It’s insane and predictable that so many people are uninformed about the consequences Trump’s return will have on America and the rest of the world. People sleepwalk with ignorance that nothing bad can happen to them or where they live. They’re going to get a reality check real fast. The rest of us who voted against fascism are preparing for the storm to come.

It’s all a corporate governmental banking and human trafficking scam. Every person the government brings in, the government can borrow from the bank in the form of a bond! Once your visa expires, then you have to leave. And the company that brokered you to get you here requires a fee, plus they get a fee from the government as well. And the company that hires you gets a subsidy from the government. The company won’t tell you that there are limited jobs or housing. They won’t tell you that you can’t use your degree if you have one, when you come here. You have to go threw all the associations and organizations to be qualified to practice your trade.And that costs more money! Back in the 70’s and 80’s people came from many other countries, and within a week or so, you’d have money in your pocket from working a basic job. Now once you get off the plane, you are at least over $40.000 in debt. Your education cost double, housing is limited and expensive along with the hi cost of food and fuel for that expensive used car. Then you find out that you’ve been lied too by the brokers that got you here. And soon as you get your landed status, you get hit with the taxes! And if you have any children during your 5 years, the government tells you that you have to register them, so the government can create another bond, so they can borrow more money from the bank! The government gives you a birth certificate, but they own your children until you go to a court of law to get a certificate of custody! Because if you decide to leave after getting your landed status, the government may not allow you to take your children with you! Look up family court and custody law, once you get here, the government manages you on behalf of those who own you! You need to look it up for yourselves and understand that any western country that you goto is ruled by Rome. And if you came from a country that was once a colony of the British empire, you will get here a little easier, it’s a simple transfer because they have your record on file in the city of London. The place that is 1 square mile within London itself! That place that Rome controls! Yes! It’s a big scam and you are the product!

You should do more expert interviews, and less internet searches for your researches. When it comes to macro scale, the cost of things (or concentration) is at a scale that feels very off for normal people. I also came to Canada in 2006 as an immigrant with my 2 bags and started my new life with empty handed which almost all Indians had started on their time. Yes it’s very hard to adopt other cultures 100% for first generation. But have you think how this new immigrants have their own house and good jobs or business. Why their kids achieved higher education without any loan because their parents worked 7 days without looking around so called culture. They believe in work hard and focus on their family and kids and in extra time visit temple or Gurudwara just to keep live their believes. Do you know how many places where you find 3 times free hot food for everyone in Brampton at Gurudwara and Temple without looking at his originality. \nDon’t think the immigrants are coming here are poor in their country or helpless like refugees. Most of are millionaires in India but in Indian culture the stupid thoughts is to earn for next 7 generations so because of that greediness they work here 7 days and that’s why they are not homeless. As they have some values of their Indian culture they have not drug addictions.\nNot 100% Indian are good and loyal or honest. There are few which you can find in any culture or religion.\nSo in bottom line immigrants are here because of govt policies and invitations. They are not came as refugees. You can’t forced anyone where they have to stay and in how many percentage. Many people don’t live in GTA or ran away from GTA because they can’t afford house and can’t stand in competitive market. Government should skilled own citizen or make more powerful before invite highly skilled immigrants from other countries otherwise new immigrants will take jobs from original and that will be continued with us too.

I understand this woman’s position because she understands the situation unfortunately many people don’t and only focus on the sentimental part of it. Trump ones told his friends that if talking about him would get them hired he said go ahead and trash me and go make your money. during the pandemic many restaurant chains suffered, so later Sikhs Indians, were hired to fill the gap, but now that things are getting back to normal they do not leave and even more come for these entry level jobs, but the problem is if people from India keep taking these jobs, our kids fresh out of high school are looking for their first jobs to break into the work force, which is now becoming difficult as the Sikhs already have already taken them.....

What about the illegal immigration? People come to Canada under visitor visa and they can even work unionized, open bank account, get a credit card, build credit score, financing a car, open a company. Its crazy! How can it happens? \n\nThousands of YouTube channels (in many languages) teaching what to say, how to behave, how to lie to immigration officers at the airport when getting in Canada. Also teaching tourists how to get jobs, open bank account, etc. (how I said above).

