Funny how things work… the exact same 10 things but in reverse of why i’m moving to Canada from Mexico tired of not having rules, excesive tax and politiciand stealing literally and in plain sight. too much heat, people mindset, working culture, need a well planned city for once in my life, i guess we always want what we never had.\nHuman nature at it’s finest! Good video btw

All Canada not only Vancouver it’s very isolated.\nPeople can’t afford to buy a house because the house marketing is 3 times the price compared to USA. The houses have shitty materials compared to my original country, and you simply can’t built by your own and that’s why every price rises.\nAnother issue you didn’t mention it’s there is no scholarships, it’s incredible expensive to get a proper education like university, and even so, they no offered scholarships. In Mexico almost everyone can reach the opportunity to study to be anything (lawyers, doctors) AND there is why you can get professional services everywhere. Here in Canada the business never have profesional services (like a real Human Resources, who studies for 5 years to be the best influence in a company, or a real engineering taking care of the machines in a plant. Canada only hire the cheap hand to avoid paying and I can understand it, but if more people could study more money moves in the country.\nAnother issue is there is not any public transportation into the cities or provinces, so if you don’t have a car, a driver license (it’s not easy to get one) and pay the super expensive insurance (it’s incredible 10 times more expensive than in Mexico) your can’t move from the place you are. Because of the weather you simply can’t move in a bike.\nPeople live just for pay rent, buy some groceries and buy some pre owned cloths in the thrift store.\nAnother problem it’s many rules to open a small bussines (like selling some food) \nHealth care it’s not exactly free: you need to pay for your prescriptions out of the hospital or if you never been hospitalized. And it’s very expensive to pay for them. You have to wait (to be true emergencies are different, they are good on that) you have to wait like 12-24 months to get an appointment with a specialist (gynecologist, etc) dental is not covered. \n\nExcuse my English I know it’s not very good but I love your video and I had to left my comments

hi thank you for this video! i just want to clarify something. you don't need to have a job offer after finishing a two year program as an international student? also, as i've read in the website of ircc, it was stated that you need to be a full time student in order for you to apply. Does this mean you can't work part time while studying?
2022-06-21 0
Thank you so much for your video! There’s only one thing that I didn’t understand: the job offer is mandatory even if you are an international graduate? Or international graduates don’t need a job offer? Thanks

Thanks for such good explanation, however, I have a query, I am in Canada on a visitors permit and have applied for OSWP. But according to the video I need to have a job offer from these Atlantic provinces, but how will any employer give us a job without a valid work permit. So should we wait until we get the work permit and then apply for the PR? Or my spouse is on closed work permit in Ontario so should he have a job offer in Atlantic provinces? Before applying for the PR?

It is a very insightful video about what aspects of lifestyle can be very depressing for people. Also, habits define your life. People are not the most highly social in the USA. I moved to Mexico. I missed the tropics and I missed a less planned social life. At the same time, I think the economic pressures that people live in Africa and Latin America need to be addressed. Stay home and work on improving economics for your African or Latin American nations. Trading in extended family and the love of the community for money and loneliness is not worth it. What is worth it is an effort put in to improve the finances of nations with strong communities. The best of both worlds. Excellent video from EBS scholars.

Hi all how you all doing ,hope your all well.\n\nOoh yeah i wanna marry from there and am so.used to.loneliness which is better than the toxic beings.Believe you me there's nothing out here that is WORTH IT,only a Roof over your head. \n\nAnd what would Pipo do outside of you have nothing to do....it's not like idlers sitting out there.\n\nManze we need each other at the end of the day....be kind to your neighbour ...stop being stingy with love care, play together.i guess even here in Africa we shall come to that.ONE HAS TO GET HOME SICK FADT TO STYLE UP.Culture shock.\n\nThat's why when most of this guy's come back they act different and we despise them because we don't know the shock they had and Culture shock they got to adapt the life style.\n\nThanks fr the video

The stress and the pressure we live under is what weighs us down. We do not want to deal with other peoples problems. \n We have compassion fatigue. \nI can totally relate to the person who commented that it was not always this way- especially when we had more people who loved God and less fear about everything.\n When I was a child all the kids played together in groups- until dark and dinner time. People looked out for each other.\n Now, everyone is afraid to be taken advantage of because it happens so much. \n This is very sad. \nLord, have mercy on us. We lost our way.\n The best thing to do is find a community of people to pray with and share your life with.\n Thank you for this video. We needed to hear this. \n Yes, where are the children? No one can afford them anymore.

