Typically a border is patrolled by both sides... if migrants are getting into US from Canada isn't it the responsibility of both countries to patrol the border? why is this only a Canadian problem?

We took in well over 5 million immigrants (documented and undocumented) over the past 3 years. Like New York, many of our cities are overwhelmed with this influx. We don't even have the resources to track down expired visas, overstays, or asylum cases. Last year our government admitted there was a problem and decided to start taking action. The biggest issue is people claim to be tourists with no intent of leaving. The Canada US border is far stronger than our international one.

So why is Canada allowing buses through without stopping and checking? There should be restrictions on which roads buses can travel. Canadian authorities stopping at the rest of the open roads.

As a Canadian I can tell you that Trash is right, 16,000 illegal immigrants crossed into the United States from Canada last year. But... What Trash forgot to mention is that 263,000 illegal immigrants crossed into Canada from the United States last year as well! Let's build a wall and get Mexico to pay for it. The we can keep our 16,000 illegal immigrants and You can keep your 263,000 illegal immigrants. Then Trash mentioned that fentanyl is being smuggled into the United States from Canada. This is also true... But again... Only about one half of one percent is getting into the USA from Canada. California alone is letting in 68% of all of the Fentanyl that is in your country! Why isn't Trump doing anything about that? Why isn't Trash Boredom reporting on it?

For the Canadians apologizing for migrants crossing to New York, did they apologize to you for the hundreds of thousands that crossed from the US into Canada? As a Canadian, I care more about who is getting into Canada than who is getting into the US. I want to know from my government how are these people getting into Canada in the first place?? Canada needs to fix how people are getting into our country first. Then this will naturally help keep these folks from using the land border to gain access to the US.

Getting Canadian visa is very easy under Truduea Liberals, Liberals approved millions of visitors/ students/ temporary workers visa every year without proper vetting, most of these people coming from North India, so for them it’s easy to land in Canada and then they cross to US.