The thing too is the bad people coming now get so much free stuff. The rest of the immigrants who built this country had no programs yet have to pay for the newcomers who are changing the country. So some things aren't the Indians fault. The rest of us who came and adapted now face discrimination from newcomers and our own people who say Canada has no culture. I come from a time when foreigners got along for the most part. Now so many groups that all hate each other. This isn't just a white or black thing it's an out of control immigration system where people use loopholes in the system to gain residency. This anti-immigration isn't isolated in fact most immigrants who's lived in Canada all their lives have expressed deep concern that the government is letting in too many from one nation and the lopsided admittance is part of the concern. The metrics of the majority of new immigrants come from the Middle East and India how can anyone not notice the concern that many have been expressing for a decade. Canadians aren't against immigrants it's that we didn't expect to just let anyone in without actually knowing how to speak English or have etiquette and follow laws. Many have concerns that many of the new comers can't even speak English yet they have license to drive and how do we get around most bend the rules or the law. Myself I've notice a skyrocketing scam scheme and how can you not equate that to the rise in our broken immigration policy. The last time I heard you had to have certain criteria to be considered to immigrate and why is that some countries like from the South Pacific you need to know English have money in the bank and a skill or degree on a list of acceptable qualifications. So many who can't even read or write English have jobs, drive a car, then to make matters worse have housing yet we have a crisis? Most Canadians see the pattern and most are educated enough to know there is something to be said, loopholes and when they find it they abuse the system.

It’s important that we don’t attribute all the issues we have on immigrants, yes there are clear issues that are correlated but there are many of these issues that are systemic in nature. We have to be very careful not to put all issues on those who are coming here to make a better life for themselves.

How many part-time jobs do they expect these people to work to pay for rent? Finding a full-time job is almost impossible. Coming to Canada exspecting the country to look after them? The companies take hours away from their employees and create another part-time position, then gets a bonus from the government as part of the new employee wages are paid. Same hours for the company but paying less wages and keeping the profits. Who is does this benefit? Not the workers that then need another part-time job to feed their kids. Filling up schools with people who do not met the education requirements with bogus paperwork. Who are then forced to attend a strip mall schools. Are their diplomas even valid? No proper place to live and using foodbanks. Anyone with this paperwork should be refused at airport not supported. Most are coming from counties that have schools. Because really would you want them managing your money, running the country or are they going to work at Tim Hortons? No wait their fellow countrymen will then use them in scams. Wake up they are making a cast system here.

But today Ontario with 18% acceptance of international students to medical school (of course they went back to their countries to practice,leaving us short of family doctors) has now ban this practise to medical schools. Hopefully other provinces. will do the same. There are many of young Canadians who want to study medicines who couldn’t get in. My friends daughters had to go to Caribbean’s and UK to study and eventually has to stay there because they met their partners there and also could not convert their degrees to return to Canada. Canada only accept 400 out of 1400 doctors to come back here per year.