?Agreed and Amen to this honest video observation. And When we are greedy selfish and absolutely hate people around / worried or afraid about spending money to call them over as guests mixing with other ethinicities for even a cup of tea. You must understand our culture or values in this country are solely based on what do you have for us or what can you do for me that i need to entertain your existence. Sad but true fact .. MIC DROP ! ?

Good video. For people used to living in 'communities' this lifestyle can be tough to adjust. People need people & ways to share/socialize etc. Without that support system, it can have adverse effect on the mind & thought process in the long term. People feel light if they share their joys & sorrows with others; interact with people and gain from that experience. You can post more videos on the 'psychological' affects on life, as this is ignored in favor of materialistic benefits!

Hello Jason, You are doing wonderful job. Your videos are very clear to understand. I had a question. I along with my wife want to immigrate into Canada and for that i will be primary applicant giving IELTS general training exam but do my wife need to give IELTS General training or academic test ? She will study after the immigration.

Great video ? Well Said dear brother ? unfortunately some of us Africans don't see life beyond money particularly of Nigerians. \n\nSecond. They're head dipped into western propaganda and slave mentality. They don't listen no matter what you tell them.\n\nThat's their problem but I get really offended when they advise me from Africa that America is good for me after living here 25 years. I really get nasty with them when they try to discourage me from moving back home to Nigeria. \n\nAt this point in my life, I just need peace, serenity, friendship and human touch. The West isn't a natural habitat for humans.

Thanks your video! Very detail and step by step.\n\nMay I ask several questions?\n1. Normally how many points they need for express entry? I know every time maybe different, but can I check somewhere what is the points for last draw as reference?\n2. For ielts, is it general one or academic? Or I can use either one of them?\n3.Just want to know if I got the PR document in Canada, in case I fly back to home town to handling the immigration matters, any deadline for landing in Canada again?

Some things about Nova Scotia I think should be mentioned: \n\nJust Halifax and the south shore has mild weather. Anywhere north of Halifax and it is very snowy due to the Frozen Northumberland Strait, Bay of Fundy and the Cape Breton highlands. We are EXTREMELY HUMID. We might not (usually) hit 40 degrees like other provinces, but our humidex temperature can sometimes go above 38 several times a WEEK.\n\nOur wages need to catch up and our healthcare sucks. Our population is EXPLODING. This video is already outdated. When it was released on the 3rd of October is had 982,000. It already has 1,003,000 as of this comment!!!! This is causing house prices to absolutely explode. Which is ticking off locals on top of a super deadly shooting in 2020 and covid, we are a little worn out and cranky I've noticed lately. But we are usually the nicest people ever! \n\nNova Scotia is so beautiful and wonderful.

One of the dumbest videos ever. I’m an immigrant in the US (now a citizen), except for lack of jobs and weather every thing you talk about applies any where for an immigrant. I wanted to go back when I first moved to the US but fought it out with a low paying job before I ended up becoming an Executive. It’s not just Canada - for brown folks like me moving to Russia would be even worse! Also no immigrant leaves Canada in winter to vacation elsewhere in the world unless they are retired or rich. Immigrants are not bears to not work in winter and hibernate. Fun fact - it rains more in Atlanta than in Vancouver, we had 70” rain in 2020, 50”+ in 2021. You folks need to stop spreading this fake BS!

Hi Jason. Your videos are super useful thank you for wonderful and easily understandable content. I have a question. Do we need to pay additional Charges for various PNP Applications

Wanted to check what is the duration of single entry visa which has an expiry date? You mentioned in the video that one needs to fly to canada before this expiry date.

Thank you for the detailed video. \nCouple of questions - Iam currently in Canada on a work permit and When creating an EE or PNP should the NOC code be the same as what was used on my initial work permit application? \nAnd when I get an ITA while in Inland, do I still need to go back and re-enter to initiate my PR?

