The reason the SDP(Socialist Democrat Party) is freaking out is because of the census. Illegal immigrants are counted in the census and if they are removed, a state could lose a congressional seat. During the second term of Obama, so many people left California that they lost a seat in Congress, down from 53 House districts to 52. So these illegal immigrants are replacing the Americans citizens that have left those Democrat run states.

Ohhh if it was her own child I’m sure she wouldn’t be saying that’s ok.., there are many like her out there. They get those papers and they think they work for the White House. If she would’ve visited Mexico and had a kid while visiting and didn’t have the money for a green card it would have been a completely different situation. For those just because you got your papers do you not think that there are people that came here as infants or kids to immigrant parents that came to work to provide for their kids it’s not that easy to get your green card it cost thousands of dollars. Many immigrants that I know and worked with including myself, I came here as a refugee. Immigrants are the hardest working people I know. Unfortunately a lot of the ones that came here as kids grew up in some neighborhoods that are not so great and mainly are kids that were born here that are in gangs or doing drugs or violent so don’t blame immigrants saying they bring all this with them it was already here … drugs gangs violence was already here. Gangs started in the White House with their red and blues. Then they say they are taking all the jobs.. the jobs have always been here but people that are citizens are too lazy to go get jobs or keep jobs ( not all citizens) but the ones that are complaining immigrants usually come from villages without any media or drugs or gangs ect. They simply come here for better opportunities or for jobs. They come to work not to freakin take your jobs… this country everyone is a damn immigrant this country was taken from the natives taken with violence by killing them , rapi!’ Them. A Green Card is for Legal Permanent Residency - revokeable if one commits a crime.\n\nIt can be used to apply for American Citizenship. Therefore if this woman hasnt did so ( which involves passing a Citizen test), she's Not an American citizen, her nationality is Mexican.\n\nTrump stated that legals will be deported if they're have been on any type of long term claiming of various benefits - so no contribution from them to the US.

So many darker skinned American citizens will be caught up in this deportation net. Trump won't care.

Are we talking about a mass deportation of people who came into this country illegally? The funding and the resources are the problems. Trump is not going to be able to deport as many as he proposes. If some of them have been here and started an American-born family, then they should get special consideration, but if it's decided they get deported it's really not the fault of the government, it solely rests on the shoulders of those who come in our country and break our laws. If the idea is to become an American Citizen breaking the law is not the first thing to do to swear allegiance. It's confusing. My hope is that we get this issue behind us with fairness and compassion, without sending the message that you can just come here without due process.

I’m Native American and I say deport her. Yes, I’m entitled to my opinion. I’m a citizen and my people have been here for thousands of years. And, my people have been fighting for this nation even before we were considered citizens ourselves. We were employed by the U.S. Military to serve as Scouts (fighting against our own people to help the U.S. conquer-hint hint). Our languages were used to help win WWII and we have the highest enlistments by ethnic group. Most undocumented people I know are cool and they pay their dues and don’t want any problems. I am a U.S. born Mexican-American. This woman disgusts me. My father was a decorated WWII veteran. He, too, was a U.S. born citizen, as well as my mother. We never had much. One thing they both taught me was to help people who had less than we did. I look mexican, yet when I open my mouth, I don't have the accent my parents had. I am truly disappointed in a lot of immigrants who after becoming citizens have that tupe of attitude . They’ll charge them rent to sleep on the back porch. Even in the dead of winter. But they’ll have to go else where for bathroom facilities and eats. They have to sit outside till the owner gets home to open the gate so they can get around to the back porch. I was shocked to see a family sleeping together one Christmas on a concrete floor between 2 sheets the children 2and 4yrs old between them to keep them warm. Unbelievable !! I am a Documented Legal Alien and married to an American citizen. I choose at this time to not apply for my citizenship as i dont want to have to apply to my own country of birth to enter again should i need to visit relatives there. However i have lived happily now for 20 years in the USA and have never looked back. We did our immigration LEGALLY and as much as i dislike D Trump. I do agree that undocumented Aliens who live here and married to an American' should not be here. We have the same issue in the United Kingdom and its far harder to deal with there, and there is an Ocean surrounding it. If you want to live here, learn the language, (English, even though America has no definitive chosen language) become a legal Immigrant and most of all contribute to America, its people etc and stop using it for your own selfish gains.

The truth is American people already made their division so democrats need to listen to them instead of lecturing them. Our society needs immigrant but our society resource is limited, we can’t accommodate every illegal immigrate without hurting our own communities, especially when so many American citizens are struggling for affordable house and increasing living cost and so many legal immigrants are waiting in the queue many years waiting the government to process their case.

Most immigrants don't want to be undocumented; the problem is the government nowadays makes it incredibly difficult to get a green card. It literally takes like ten years waiting even if one of your parents is already an American citizen. If you're broke, you can't afford to wait.

What I would like to know is who is going to fill the jobs left unfilled when all these deportations happen? Jobs that most American citizens do not want to do. This woman is right. We need people who are willing to sacrifice their time and their old citizenship to become Americans. She sacrificed a great deal to become a true American citizen. I do not want to be a citizen of another country although I have spent time as a guest worker LEGALLYin other countries. I was not allowed to take jobs in those countries (Japan and Germany) that native workers had the right to take. I was not given benefits or a right to vote. I had a passport which I was required to carry at all times because as a foreign worker I could be stopped and questioned about my legal status. My passport showed my working status in country with the appropriate stamp. I accepted these restrictions as part of my working conditions. I wanted to keep my own citizenship as an American although I could have worked to obtain the fluency level required and the citizenship understanding of law and legal procedures to become a citizen. It would have taken time and waiting for an application to clear. That is what it would have required but I wanted to be an American. I did not renounce my citizenship lightly…nor should anyone without work and thoughtful consideration of what it is to BE a member of that country.
