canada can't vote out of their hole because they are full of immigrants. who have majority over their own citizens. all but a port for immigrants to enter the US.

Please stay away from Canada I moved here and I regret it every day. I'm a citizen through my parents and getting my certificate took YEARS which stopped me from being able to go to school or work which means years of my adult life wasted that could have been put to much better use for something that wasn't even my fault. I also lost good opportunities too because of it!!!! Not happy especially since I genuinely needed the money. I won't forgive Canada for that. Also everything here is really expensive and the selection is just not very good. Also work opportunities are not as good as in the US. Anyways I finally got my certificate and got my life started up again just over 2 years ago, but I still often think of returning to the US after just being here for 4.5 years. I now warn some of my US friends not to go to Canada just for the hype if they mention it. I also know of a friend who moved here and left after 1 year, they came to hate it here.

I saddens me that ordinary citizens (not wealthy) are stuck in this incredibly difficult life. We all slug to keep the wealthy bathed in riches and the government assists them. It is crazy that Canada has been rated #1 to #3 of the best places to live in this world. Tells you how other countries are facing even more hardship than we are. The 'let them eat cake' faction has got to be put back in place.

As a US citizen, I am sad for both Canada and the US. We were great allies, and now that is gone. I wanted to move to Nova Scotia and start a new life doing my art and be a part of a culture I love. This is why it is so important to participate in the election process! The future is uncertain, but for those who care about our countries, we need to work together to bring back democracy and bring down the cost of living. It is insane what we are experiencing now!

All those lamenting on the state of Canada and planing to pack their bags and going off to another country, to another continent... Do not forget that you are able to do that largely due to the fact that you are a Canadian citizen, holding a Canadian passport. How many people are willing to give up their passports to live in some Asian country for example, in the Middle East for example. Not many people for sure. Having your cake and eating it too, doesn't always work out the way one images it to be.

We don’t have them here in America like this, I know people that live in Canada and they say that Indian people are the worst part of living there. There is simply too many of them that refuse to fit in with the citizens and their own culture.

The commentary here sounds so much like U.S. citizens griping, it's almost funny, but also sad. Maybe Trump the ignoramus is right... do Canadians really want to give up and just become part of the USA? I doubt it, but if you're in any doubt as to where to live, don't try just south of you. It's got all the problems you mention and then some. And of course it's still a great country; I was born here and live here happily. But I've also been to Canada four times since the 1980's, and each time I am just wowed by the many ways in which Canada seems ahead of the USA. The grass truly is greener on the other side of the fence... just be aware of what you have, and that you have an amazing country, too. You could offer we Canadians all the money in the world, we would still be living in Canada, your gun toting citizens, your police forces that for at least 40 years have been stopping Canadians on your highways and taking money for trumped up charges, your new president and his cronies and your wonderful health care. Basically, for the past four years, Biden, Harris and the Democrat Party have spent hundreds of billions of US tax dollars flying illegal immigrants in and basically leaving America’s borders in Mexico and Canada wide open to mass illegal immigration. In the past few years, the Democrats have spent billions throughout all of our federal agencies via misappropriated US taxpayer funds that were earmarked for American citizens or American infrastructure and development, then used these misappropriated, taxpayer funds to provide housing, food, education, medical care, and in most cases, luxury hotels. Just within the past two weeks FEMA spent over $500 million to provide luxury hotels for illegal immigrants yet a few weeks ago they were still claiming that they didn’t have enough money to help American citizens who suffered catastrophic loss during recent hurricanes and wildfires. The simple fact that Democrats got more upset that Elon Musk bought Twitter than they are, that their own political party in government for the past four years, has literally been holding them at gunpoint and forcing them to pay taxes so that they could steal it or launder it into their own campaigns and pockets is literally disturbing! WTF!!!! If any of those other federal agencies are ran or funded the way U.S. AID were, with the massive corruption, misappropriation, fraud and theft of taxpayer funds, then I hope DODGE goes through an completely audits, every single federal agency in the United States. Strictly avoid canada now. It's a very difficult situation there. No part time or full time jobs. Not for freshers. Everywhere experienced people required and preference given to Citizens then Permanent residences then at last to persons on TR visas. Even getting PR is very difficult now because getting off 1 year Tier 0/1/2/3 working experience is very very difficult. Even indian students on PGWP are not getting tier jobs hence doing odd jobs . I do think India is gaining every way. And developing fast. India’s education system is. Nothing to sneezed at. Generally all Indian and Asian families who have come to Canada are always the top students in schools . But whenever there are economic problems, they blame it on immigrants instead of acknowledging their shortcomings. Lets keep i real. The desire that most immigrants have is homeostasis which is the familiar. All humans do this. Individually indians are usually smart and decent people. Together let’s do something about it instead of leaving. Canada isn’t a country like China where no changes can be made by its citizens. I’m an immigrant, first arrived here in Canada in 2014. Once I heard the US wants to annex us I asked myself what can I do to help prevent this. I think the quickest way is we need a stronger military. I looked up the Canadian military website and found out me as a permanent resident can also be qualified to apply. Although the compensation isn’t that great, if the US really start being unwise I will definitely apply.