Hi Jason love the video it’s very helpful! \nI just have one clarification \nMy education background compromises of one diploma and my degree duration of each was one year in total it’s 2 years \nBut in the calculation there’s a comment that’s adds saying the bachelor needs to be 3 years or more however my highest qualification is the bachelors. Therefore, can I choose the bachelors option ??

This is really confusing...you said to be ready with COPR... And in your COPR video ur saying that we don't need to raise...employer would raise... Atleast I'm confused...

Hi... The video was amazing...What's the bank balance we need to show per person to go further for applying PR?

This is an amazing thoughtful video. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs explains so much of what people go through despite knowing all that could go wrong. I have a cousin who was in a small government job in Pakistan and got Canadian immigration. He kept delaying his move and eventually never moved to Canada because he realized how hard it will be to start all over again. Now he is so thank full that he never made the move. His case proves the proverb that one in hand is better than ten in the bush.

I simply watched the first 3 minutes of your video and knew that right off the mark YOU ARE PERFECTLY RIGHT. Ontario alone has so many cab drivers that are foreign trained doctors that are badly needed as it has the worst healthcare system in Canada outside of the northern territories. Immigrants coming to Canada are also the best job creators in Canada and as such are much needed since the Canadian government has repeatedly failed to support its own industries and people since the 1950's. GREAT JOB LADIES.

I have watched lot of videos but yours was pretty clear and good. Helped me to understand well.\nI just have one doubt \n\nI am having family with 1 child but in begining they are not coming with me.\nSo how much proof of funds do I need to show and at which stage we need to show proof of funds.

I like how y’all have created this video by not applying a negative undertone rather more of an informative approach to caution prospective movers of what potentially awaits them. All I would like to highlight is the fact that some people will experience all these points as negative aspects or maybe even one or two that might lead to the breaking point.\nIt all depends on where you come from and how life was in your “home” country.\nYou might come from a higher tax environment with non existent healthcare and education. From that perspective, 40% taxes might look better and the healthcare might be great or crap depending on what your health issues are. I personally haven’t had any struggles with most of these aspects - finding a great job was relatively easier, (key word - relatively) the healthcare system worked for me when I needed it to, I was mentally prepared for the high taxes, I culturally adapted to the point where people thought I was Canadian and didn’t realize I came in from a very different environment. I’m sure this cultural adaptation helped me with my job and made it easier to live here.\nAll in all, you can say I’ve had the “perfect” immigrant experience that most people would dream of. But what do i think really? Personally, I have come to realize that Canada at the moment does not fit into my personal goals and values and that is okay. Loneliness away from people you love can be tough. It just isn’t the same feeling making new friends and hanging out with coworkers who are much older than you are and in a different place in life. I’m very close to my family and friends who I’ve grown up with and are on the other side of the world. My parents are getting older and I want to spend as much time with them as possible. For that reason, I might consider being somewhere closer to them. I’d perhaps consider coming back here some day when I’ve got my own family and kids which I currently don’t have. To me, that’s a personal value high on the list. I guess my only takeaway from this video and advise to people looking at each of these points - take each one and compare it with your home country. If you think you’re better off in Canada, then move - it’s a great place! If not, think about it real hard and weigh out the pros and cons.

Taking a step backwards in your career, or new studies, new interests ... is the way to approach any new country. If you want to be heralded for coming from somewhere else you need to cluster in ex-Pat retirement communities. Yikes! I am about to emigrate to Ecuador. I was going to pursue the same things, and then I thought about it and ... That is a way to easily find defeat, re-learning, re .... So now I am looking forward to learning something new that I have no past experience of. I have moved to other countries before, this is not my first time emigrating. I am Canadian. It will always be my home, but ... it can be a bit boring. LOL \nThis is a really good video for people thinking of immigrating anywhere.

I live in Quebec's Outaouais region and through I love my home and would likely never move there needs to be mention that many of my fellow Québecois are very intolerant of race and language differences and the more you go north the worse it gets. I don't know how it stacks up to the rest of the country, maybe you could do a video on that.
