I would say, we Canadians are simply mad about the illegal immigration and the non vetted and and somewhat entitled immigrants that destroy our way of life. I live in Surrey, which is predominantly Indian, and we don't suffer these issues as we don't have a lot of the illegals coming here that is noticeable at least. I think Ottawa and Toronto is seeing most of these negative issues because of the large amount of new illegals coming there and not having access to homes and our comforts we take for granted here in Canada. I also think it is frustrating to have leaders that pander to these illegals for their votes. So in all I think Canadians, Indians included, are feeling frustrated and angry about the lack of leadership and structure in the immigration system to educated and enforce some basic standards of our beautiful country. I appreciate this video, but please know the majority of Canadians do not blame the whole community for the poop on the beach stuff. I would also appreciate if the black community would take the same approach to addressing their community regarding the entitlement of some of the black community and how rude and criminal they are in large groups.

Many of the problems you mentioned in the video could be slowly fixed by a better government. Canada certainly needs change, but it has potential very few countries have. We have pretty much every natural resources in abundance. There are many smart and well educated people here. All we need is good leadership i think.

Nobody speaks up, but it's the truth. Canada use to be a squeaky clean country and well-respected around the world. Use to be in the top 5 of best places to live. Now it's not even in the top ten. Toronto as large as it is, use to be a very clean city compared to other cities in the States during Mayor Art Eggleton's day. Now it's fallen by the wayside. There are more homeless than homes. Less jobs than before and at the same time prices for everyday items have risen. Absolutely ridiculous. Somebody up there is not doing their job. I think it is largely due to really poor and incompetent leadership and to some extent, a lack of independence to do what is best for Canada instead of another country. I grew up in the country since I was born (I turn 30 next year), and it's the most beautiful place I've ever seen. But I want to leave, because (as an employed electrical engineer), I will never be able to afford a house or a family. And the values of kindness and generosity that seemed an integral part of Canadian society have been replaced by apathy, indifference, and selfishness. People have given up, leadership is completely out of touch, and the general hate for humanity I encounter on a daily - DAILY - basis makes this place almost unliveable.

This piece is misleadingly titled. It's not that Canadians are anti-immigration. It's that the Government is not preparing the country for the influx of the immigration it's attracting. There's no housing, there's no schooling, there's no social structures in place to support the newcomers. Canadians are not against immigration. So I have suggestions for improvement for both India and Canada \nIndia - Population control bill needed now, strict implementation of anti corruption laws on all whether bureaucrats or politicians, improvement in education at all levels (skill enhancement).\nCanada - A better leadership needed. Trudeau failed miserably. Canada needs to start making it's own stuff now i.e. focus on manufacturing industries and increase in exports, can't rely on US for everything. Pvt players to be introduced in healthcare to lessen the burden of public healthcare. Housing needs better regulations now. And immigration should be merit based (current point system is not bad) but don't give it to everybody like they did during Covid time. Everybody was granted PR despite very low CRS score. And avoid more refugees.
