As a revert, born and raised here in Canada (Canadian 27yo F), this is one of my biggest wish to do my Hijra and move somewhere else. I truly want to wear the hijab and be in a muslim environment. I see Canada degrading so much and I really don’t want myself to live in this. I was thinking about the Emirates because I can easily speak English but I’ve read good things about it and also “bad” things.

As a native Canadian I totally understand your stand on winter and inflation. As a native Canadian I think we don't inform immigrants and outsiders that winter climate does to alot of people. There is a seasonal affective disorder (very prevelent) in my father's family and even my mother unfailing optimism get's like you fatigue at the very least. Kids love winter but yes as a adult or even a teen many people retreat and feel isolated. As for inflation, I do hope you find a country where the gouvernement(s) aren't denying the insanity that is going on. To be honest, after centuries of being a Quebec native, I have fantasized very heavily about moving myself because even with a good salary things each year since Covid-19 have become just terribly expensive and it affect primarily basic shelter and food needs. It's absurd! Good luck on your way settling where ever you will!

As a single muslim, thinking about getting married and the future beyond, I too am considering moving. I am just limited by my choices of countries as I require good health care due to certain lung and heart conditions. I am looking forward to the video of the countries you guys are considering moving to.

Qatar is a really good country to live for Muslims. I grew up in Qatar, and my family still lives in Qatar. I moved to Canada after I got married.

Don’t move to Canada. I’ve lived here all my life and it’s gotten so bad every where you look there’s homeless camps. There’s people living in recreation vehicles on the side of the road. I hope when refugees and immigrants land on Canadian soil they get issued a tent and a hand shake (good luck)

All the five points are okay. Where ever you move there are challenges. If one is getting a job in the middle east, go ahead for short term. Muslims have still different problems in every Muslim country. Good luck and best wishes and prayers.

I left Canada in 2023 January because of One reason. In Schools they teach kids how to change the gender and how to take drugs which will not harm. \nCanadian values doesn’t aligned with my family, cultural values so I left Canada even I was earning good money. But money has no value if you are unable to raise the kids properly. \nI left Canada and it’s been 1 year I am living in my home country India and I have zero regret about leaving Canada. Canada country was good when I came in 2017 but now everything is changed. My sister and brother in law they also moved from Toronto to Dubai because they also think that there children will have no future in this country. \nMy brother in law told me Dubai is very good for raising kids, have moral and cultural values. Respect for everyone. No drugs promotion, No gender change promotion in Dubai, quality of health care and education is way better than western countries. Strict rules for women safety.

I would expect you to move back eventually, many of the things you have listed are worse in other places of the world, and I suspect that you take many things for granted such as peace, stability, healthcare, etc. \nI would still encourage you to go ahead as it could be worth the experience and lessons learned. I’m from the US born and raised in chicago, converted while living in Chicago and the Bridgeview community is so amazing Mashallah. I moved to CA when I got married, and the Muslims are dispersed and don’t practice openly. I really don’t love any community I’ve been involved in the past 6 years in CA. In February 2023 we moved to Amman, (my husband was born and raised in Jordan all his family is here) it’s been good but we couldn’t find a source of income so we have to move back to the US. But we’re moving to Chicago now. And if we can afford it, will send our kids to Amman in the summer.

While your reasons for moving are very understandable and commendable, I also get a feeling of hopelessness when I hear that western countries are becoming hostile environments for practicing Muslims. I moved to Europe from Pakistan and I am constantly in a conundrum of whether I would want to settle here permanently. On one hand, the cultural differences here means that I will probably always feel like an outsider in this society and will always have to work harder to be able to practice my religion freely and to find a good community around me. On the other hand, because of Pakistan's economic situation, going back means constantly living under the threat of financial insecurity and a plethora of other problems such as a corrupt justice system, a weak passport etc. Not to even take into account that the average Pakistani society is just Muslim by name and not in actual practice. So it feels like there isn't any clear options and you just have to weigh the pros and cons of each situation. But I would warn you that while it's easy to say that you want to live in a Muslim country, the reality is hardly as idyllic. Its easy to play the azan in a mall but it's difficult to create a society that actually adheres to and values Islamic principles, and in Pakistan's case I don't think such a society exists. You would also find that many Muslim countries' leaderships have supported tyrannical regimes and nobody's hands are actually clean. It's a complicated decision but I hope you find a situation that works for your family.

You are making me happy and proud. May Allah reward you for all the good things your doing. We moved from Alberta to Africa 2 years ago alhamdulillah.

