Bruh I went on vacation there and had my little bubble burst! Indians are everywhere. I didn’t feel like I got any Canadian culture experience at all! We saw one stereotypical Canadian and 3 French Canadians. In top of that they were extremely rude and they smell bad. Save your country Canada. The west is struggling hard right now

I am by heritage a white, Irish/English person. When my forefathers came here in the 16th and 17th centuries they were primarily monogamous and competed with those of French heritage to run this fledgling country. Now the immigration is coming from Asian and Middle Eastern countries. Why do Canadians of European backgrounds feel they have exclusivity of this country ?

Guy at 12:55 does not know his Canadian history...there were initially British, French, FN and Metis cultures for a long time, that have not even really fully blended/settled yet, good lord, after over ~200 years. This is why as an American in Québec I fully support Québec independence. French-Canadians are the original European Canadians going 400 years back. I am shocked to hear this from a CBC reporter saying IMMIGRANTS get money from the government!! Where on earth did you get this ,outrageous information!! People who apply to come to Canada as legal immigrants , have to go through a strict points system.that can take years . Plus medical and security checks. They have to speak English or French , be educated and most of all have a skill ,trade or profession that Canada needs!as Canada does not have enough highly skilled workers. Like IT professionals, doctors ,engineers, nurses etc. They have to have a job offer .etc etc .They have to have the means to support themselves and their family . Toronto is NOT a melting pot. I would say Montreal is a melting pot where all cultures contribute to the French culture. Toronto just has a bunch of different communities coexisting rather than melting in a pot.

How about to require new immigrants coming in to satisfy some minimal obligations: they must be literate in English or/and French. They cannot come with a criminal record on the books. They cannot have chronic illnesses requiring lengthy or prolonged hospitalization, at the expense of the country. They must have some sort of vocational background: they must be skilled in a job or a vocation, specifically in cyber technology, financial arena, teaching, industrial experience above the level of manual or piece labor. And they must have some kind of financial backing of their own; money in the bank, relatives already in Canada with whom they might live and share expenses. Canada can rightfully close its doors to any immigrant with a prison record-esp. in violent crimes or theft; to any person coming to its doors with only the shirt on their backs and a large family, and to those who are illiterate in either French or English (or both). Nor should Canada feel itself bound and obligated to admit to its territory, as new citizens, anyone coming from an Asian community bringing with them a culture alien to the religion of its own citizenry.

Toronto is literally a drug infested crime ridden menace of a place. There are shootings every month. Public transit is so poorly planned. Homeless everywhere. Found my sister binge watching this channel and i have to say all of these questions aren't new. If you never travelled to these countries before, you wouldn't know them. It's standard for the Americas, Europe. Nothing like you heard it here first.\n\nI remember last year I told the immigration officer in British Columbia that I spoke a little french, and she suddenly spoke French to me, to see if i wasn't lying. It is old information, and so are deportations.

This is heartbreaking for me personally. I’ve followed all the rules, provided excellent marks for both English and French, spent tens of thousands of dollars and seven years of work experience to get my PR.
