I stand with Canada's Prime Minister and the other parties that have allied with the PM's office. I disagree with Trump.

It is sad seeing two people set up America in flames. We may not have any allies left at the end of Trump's 4 years. Any American who is not appalled by Trump's actions must be out of their mind. Let us put our political differences behind us and fight against this nonsense in the Oval Office.

Fellow Americans, let's save money by not buying from red USA states or Republican- allied companies, then we can go ahead and spend more to get Canadian products. Put a big MADE IN CANADA sticker on it, and I'll buy it.

In California but 1000% Team Canada. I am actively seeking out Canadian products to replace those from red states. (Canadian Mist, Crown Royal and many others are excellent replacements for Kentucky whiskeys.) I hope (and expect) that Blue State governors are working with Canada and our other allies to put the squeeze on Trump-supporting states and industries. While I hold out little hope that Trump cultists will ever not be brainwashed, putting them through direct and maximum pain is the only possible way out. Canada, elbows up! Turn out the lights, raise the price of our oil and know that true Americans are with you every step of the way.

Any time you are on any kind of team, the teammates you want are ones you can trust, ones that will keep their word. One thing that has made the US strong is the allies we have. He have been able to keep these allies because, in general, we have stuck to agreements we have made with other countries historically. If you have an ally that doesn’t fulfill their end of agreements then they are not much of an allie. If Trump is thinking he can “replace” our current allies and just go become allies with Russia—Russia doesn’t have a good track record on following through on agreements in the last few decades.

Trump is a Russian asset. He is actively reducing US influence in the world and rapidly eroding trust with allies. These are goals shared by Putin, a mass murderer.

Putin is like the abusive boyfriend that's trying to isolate his girlfriend (U.S.) from her family and friends (Canada and our allies) so that he can beat us freely without anyone interfering.

USA is planning to take territories that have rare earth minerals (to compensate for the Chinese blockade of such minerals), or other strategic resources. This includes Canada (minerals, oil), Greenland (geographic security), Panama (logistic security), and Ukraine (minerals).\n\nUSA is also using rhetoric to pave the way for a war on Europe, so that USA and Russia can divide Europe between them. The words being used are that Europe is no longer democratic or secure (Vance) or that Europe is generally a bad place in a bad situation (Trump).\n\nEurope would do well to create their own military, and reduce their dependencies on USA as well as Russia. Europe would do well to seek other allies and new alliances, and to prepare for war.

Trump and Vance are so thick they do not know that Russia is an ally of Iran, North Korea, the Taliban and various other scum.

As a European, more specifically someone from The Netherlands. I will not forget the sacrifices the Canadians have made to safe my country from a murderous regime that had taken over our sovereign country. The Netherlands will always stand with our friends. May the US finds it senses sooner rather than later. This is no way to treat your friends and allies.

I love Canada. Trudeau is just doing what he has to do. I harbor no ill will for Canada or the tariffs they will impose on us. As an American, I am appalled by Trump’s actions. I, for one, agree that his reasons for imposing tariffs is a lie. I strongly disagree with his blatant disregard for America’s allies. There is NO justification for aligning the US with Putin. If he thinks Putin has our interests in mind, he is crazy! Before it’s too late, I hope that his cabinet, the house, and senate realize that they can no longer support a president who does not support our interests as a country.