Way to many Indians it's just crazy. They come over then they bring their parents, aunts, uncles\nGrandparents. Let's look after Canada first. And raise workers wages so Canadians can take the jobs. As FRENCH, I think it is more an issue with policies set by both governments!!! You know you bring students IN and why don’t you build houses and encourage construction???? In France, many students (mainly Africa, and French departments like Guadeloupe, Tahiti or Martinique) come to study there (for free and we are proud of it!!!) BUT - unlike Canada - we do NOT have the same issues as Canada (our healthcare is NOT under pressure and our housing prices haven’t really increased that much as compared to Canada for example!!!) to me, the students are NOT to blame!!! It is the fault of the deciders (at different level) who have FAILED to set the right policies!!!! The schools are also to blame as some (not all) are so obsessed with making profits out of the higher international fees, which by way, subsidize Canadian students!!! So in Canada (not in France or Germany), the money that allows schools to function come from international students who BRING LOTS OF MONEY for the Canadian economy!!!! in France, it is different as the universities are FREE and are fully subsidized by the French government… but yes;) you have to speak French fluently to attend them!!! \nSo dear Canadians, do not blame foreign students thanks to whom your universities thrive and remain existant!!! Without them (namely the Indians too), the Canadian universities will struggle to find money and funding! Remember, the system in France is TOTALLY different!!!!\nAlso, reading from comments, I notice that many here have NEVER alert their own country!!! I live in the United States and I’ve met lots of Canadians who visited the US have come down to live here\n\nI have to admit I’ve only been to Canada twice in my life\n\nI have immigrant family, who lives in Canada and my European Background mothers family came from Montreal to the US over hundred years ago\n\nNeedless to say, I’m familiar with Canadians that I meet here in the US\n\nI am aware that many Canadians superficially to Americans look like Americans, but aren’t and I know from Canadians that they find the lifestyle in parts of the United States, a little bit too intense and experience and expectation\n\nWhat you will find if you look at Canada’s past, history is a trail of Canadians. Who’ve had to come down to the US for employment opportunities as Canada has time not being able to provide the opportunity and sustenance for their population.\n\nI would have to say that perhaps maybe prior to the 2010’s Canada was doing very well and providing quality life for their population and their citizens and the residence\n\nWhat you find out personally is that is being mismanaged when it comes to immigration capital investment in industries And worst of all, not being able to ride housing in a place where exposure to the elements could be certain death for some people\n\nThere user based national health system seems to be freeing and not being able to provide the services that they once provided, which is also something that’s really troubling\n\nAnd now I hear that they have problems providing food at an affordable amount\n\nI wish you well and fighting a place that gives you better comfort and opportunities to grow and affordable lifestyle\n\nI can’t say in the United States you’re gonna find better you’ll find certain cost of living items a lot more affordable, but we do not have a safety net when it comes to healthcare

I am in Canada, born in India. I agree there are many Indian brown people here. It’s the govt that invited people, accepted them for the jobs they were unable to fulfill . These are highly educated, skilled and hardworking people. 25% all income from education comes from Indian people. Not to mention the high wages and high taxes they pay, inturn making Canada great. \nI also agree, there are some nasty people out there like any other race be it white, black, brown or purple. The bad guys need to be stopped. They are skilled migrants. Why do Canada take them in? Because they lack skilled white people to do their jobs. Also lack of population. Indians don’t do drugs and they work and earn money and contribute to the society. And for the matter of fact they don’t just come from India they are invited to Canada from India by Canadian government policies and by Canadian companies. Medical and IT professionals are given big offers to come and live in Canada. However that may not be the case for students. Students are in large numbers and they want to stay back. Too many students is a problem. Colleges just take in too many of them, because they pay the money. Bring some control over colleges and students intake. There are too many new colleges just for business and that’s not good.

Have been saying it for years to many international students from India lived in qc there were so many international students coming from Punjab to qc. They will go just about anywhere in Canada if it means it will get them a PR wow left qc and moved to Ottawa so far have not seen so many international students . Even as a Born Canadian my parent came from India back in the 80s\nDon’t want to live with Indians . That came from India in 2024 they are rude to girls on the bus have no shame . Ben living in Canada for 40+ years only know there has been a. Influx of migrants from India. Before the people come they at least new basic English and got usto the way of living the new once they don’t even know basic English and don’t have any common sense how they pass is beyond me . Blame TRUDEAU for opening the flood gates. Indians that have been living in Canada for years were finally getting respected and it all went down hill .

Parents come to Canada to provide free babysitting and cooking services to grandchildren . If they feel lonely it’s because they are not here to make friends but to stay at home . I one case , a grandparent fell ill in Canada and was sent back to India because of inadequate health insurance to take care of himself there on his own while the grandmother was not allowed to go and continued to babysit . These grandparents often are subjected to huge indignities. Lot of comments on how India is so good and Canada so bad . That is so ridiculous. I do not see people immigrating from Canada to India . I do not understand the tale about not getting fresh vegetables . Just step into Loblaws , Zehr , Metro and see what a lie it is . I agree many ethnic stores stock stale vegetables kept in unhealthy conditions . If food doesn’t taste good it’s became no one in the household , neither the grandparents nor the parents , can cook. That is because in India much of cooking is done by servants .

At the end , student and their parents are making decisions. So, please educated yourself about Canada and be prepared(support system) for unexpected situations. I have heard many students came here for useless courses and programs and paying hectic colleges fees . Why ??? I don't understand\n\n Please do research about job opportunities in Canada and most importantly requirements to fill the job before you put your money and heart and come to Canada