Please wherever you go, do not come to Pakistan. Even we hear and love Azan on speakers throughtout the day but the political conditions here are so perverse and uncertain that no one's safe. The leadership, political and military, have sold their imaan for the gain of this world. Outlook is very bleak but we Alhmadolillah put our faiths in Allah SWT and understand that He has a plan. But we are used to living in these conditions and will survive inShaaAllah. However, I really do not wish for my brethren in Islam to move here in good faith only to be disappointed. \nI have heard good things about Oman. And of course Dubai is a good option for you guys. A handrail you have the resources to move out of Canada. There are many who have the same concerns who can’t even begin to even put up the money to move out of their house that they’re renting to even consider moving somewhere more appropriate so good for you guys for having that ability.

Also, there is refurbishment of existing nuclear generating plants at Bruce Power and Darlington and very soon, Pickering. This will provide plenty of jobs. \n \nOntario relies on nuclear power to provide around 60% of its electricity. You can come into the nuclear industry as an engineer (electrical, mechanical, civil, nuclear) or as a project manager. With all the new nuclear projects, project managers will be in hot demand. \n \nStart now to develop yourself to be well place to get jobs in the Canadian nuclear sector. \n \nThe salary is very good too. \n \nHappy to help if you need more information.

i dunno, you're privileged enough to be able to move wherever you want so that's cool. but don't think that anywhere else is better, most other countries are worse either on the things you mentioned or more. so I would urge you to think this through and actually look at the good and bad of the countries you're considering. also most other countries are poorer than Canada... heads up

I move from one country to another every five years because of the nature of my job. As a practising Muslim with children here are some of the countries I’ve lived in which you guys should consider :\n- Turkey is very developed and your family will have to make less adjustments in terms of quality of life. If you can speak Turkish then you are good to go.\n-Morocco has a very rich culture and the economy is relatively stable.\n- Malaysia is beautiful and has great community sense. Very helpful people. The main adjustment will be with the eastern culture which is very conservative. The cuisine is also very unique.\n- Qatar and UAE are both similar in the sense that finding jobs won’t be a problem and lots of people understand and speak english. Also these two countries are developed and the \n education standards are the highest I have seen in countries following sharia. Also these countries are less strict than Saudi Arabia which is my native country. I really hope you two \n aren’t considering it. Your girls will not grow up happy in Saudi. Trust a women who has done it. I love my religion but inshallah no child should go through that environment because her \n parents were attracted to the holy land.\n-Lastly this is a rather outlier in this list but you should consider India. There are mosques everywhere in almost every city and even the Hindus fondly wake up to the azaan. Most \ninclusive non-Muslim country I have lived in. My children loved it. We lived in one of the many Muslim communities near a mosque in a city called Hyderabad which was ruled by a Muslims for hundreds of years. Even though they have their own languages nearly everyone speaks english. The schools are great. The police create spaces for Muslims to worship on the roads so that traffic doesn’t disturb them. Very inclusive and the city itself is beautifully developed. The job market is great and it is a very affordable place to raise a family.\n\nI hope you guys check these places out. I’ve only listed the countries which I felt were the best options but I’ve lived in almost all the countries with a sizeable Muslim population. Best wishes to you folks from the Sayyid family. Move to Saudi Arabia but the school education is not good and I don’t recommend Pakistan from being from Pakistan we live in California

Where are you moving to? Alhamdulliah our family moved to Saudi Arabia 6 months ago from the UK, Alhamdulliah its a great experience and we homeschool our children now. Its nice to be in a islamic environment and safer place to live. Good luck!

(I hope you read this)\nOkay i have a few suggestions, having lived my whole childhood in Oman i can confirm it’s a beautiful place but Arab country's higher education(college wise) is not that great therefore ,my family moved to India(our roots are Indian) because this being a reason. (Like a lot of families move from gulf countries to their south asian countries for college,having personally experienced as well as my cousins who lived in Jeddah and loads of other relatives)\n1. So pls look for muslim countries that offer good education otherwise you will have to send them again to UK USA Canada for good college.\n2. Abu Dhabi can be a option as well\n3. Saudi Arabia\n4.Qatar\n5. Turkey\n6. Schooling works differently in gulf countries, for example you have Indian schools that run on the CBSE pattern of India, Pakistani schools, Sri Lankan schools, International School with a British curriculum, International schools with American style curriculum, proper Native schools of that country that teach in Arabic.( Again this my experience in Oman, my cousins in Jeddah went to Indian school of Jeddah, so pls wisely choose the school that you want your children to attend)\n\n(this comment is just an opinion, hope it helps. You should do what is best for your family. But I don't really understand your first reason. As much as Western countries are complicit in what is happening, so are many Muslim countries like UAE, Saudi, Bahrain. And I assume you are definitely planning to move to one of the countries in the Gulf. Leaving aside the government, I have seen more support for the Palestinian cause among the general population in the West that in my whole life in a Middle East country. I was born and brought up in the Middle East. I learnt more about the Palestinian cause infact living in a Western country now. Living in a gulf country, I have infact seen less regards for the underprivileged amongst my Arab friends that I see amongst western people. It is true I am a good Muslim living in a Middle East country, but I realise I am a better human being because I live now in a Western country.

