I am not even Canadian, although I have visited many times and enjoyed their hospitality. Nothing pisses me off more than the entitled, disgruntled immigrant. So entitled these Indian students. It's not even a thing Canadian government should be accommodating. Of course police from both countries should be involved to catch the scammers, other than that, Canada has no obligation under any circumstances to take in these students as immigrants by giving out any other permits.

Canada is becoming like India now, since Liberal took over, influx of low quality students started coming to Canada. @10:21, the suspects in the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, being Kamalpreet Singh, Karan Brar, and Karanpreet Singh all have Punjabi names, just like the victim and a CBC article, dated May 7, 2024 stated that a Punjabi interpreter was brought in for the testimony of Karanpreet Singh, so he's certainly Punjabi. It's a stretch to imagine that Punjabis (likely Sikh) would be cooperating with the Modi government (Hindu) to assassinate Nijjar, given that the Khalistani movement base is Punjab. Does anyone else think that these 3 men in their early 20s look too old for their ages? They look to be in their mid-30s. Maybe someone, like the RCMP, should verify their identities. \n\nAs for the other murders, I'm not surprised. The gurdwara violence and rivalry has been going on for decades. you know, I have worked with temps in BC for over four years. They come in/phone in and ask for temp work, but here is the thing,....they don't want to do construction work. they want a company to oblige their school schedules, warehouse, forklifting only at 25 to 30 an hour. Its a scam to get PR.....they are not citizens, they are visitors. Ever single one of these students I've met ALL of THEM feel they're entitled to the same right and privileges as Canadian born citizens. Its just twisted. \nOur government is being played HARD.

They are not Canadian citizen's, what entitlement. Our country should not allow other countries people to come to Canada for school then think they can just stay. All international student's should have to go back to their countries by law. If they want to apply from their own countries go ahead as they then will have to have back ground checks like any other person who wants to come to Canada.

They all have fake admissions letters to Canadian academic institutions there are unscrupulous agents in India who are sending these students abroad to Canada using fake documents… this is what is really going own know they don’t want to leave so they are doing this ?. If you are a Canadian teaching ESL in Japan and your work visa expires, you are sent home. Japan is awesome, arguably better than Canada, and yet there are no entitled Canadians there who expect Japan to change it's policies.

I came to Canada in 2019 to study Master's at a highly-ranked Canadian University. I thought I'll have good education, and if I get a good job in my industry in Canada, I'll be easily able to apply for PR. Well, I completed my degree, I got a job, gained experience, but now the Express Entry system is so messed up that I cannot score that high!\n\nYes, I blame those shady colleges who offered admission to fake students, I blame those students who did not come to study but to apply for asylum. Because of them, everything is messed up. I agree that not all international students are entitled to get PR. But, those who are skilled should get a fair chance, like before. Not everyone comes here to make coffee at Tims.\n\nI saw my friend who could barely talk in English getting PR before me through the TR to PR pathway in 2021. I couldn't apply because he finished his degree earlier cz his was a College Diploma of 1 year and mine was a Master's degree.\n\nIT IS FRUSTRATING.

The only way out of this mess is not more state and more regulation, but quite the opposite--deregulate and privatize, deregulate and privatize. Nobody pays 4-times the tuition of a domestic student just for a degree from Blablabla college. Of course almost everyone comes for PR, because Express Entry was a stable immigration system, but now the system allows fraudulent LMIA holders to go through, and the actual skilled workers are paying the price because NOBODY can score such high score in Express Entry (current draws). The current draw cut-off scores are unrealistic.\n\nThe government allowed 90k unskilled workers to get PR through the TR to PR program (was a mistake), but now have made it difficult for the actual Federal High Skilled applicants. Canadian immigration is now so messed up, it favors the junks of the world and ignores the real skilled people. I myself have a Master's degree in Canada from a top University, have Canadian work experience, have foreign work experience, scores highest possible in IELTS, still I cannot score 529 for express entry. Conversely, a mediocre asylum seeker or fraud LMIA holder easily gets PR. Express Entry is no longer a stable system for skilled workers, it's now a lottery.\n\nBefore blaming international students for everything, you need to understand the real problem. Whether everyone is entitled to PR, NO! But, the skilled workers with excellent CRS scores (490+) should be able to stay to benefit Canada & get a good career for themselves as well. Otherwise, Canada itself will suffer from skill shortages just in a few years.

Right now it needs to be Canada first. So many people come here and plan in advance to take full advantage of everything here. Enough is enough.

Wasn't that long ago when I was an exchange student to Canada that I wasn't allowed to work at all, had to live on campus, have x amount of money in an account controlled by the Uni and had to gtfo by a certain time. Not sure why these guys feel they are entitled to work or stay in the country.
