Why do they think they are entitled to push their way through our borders? We have a finite amount of resources and the number of homeless Americans are growing. We can’t support the world’s population so the number of people we let into the country has to be controlled. I hope the current administration can clean up the chaos caused by the previous administration.

My wife came to America from Russia over 20 years ago.. It took her 3 1/2 years to get approval to come to America legally… she’s now an American citizen.. it’s people like her that are livid over this mess. I’m sick of these bleeding heart liberals acting like we’re supposed to let everybody in because they want a better life…. Fix your own country. Don’t be a drain on us.

That was an excellent news report and puts some light on the real situation . I do feel sorry for those who were under temporary protection orders that should have just applied for citizenship as soon as possible and the majority would have got it . Many of these people were let down by the Biden administration , their community leaders and immigration advisors that should have helped and encouraged them to apply , but alas now it's too late . I know a bit about this kind of thing because my Mother and Father lied to me as a child and told me I was a citizen when I was not . I only found out when I joined the Army and they picked it up . There was no problem as I immediately applied to become a citizen and it was accepted .\nI don't know how many official documents I signed and told a lie about being a citizen , it gave me nightmares . Never lie to your children about that kind of thing .

I personally do support that we should all have proper documentation for each and everyone of us. We can not just be all over. Im not saying chase people away, but lets all try to clean our land to have order.

If anyone has seen a trans person who is going through any psychological stress or issues, you know that they can be some of the most viable and erratic people. You certainly would not want to give them an M4 rifle or anything of the sort. the fact is, they were given a slew of dangerous chemicals to try and let their bodies mimic being another gender. But they never were another gender and their psyche starts to scream out against themselves.

I have a lot of sympathy for these people, especially considering many gave up everything they had to pay smugglers to get this far while our government was effectively letting everyone in while offering additional incentives such as money and temporary housing. That said, if we don't have borders we don't have a country. Add on the massive welfare state that they will all become burdens on, either immediately or eventually, and it becomes clear to anyone with a little bit knowledge and common sense that the policies of the Biden administration that allowed things to get this bad, if not stopped immediately, would mean the end of the middle class, the further impoverishment of the lower class and massive benefits for the wealthiest among us. And when I say wealthy I'm not talking about the guy making 7 figures. I mean those who control billions, either directly or indirectly. I am a newfoundlander known across the country as a NEWFIE. You ask would i give up by birthplace to move to the USA? I wouldn't consider moving to anywhere in Canada let alone move to the USA. We have health insurance which is taken care of by government, we have Dental care that's taken care of by government we have Starbucks, Tim Horton's, and all the other goodies you mentioned here or you think are goodies. We have very nice people and everyone is willing to help and not stab the neighbour in the back. We have some of the best that nature has to offer. Move? Not bloody likely.

I feel bad for some of these folks who may have left their country under bad conditions, for instance venezuela, imagine the harsh journey they had to take to get to the border and then to be denied entrance, this is where the desperation is coming from, such an extreme let down at the end of the journey.......... what do some of these people do who have absolutely no money left and have a kid or 2 with them? and their like 1000 miles from their point of origin?....holy smokes.

No one made the social net in Canada for us, we made it for each other. That's democracy. Having said, that, I use the healthcare system as little as possible while others are breaking its back with minor colds, especially since Covid. Fear of lack of healthcare was not the Canadian norm, but seems to have become that way resulting in people destroying a good thing and getting lazier about personal responsibility! So much talk about politics everywhere now and not much talk about responsibility for ourselves let alone our neighbours. Politicians are not gods!