Good luck guys. America is slightly better right now compared to to Canada. We are thinking the same. May be moved to one of those state where mostly Muslims live in America.

Hi, we live in Luxembourg and are practising muslims and have a kid. yes, indeed it is very difficult to raise a kid with Islamic values in this society. also, it's challenging to practise for ourselves as well. we don't want to be liberal muslims, rather a true muslim. but that's difficult. so we are considering to move to a middle eastern country in a couple of years InshAllah. thanks in advance for sharing your journey, good luck to you wherever you choose to live❤?

Hi guys you guys are making good decision we moved 2 years ago because of our kids and the hatred of the Muslim community we moved to Jordan and Jordanian people are amazing very welcome the school is top 10 my kids the read right and speak Arabic I suggest you guys look in to it inshallah you guys find the best place

Your number 1 reason to leave Canada is something I have been seriously thinking of too. When I first came to Canada it played a peace-keeping role. Gone are those days, it’s tearing me apart, being a part of such a country. I came from India about 40 years ago. And, everyone knows what is the present condition of India. I would leave in a heartbeat to Malaysia or somewhere else warm but my son has set roots (but, not happy with the direction this country is taking) in this country so he’s not moving anywhere so as an extension I am here.\n\nYou are making a good decision to move while your children are still young.\n\nGood luck wherever it’s that you are moving.\n\nCanada is losing a hard-working, entrepreneurial family, while at the same time they are bringing in people who really have no loyalty to this country. \n\nI totally agree with all you are saying…

The real reasons influencers, like you, move to Dubai, is because there are no taxes at all for foreigners when they depict the country in a good light and many sponsors will support you. Don't claim it's about being reminded with Adhan or whatever. That's cheap.

You both have your niat (intention) Islamically correct and praiseworthy. Move on to protect your iman. There are a dozen countries that will be good for you and your kids. All the best!

We family living in Canada too, we moved from a « muslim » country with Athan heard 5 times a day… but recent years it changed people are only muslims but no iman no safety no akhlak. Lynn just watched this video ,great content, i came across it after a friend of mine with a good job in kenya asked me if i had any links there, i am Jamaican, i actually established a business in Nairobi Kenya,which i moved from Jamaica which started in the UK, i told my friend i did have links but he would not be able to take the Cold weather, look Lynn the answer for me is if your KENYAN Government opened the doors to the Diaspora to come to Kenya from the Carribean ,USA and South America , we would bring our wealth and skills which are higher,no disrespect, yes there are intellectuals in Kenya, but they realise when they work in places like Canada that they are learning more, we as black Diasporans already had a head start when it comes to that , because we have been in those countries since Slavery unfortunately,but we took the knowledge anyway, if we came to Kenya and other African countries,not only would jobs be created for kenyans and such like but your living standards and economy would improve,its a no brainer, please do i video on this subject,?keep up the good work, nuff respect

Hello Saleh family, I have been following you for over two years now; I am not american or canadian but a physician and mother of two from a third world country in the Caribbean. I started following you because I was curious about the muslim faith and your way of life. I started following different muslim people (and jewish, vegan, homeless and more... basically anybody different than me) and after some time I saw that we were all humans in search of the same things in life. I completely agree with your decision of moving but was very disappointed in your comments towards the drag community. A person in drag reading a children's book is not indoctrination. A person in drag reading to kids is only teaching them acceptance and tolerance (exactly what you want the world to give to your girls who most likely wear a Hijab). A person in drag is an artist who finds joy and self worth in certain clothes, hairstyles and makeup... it is a person a human person with the same value as everyone else. It has nothing to do with sexuallity or sexual orientation... if we truly want freedom for Palestine, if we truly want to change the narrative and to prevent 75+ years of brutal occupation and racism ever happening again; we have to change the way we see our differences... is not enough to ignore and respect people who are different: we have to accept them and recognize their humanity and their worth; to value and foster acceptance and integration in the younger generations... that is the only way forward, that is the only way we will all secure a better future for our kids. Good luck, to be honest mostly practicing asian muslims doesn’t prefer to stay life time in Canada , UK, etc.\nThey just take the passport and move to GCC countries mainly UAE.\nAs with the same qualifications but with different passport salaries are way different.\nSo I assume u will switch to UAE

I guess you're not gonna move to some poor muslim country? It will probably be Dubai or at least Turkey? Am I right? Sandy beaches and nice weather are good points of course but it shouldn't be the main reason to relocate. I've noticed that many muslim youtubers strive more for material comodities rather than spiritual...
