-Russia War for example is causing increases to food costs which are not easily overcome. The situation in the Middle East between Hamas and Israel threatens to spiral into a regional war and that threatens the oil supply and the present price for oil and gas. The Houthi have been making it hard to traverse the Red Sea which is forcing shipping to travel around Africa rather than directly through the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean Sea meaning those additional fuel costs get transferred over to the consumer. As for housing, while efforts to cool housing markets have been made, Canada's housing market is still relatively hot meaning the prices remain high in big cities. Its like a perfect storm. Increased costs on mortgages are an attempt to push down inflation but in the short term you are going to feel that as well. Also we are living in a transition period as the world sinks back to the older model of trade before before Bretton Woods in 1947 which is leading to a decoupling of product lines that at one time coming from Asia were cheap but are not more expensive because they are being made back in the home countries. Transitions do come with a price. Finally, add taxes which help to deal with health care, social programs and government services like embassies, foreign missions and the army well yeah its a perfect storm.\n\nI hope you have luck where you end up but do not for a minute assume that the grass is greener on the other side. Even Japan which attempts to keep certain costs low, has been forced to increase its national consumption taxes to offset overall costs. It isn't going to get cheaper but more expensive as we move back to the old trade model. However, as the world weans itself off of the World Trade Organization and the IMF, the world also re-opens the potential to a Great Depression because that was the reason Bretton Woods appeared in the first place. The world isn't going to get better but far worse.

As an Indian I can tell you for sure that Punjab India is corrupt. They make fake asylums and get fake documents from Punjab. They also make fake Khalistani claims. Over our extensive history of immigration our country has experienced chronic separatism, racism, exclusion and of course, bigotry. The *us-against-them* rhetoric is as old as humanity and not exclusionary to Canada. Euro settlers were racist against natives, then blacks, then Eastern Europeans, then Italians, Latinos, Asians, Arabs, Africans and so on. The blame? You called it. It's complicated, but failed economic policies are the root cause. People acting horribly does not help either. Having said that, as a proud Canadian here's a Pro-tip for any newbie emigrating to new pastures - anywhere in the world; Learn the new house rules and behave. I've been experiencing so much discrimination here, both in in-person situations and systemic. Beyond what's said in the video, there is also an issue that it's so alienating. You can't really make friends with the locals, and then, after work, there is no cultural offer either. For example, I just can't go to the cinema in German, because everything is with German dubbing. So, you feel lonely and bored. The only thing that keeps me here is the good quality of life and good healthcare compared to some other EU countries where I lived. But now, that Germany closed its nuclear power plants and can't benefit from the cheap gas from Russia, I guess the economy will go gradually down, and so will the quality of life. And that will mean I will have no reason at all to stay.

I am Canadian born citizen, unemployed, 2 and a 1/2 years. Because I didn't know that the Trudeau government in 2022 when I lost my job due to the pandemic was allowing them to import T.F.W's as executive assistance my level of experience into my industry. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get an interview withe almost 20yrs of experience and I was trying every trick in the book but a week ago I learned that they brought in over 2 years 300,000 admins at all levels from E.A's to receptionist now. So imagine my horror and shock to learn that 5 days ago. But you walk in everywhere. And it's just Indians from every part of South Asia and I am all for immigration I'm a child of an immigrant, but immigration is a science When dealing with a country like Canada, where it's designed to be many cultures like a 20 bean soup. You're supposed to try and keep it at being a 20 bean soup and within 3 years it became like a 2 bean soup. It's a science where you're replacing your dead, and then you bump it up like 10% to grow the population slowly with GDP so that you don't have so many Canadians. Unemployed and temporary foreign workers that come are employed. So everybody's contributing but the way they did the open door everybody bum rush. And over run the country. Our economy is now 60% dependent on people who aren't residents. They're temporary which means when they leave our fake economy is actually only built on 40% to 30% of Canadians. That's an economy that will crash because it's never supposed to be weighted that way, Canadians are supposed to be 60% to 70% of the economy and foreign workers are to be the rest. So we're in trouble when they finally go home, but they need to put a moratorium on PR's, Work permits, LIMA's, T.F.W's and restrict all educational institutions on how many Students they can accept so private schools don't scam students by taking their money then telling them they don't have a seat for them to attend class that is just criminal and do so untill end of 2025 and then review status again for 2026. So Canadians can have a shot at getting work and then slowly introduce them back in as needed for proper slow population growth and not just a free-for-all ability to work anywhere in the whole country. Major cities and everything like that. So people like me can finally get back to work.

Canada is one of the best countries, I agree there are few downfalls, but on the other hand you can’t even in judge a book by just looking at it’s cover. If you are well educated, this country is the best to live in. Canada has already made their immigration policies stern, and are not welcoming everyone now. Do you think Indian politicians are doing good to keep India safe according to their duties? Don’t you think India has a drug problem too? Apply for a visa and come here, you’ll see many people settled, enjoying their life here. People have to face struggles when you move to a new country, it takes time. I think Indian are well settled and living luxurious life here.

As a result, housing market prices goes up in and around these land development projects that the local population are unable to keep up to afford. And it's the fault of both the federal and provincial governments in just letting these wealthy investors gain a monopoly on Canadian soil and artificially driving up housing market prices.\n\nThe influx of international student visas have only exacerbated this housing crisis because land development investors are now using their new establishments as international student housing for profit while pricing out or simply not catering to the need for housing for the local population.

I’ll tell you this right now we are not rich. Whoever thinks Canada is rich doesn’t know reality of it. Most of the people in the country are broke or going broke. The infrastructure of all kind is no longer able to keep up with the demand and population. We are also paying huge amount of taxes like we are taxed on everything. I have done part of my education in Germany with very nice professors. I improved my German language skills to C1 level and still keep learning it. I have been working in some of the most well-known German companies some of which used to be part of Fortune 500. I am very grateful for the opportunity that I was given both at university and work places and the support I got from some of my good managers at the beginnning of my career. However, I should say on a daily basis you will face racist comments and discrimination. Despite high tax that I am paying and doing my best to be useful for the society, at work place you hear a lot of racist comments. When you go out, you can see you are not welcome in the society, and that is not only my problem. At both university and work, international people are together and Germans are within themselves, and you are not welcome being there. Here in Germany this phenomenon is called Parallelgeselschaften or parallel societies. Yes, you see people from all around the world, but it doesn't mean you are in an international place, all the expats are within themselves. The society is not open to accept them. As a specialist, you can be much happier living in an English-speaking country which is tolerant and allows you to be part of the society. I should say however, I have had also nice German colleagues who were really open-minded and truely have an international mindset and separate themselves from the historic racist mindset. I spoke to a RCMP officer (was reporting a scam) and was informed that currently 90% or higher of Canadians who have been scammed were scammed by persons from India. This is why many are upset with you along with the current protests between Punjabi and Hindu that are occurring here, we don't want or need your wars from your country, keep them there. That goes for all nations that bring their wars/fights here.

When you go to ANY COUNTRY on a visa be prepared to for visa related changes (even if you plan to settle n takeup citizenship). No country is OBLIGATED to give PR/ citizenship to visa holders. The government n citizens have the right to change policies to keep their own intrests in mind.

Most Indians are fine and well mannered but I feel they have no interest in Canadian values and culture and prefer to keep there personal and business lives within there own circles.
